Ebony"You may refer to me as Ebony." The shadowy Lopunny replied calmly, easily keeping pace with the young male. This was probably the most lucid she'd been in days, luckily for the Shinx. She had no issues with revealing this information, as he would either keep it to himself, or suffer the price. She continued walking after him, moving on two legs, so as to keep her claws ready. She skipped from shadow to shadow, keeping out of sight from a distance. She never fully disappeared, so that the Luxio would know she was watching and listening; an intimidating creature to have leaning over your shoulder, to say the least.

"Thank you madame Ebony." The Shinx repeated the name as if he had to have it etched into his mind right that second; also, of course, having to add some title of reverence to it in the process. Though he felt a bit awkward for keeping a direct, straight path while the shadows danced around him with an occasional voice accompanying them, he pressed on without a doubt in his feeble mind. "There should be a freshwater pool directly ahead. Be careful though, it's dark and the ground may be slippery..." He spoke; the moon above shifting in its position constantly, unable to decide whether it wanted to stay behind the clouds are not. Once in its concealment though all that could be noted as a trace of any water was the slightest trickle that kept the pool from being entirely stagnant. Otherwise in times of moonlight it shone brightly in contrast with the rest of the dreary environment.

EbonyWithout bothering to deal with the warning, the shadowy Lopunny emerged from the shadows right alongside the edge of the pool, dipping her paws into it's icy waters, and drawing some up to her mouth to drink. Her thirst satisfied, Ebony glanced back at the Luxio. "It is good for you, to have succeeded; for the price of failure is death." She remarked, her eyes shining mercilessly. She paused, relenting slightly. "You have assisted me; what is it that you seek?" She prompted impatiently, hoping that whatever he asked in return wouldn't be much. It would be a right pain to have to dispose of a sinner at this time of night. She'd already had a little too much excitement at the tower that night.

The Luxio stared blankly as his master drank from the waters he had guided her to, feeling greatly accomplished for his work. He couldn't help but become even more awestruck by her though as the cloudy lining above dissipated momentarily allowing the pool before them to gleam with great light. In this natural show Ebony's charcoal body also lightened ever so slightly with what was a godly aura through Wyatt's eyes. He at this moment realizing that she was all he could ever ask for and more. When he first heard the news of the incident at the tower; it was safe to assume to him that the perpetrator was likely to be male but never in his thoughts had he considered that he would be begging for apprenticeship under a surprisingly dangerous female Lopunny whom he couldn't help but admire for her beauty. "I am glad that you are content with my work, madame Ebony." Wyatt's words undoubtedly held truth considering the possibility of death was just etched into his brain once again. "And I wish to help you again, anytime you ever need." He noted with certainty despite the Lopunny's threatening demeanor and words. "As soon as I heard of your actions today at the Tower of Rebirth; I knew that we shared the same viewpoint on life and I came looking for you. Need be I can stay with the guild if you want to have some undercover ears, but consider this my resignation from that wretched league of sinners I was born into." Wyatt concluded, his head still down even though his voice was filled with determination. This was no longer some churlish kid with a superhero complex; he knew what his beliefs were and where he was willing to place his trust and faith.

EbonyEbony raised an eyebrow, brushing the sand from her soft, dark fur. "Very well, then." She decided, tilting her head to examine the Luxio. He seemed a fair enough choice for an underling. "You can assist me." Her voice was quiet, no longer threatening. "But I don't think it would be wise to stay with the Guild, and return each night to me. Not only would you wear yourself out, your travel from there and back would alert them to my location. I don't want to be fighting off a whole army without my sword." The Lopunny eyed him carefully. "In fact... If you are not against the idea of living underground, it might be a plan to find you a burrow out here."

"I'll dwell wherever you want me to." Wyatt stated without hesitation. Though thinking it over after he had spoken underground probably wasn't the best place for an Electric type like himself but in the end he'd just have to cope with it. The idea of being at the whim of his god 24/7 seemed to rule over all cons in this mental tearing of his.

EbonyEbony nodded, suddenly all business again as she lowered herself onto all fours and sprinted off down the path back up the slope, moving with surprising speed. A rabbit was meant to run on all fours; it was only natural, especially with such long, powerful hind legs. She led the lion a little ways across the plains, before jumping down without hesitation into what seemed a dead end. She weaved in toward the wall, and disappeared. A moment later, she popped her head out again. There was a corner, disguised by the shapes in the rock, and there was more than enough room for a Luxio to fit through. She waved a hand for him to follow, before hopping further down the tunnel. Ebony sat up on her hind legs again, and pointed to a small burrow just off the ground, encased in the rock. "That's my burrow there. Yours will have to be bigger." She explained, hopping closer to the wall across the tiny clearing. She jumped up, and twisted in mid-air, aiming a powerful Jump Kick straight into the rock wall. It literally crumbled under the impact of her strike, and she was able to easily dig through the rubble, shoving it out of the way to uncover a shallow burrow in the rock. She repeated this several more times, until she was satisfied with the size and depth of the hole, before hopping out and dusting the sand from her fur. "One burrow." She announced with an unmistakable note of pride. "They're the best home to have out here; sturdy and protective. Go ahead and customize it to your likings. I'll be in my burrow if you need me." With that, she melted into the shadows, and slipped inside her own burrow, snuggling up deep within the passage in the rock.

Wyatt had to put quite a bit of effort into keeping up with his master as she darted off without notice. It was strange watching Ebony race around like that considering how her body didn't seem to be built for that kind of movement never mind the rough terrain. In the end though, barely winded and at their destination, the Luxio found it a little disappointing that he wouldn't be living directly with his god, but he figured it did make sense that he was far too big for such a confined space. "Thank you very much." The Luxio thanked graciously with a nod as he lept up into his newly formed perch; his words barely having time to escape his maw before Ebony was gone.

EbonyEbony padded calmly across the still-hot sand, wincing with every step. Her feet were sore from running, and the ice sphere hadn't been easy on the pads either. Her sword had been re-strapped to her back, and although she could carry the heavy blade with ease, it made her body quicker to wear. She'd been up and moving for over a full day now. She needed to relax a little. The Lopunny glanced up as frantic footsteps grew louder, and she could tell by his scent and the familiar breathing patterns that the out of breath creature was Wyatt. As she rounded the corner, she knew she was right. Great. Just great.

Just as expected, Wyatt shown up on cue. A burlap sack filled to the brim with miscellaneous berries was tied onto his back and spilling its contents to the ground as he ran with obvious panic in his step. From the looks of it he was out in search of food for his master all day but despite his species he wasn't much of a hunter. The one he was feeding though was at least a Lopunny so it was safe to assume she'd approve of this meal more than fresh meat. Then again...Not much of her was normal to begin with. "Madame Ebony?!" He cried out, skidding to a halt at her feet. "Madame Ebony, are you alright? I knew I should have gone with you. Please be alright." His words slurred together into a cluster of sheer panic. The poor little Luxio was shaking in his skin as he struggled to even make eye contact with his God. It pained him to see her in such a fatigued state as this.

EbonyThe Lopunny hissed in irritation at his concern. "Just Ebony. No madame. I'm the destroyer of sin, not a princess." She corrected moodily, clearly not in the frame of mind to deal with his obsessive fawnings. She padded down the slope to the river, settling down in the sand, and resting her sore feet in the icy water. She shivered involuntarily at the contact, but otherwise gave no reaction. "If you had gone, you would have died, and I would be foraging for my own food tonight, wouldn't I?" She replied icily, her version of gratitude for the meal. She took a small handful of berries, popping them into her mouth between sentences as she continued. "The majority of the Guildmasters were present, including the new brat, and nearly all of the seconds and thirds. I managed to get one, by taking out the lights, but she was isolated. It wouldn't have been wise to take out another in such a crowd." She explained dryly, as though she encountered such issues every day when killing people... which... as a general rule... she did. Unfortunately for them. "...Suecra escaped. Again. I sliced up his shoulder, but they'll probably have sealed it over by now; there was a healer present." She continued, most likely talking over the Luxio's own rantings, as she was really talking to herself, rather than him. Wyatt was there, it did not make him any more or less a person. She stretched her legs a little, flexing her muscles in the cold river water. "I'll be spending the next few days determining a strategy to locate him, although, knowing him to be the bloody b******d that he is, he'll probably surround himself with a thousand others on a regular basis. Him and his precious little guild." Fuming, the Lopunny fell silent, and popped the final berry from her hand into her mouth. Ebony glanced at the Luxio for a moment, frowned, and then turned back to face the river. Now that she was done talking strategy with herself, she didn't have a clue about what to say. The boy seemed to expect something of her, but she'd long ago lost any social skills she might possess.

"Yes, master. I apologize, master." Wyatt quickly apologized for his faults and walked with his head down as they approached the river. His words duplicating themselves as he forced himself to etch a new title for her into his brain. He didn't exactly have the vocabulary to come up with many ways to show that he was subordinate to her; but he would at least try his hardest until he came across something she approved of. Once down at the riverbank he also calmed down ever so slightly, glad to see Ebony's pains were waning with the soothing touch of the cold water. With extreme interest he listened on to her ramblings and approved of her feats. "If you need, master, I can always request to switch guilds. I feel that I should be wherever you need me the most. I can keep you updated when he's planning to be on the move." Wyatt's ears perked up as he concocted a scenario where he may be of use. Little did he know though that the Guild of Rebirth wasn't exactly anything similar to his own surroundings at the moment with his team.

EbonyThe Lopunny sighed, but it was clear that she was considering the idea. "...That idea might be of use in future. I shall have to keep it in mind..." She noted calmly, rising to stand before the Luxio. "In the meantime, I have a better plan for you." The Lopunny's crimson eyes sparkled dangerously as she spoke. "Tomorrow, we begin your training.... as an assassin." The corner of her mouth curved into a smirk, and she padded out onto the dry sand, standing tall although her feet were still sore to stand on. "Goodnight, Wyatt." She murmured, making her weary way up the slope in the direction of the burrows. She more than needed her rest.

Wyatt walked along with a confident air as his Lopunny companion arose from her resting place; very pleased that she even acknowledged his spoken plans. He was quickly kicked off his high horse though as a more malign conversation picked up; the Luxio unable to give much of a reaction at all to being told that come the next day he would be trained in the art of killing. A simple smile that he was barely able to keep and a nod to her suggestion should have been enough to pass of it like he wasn't trying to defy her, which he truly wasn't. All-in-all though the thought of taking another life, especially for the first time, worried him immensely. Maybe his plan wasn't as thought out as first assumed; cleansing the world of evil kinda' needed to involve deaths somewhere down the line though. Even though it was planned for them to part ways he couldn't help but follow from a distance to make sure she made it back to her burrow alright, at which point he began his trek for the guild, figuring he should at least spend a night every once in awhile with his team so they didn't get suspicious. Before dawn the next day he planned on coming back for his training.

EbonyEbony twisted her body, slicing forward with her sword, only twisting the blade at the last moment, to knock back the Luxio with the flat side of her blade. The Lopunny opens her jaws, spitting a high-speed Dark Pulse toward the Electric-type, the shadowy orb spinning like a top. The Normal-type broke into a sprint, heading straight for her pupil. She spun her sword back to slice with the sharpened edge, just a hair's breath away from Wyatt's side, and she leaped at him, poising her sword to stab down into his gut.
