 FrostFrost squealed sharply as an Oddish leaped into the water in front of him, and the young Growlithe flattened his ears in alarm, backing away slightly. She looked too young to be dangerous, but you never knew how protective the parents were.
As he heard someone else speak, he turned his head, and found himself face to face with a Charizard and a Houndoom.
He didn't really know what to say to them, but, as luck would have it, he was saved the trouble, instead being caught up in a tidal wave of water.
He coughed, trying to shake the water from his thick fur. Oh, this was very uncomfortable. He regretted having such long fur...
"...S-s-sorry..." The Growlithe whimpered fearfully, staring at the trio of much older Pokemon around him. He felt so scared... He hoped they were friendly enough... He curled his now very soggy tail between his legs, feeling uncomfortable and vulnerable to be out there alone with so many strangers.

Cesia, Xenon and PolonaThe tidal wave soaked Cesia to the bone, and Xenon just barely had time to protect his tail flame. "Hey! Watch who's around you, you little shits!" Cesia growled, showing her teeth. She turned to look at the two new Pokemon and nodded curtly to one before being splashed by the other. "WHAT DID I JUST SAY-!"
Xenon flapped his wings, drying his body with warm air from his tail flame. Then he glanced over to Armand, who seemed rather sensible to him. "Hello," he greeted the Dusclops.
"Ah~!" Polona cried as the wave swept over her, pushing her right to the side of a sorry-looking blue Growlithe. She looked up at him and asked, "Why are you sad?"

   ~ Armand~ Veronica~ Vanessa~ Veronica and Vanessa surfaced laughing hysterically. Unfortunately, they surfaced soon enough to hear the Houndoom's comment. Treading water, she shot an angry glare at the canine, "Tch, what did you just call us?!" Also treading water, Vanessa nodded, an equally angry glare on her face, "Jah, just voo do you think you are, Mutt?" Anyone who knew Veronica and Vanessa knew it was a bad idea to mess with them. Even if their opponent was stronger, they could do some serious damage. Armand turned to face Xenon as he was addressed by him. He chuckled, embarrassed at his companion's actions, "Oh, hello, I trust that water didn't cause you too much trouble?" It had been rather rotten luck that the one time Veronica and Vanessa chose to make a splash, that there would be several Fire types here.

FrostFrost backed quietly out of the way, gently nudging the little Oddish with him. With some of the older Pokemon getting so riled up, he felt unsure about leaving the child to fend for herself. She might end up hurt.
He crouched down to face her, flicking an ear cautiously. "I'm just nervous... There's a lot of people I don't know..." He answered rather lamely, deciding that it would be best not to mention the fact that he was also utterly lost.
As the voices around him grew angrier, the Growlithe winced, glancing sharply at them with wide eyes. He'd have to make sure they didn't accidentally hurt the sweet little Oddish. He knew from experience that angry females were one of the deadliest forces the world had ever known. He'd watched Luna and Zori in action often enough to know this.

Cesia, Xenon and Polona"I called you a little s**t, and it looks like I was right," Cesia snarled, bracing herself. These kids didn't know who they were dealing with...probably because she and her partner were relatively new to the area, she told herself. Well, she would fix that. Then the Aron spoke up and she snapped, lashing out at both the smaller Pokemon with a roar and a forcefully sent Focus Blast, the attack wide enough to hit both of them. She shot a glare to the little Abra suggesting they quit and decided to ignore him. If he decided to interfere, she could dispatch him easily anyway.
Xenon shook his head. "It was annoying, but my tail survived intact, so overall it wasn't terrible." The two Pokemon that had caused it were annoying, and - he took a quick glance - trading insults with Cesia. "This can't end well," the Charizard sighed, watching as the Houndoom attacked. "Yep. That's Ces, all right."
The Oddish looked up at Frost again, thinking for a moment and then speaking. "Oh. Well, me too. You just have to be brave." She smiled, leaning against him in an attempt to comfort, seeing as she didn't have any arms.

~ Armand~ Veronica~ Vanessa~ Veronica and Vanessa were rather busy making faces at the Houndoom, pulling down their eyelids and sticking out there tongues, they almost didn't notice that she had shot a rather large Focus Blast at them. Well s**t, that wasn't good. Ready as ever Veronica quickly grabbed her Steel-type partner, who then projected a rather large Protect around them. This caused the Focus Blast to ricochet off the sphere and shoot through the canopy of trees above. "Tch, you've done it now, mutt!" Vanessa nodded in approval before releasing a piercing Metal Sound at the Houndoom, before doing a flip and switching places with Veronica. She opened her mouth wide, revealing a small orange orb that slowly grew larger and larger, the Hyper Beam threatening to break loose, and then....! "ENOUGH!" Just as the Hyper Beam was about to break loose, a large Ominous wind ripped through the water, picking up the duo in it's vortex and dropping them rather unceremoniously on the shore. Dizzy and confused from the attack, they swayed slowly, "Ugggggghhhh" Armand sighed and turned back to the Charizard, "I apologize for my friends' obstreperous behavior. They usually know their limits." The comment was enough for Veronica to snap out of it by shaking her head vigorously before shaking a fist at Armand,"Hey! Don't belittle me like that! I'm your second in command!" She was ready to go on a full out rant but Armand shot her a look so dark, so full of "You're in big trouble" that her mouth instantly shut with a small "Meep!" Sometimes, being a Ghost-type had it's advantages.

Imiti--- Celsus Imiti watched the Dusclops settle the situation more effectively than he would have. " Thank you. Now," he continued as things calmed down, seeing more than a few badges. " I see that a lot of you guys belong to guilds?Celsus, meanwhile, was out of the water, having been caught in the Ominous Wind. " Uh, guys? A little help here?"

FrostFrost pricked his ears in confusion as the little Oddish spoke, although it brought a little smile to his face at the child's bravery. No, this little Grass-type, strange as she was, would one day make a fierce opponent; clever, confident, and fearless.
He shifted his paws awkwardly. "Bravery is harder than it looks, you know." He told her. "Yo-" His voice was sharply cut off as he heard a cry for help.
He leaped suddenly past the Oddish, darting at full speed toward a flopping, helpless figure in the sand.
He snapped up the Magikarp, and dropped him lightly into the springs, crouching near the water's edge once more to ensure that the fish was feeling alright. "Y-you're not hurt, are you?" The rather concerned Growlithe asked, not really caring if he'd just exited a conversation. He didn't know how long a Magikarp could go outside of water. He'd never learned anything about fish Pokemon.

Cesia, Xenon and PolonaCesia was about to dart in and try to grab onto Veronica with her teeth when she was unexpectedly hit with the Ominous Wind. A whine left her as she was carried several feet, lying on her side when the wind dissipated. The ghost Pokemon's words went in one ear and out the other and at once she was raring to attack again when Xenon called sharply, "Cesia! No!"
The battle lust faded from her eyes as she realized this was not the place to fight. Sending one last glare at the brats - she'd get them later! - she padded over to join the main group, not saying a word.
Xenon sighed, a smile forming as he realized his partner was no longer in danger of hurting the two younger Pokemon. "Thank you...I didn't catch your name, I'm sorry. I'm Xenon." He extended his arm to shake hands.
Polona squeaked as Frost suddenly ran off to help a flopping Magikarp, but followed him as fast as her short legs could carry her. Tripping on the last step, she tucked her leaves in, rolled over, and landed on her feet - a little dizzy but not much worse for wear. The Oddish looked at Celsus closely. "Are you okay?" she asked.

~ Armand~ Veronica~ Vanessa~ Having recovered from their little trip, Veronica and Vanessa defiantly returned to the water. This time, a bit more gently and settling for just floating lazily in the water. How a rock and steel type can float? We'll never know. The encounter with the Houndoom had left Veronica fuming, obviously upset with being called a little s**t, and the water was the perfect thing for her nerves. Vanessa on the other hand, only seemed to feel upset because Veronica was upset. She still didn't like being called names much. Although it went unspoken, the two decided that they would have to keep a close eye on the Mutt, he might make for some entertainment later on. Meanwhile, Armand extended his hand, with the aid of a Shadow Punch, and shook the Charizard's hand, "I am Armand, and it's no trouble, really. If anyone should be apologizing, it should be me." He smiled gently and released his grip, noticing that a small Abra had requested their attention. Seeing that he was eying his Guild Badge, he gestured to it, "You mean this? Yes, I belong to the Sun Guild. I am the proud founder of the Lunar Curtain exploration team." He vaguely recalled seeing the small Abra around the guild, and even in some the strange goings on. It was a shame he couldn't remember his name, Armand made it a job of his to memorize as much he could about the other Sun Guilders. Which brought up another thought, "You know, Xenon, I can't say that I've seen you around the Sun Guild much, if not at all. Are you new here?" It didn't even cross his mind that they might be from a different guild entirely.

Imiti--- Celsus When Celsus was put back into the water, he just sort of noncommittally muttered, " I'm alright." Meanwhile, when addressed by Armand, Imiti replied, " I'm Imiti, and the fish over there is Celsus." Celsus rolled his eyes as Imiti continued. " We just got here a week or so ago." When Armand addressed the Charizard, Imiti noticed his badge. " Hey, that's not a Guild of the Sun badge, is it? Are you part of one of the other guilds?"

FrostFrost flattened his ears, confused by the Magikarp's sullen voice. He seemed almost depressed to answer them... But he'd been cheery enough before. Maybe he was embarrassed? ...Still, it would be nice to get a thank you every so often.
He nodded to the Magikarp and turned to face the little Oddish who stood beside him. "I should be going... My team will be worried..." Well, some of them would be... "It was nice meeting you." He touched the tip of his nose respectfully to her leaves, and turned to leave, padding quietly past the older Pokemon, so as to not interrupt their conversation.
Within a few moments, he was down the path and out of sight, heading back into the Kingdom of the Sun.

Cesia, Xenon and PolonaCesia said nothing, just sat down and observed. It would take her a short while to come down completely from a battle high and until then, it was best for her to not interact with unfamiliar others.
Xenon shrugged. "We have volatile teammates, it's not the fault of either you or I." Listening to the words between Armand and Imiti, he was somewhat surprised to be then asked of his own guild origins. "I'm part of the Guild of Rebirth," he told the Abra, before turning to Armand. "Yes, Cesia and I are not from this area and have only recently come here." He gestured towards the Oddish looking down at Celsus. "Polona is from this general area or much closer, in any case, than our home is." He didn't touch much on why, exactly, they were staying in the area. That was a story for another day.
Meanwhile, Polona stood by the edge of the springs next to Celsus, waving goodbye at Frost with her leaves. Standing there for a moment, she turned to look at Celsus. "I'm P'lona, how about you?" She smiled, turning her back to the water and then deliberately falling backwards into it. A little splash emerged, but nothing comparable to that of Veronica's and Vanessa's.

~ Armand~ Veronica~ Vanessa~ Armand smiled, comforted by the words of the kind Charizard. Although, volatile may have been a bit of an understatement. Wait, they were from the guild of Rebirth? Why did that sound familiar.... didn't someone from that Guild attack the Guild of the Sun? For the life of him, Armand couldn't remember. Nevertheless, Armand smiled politely, "Well, let me personally welcome you to the area. I trust you are enjoying yourself so far? Aside from recent happenings, of course," he added the last part under his breath, still a bit embarrassed by his teammates' obstreperous behavior. Speaking of which, Veronica and Vanessa were still contentedly floating in the spring, allowing the calming waters to wash away their worries and stress. Although they both still kept one eye open, just in case the Mutt decided to try something funny.
