1. Another town seek our city's destruction. Either through another town or by another means. (2 approve idea) ~ given by Moonlite__Syren

Um... I'm not a matron but I do have some tiny (and probably totally negligible) stake in Ulorbbath. I like the one idea that Antique listed though, it would be interesting to see how the residents of Ulorbbath fair against another town. I'm totally spacing on the point of drow city plot lines right now, I'll try to add in some when/if I figure some out.

I'll go edit it so that it is clear who thought it up.
Anyway, I'm curious on the make up of this idea. Will we have to create this other city or simply start that it exists.
Also do we need characters to fill in the other side?
Those are my questions on the idea. However if anyone has another idea or wants to add to the idea currently not listed please do share them.

Ah, sorry about that Moonlite, great idea though biggrin
As for the idea of creating another city or simply starting it's existence: I prefer the former, this plot will evidently be one to tide us all over and set up a good foundation for Ulorbbath affairs for now and well into the future. As for the characters part, I'm sitting on the fence on this one as creating all these characters would be fun but then we would have to wait for crew approval. If crew approval is going to be happening quickly then sure I'll go for new characters (preferably ones I might kill after creating).
I do have a question to add to the matter though, since Lolth obviously watches Ulorbbath would she raise a finger to affect the outcome of an city to city attack?

Oh and I have come up with an idea! (Feel free to shoot it down too)
Perhaps an elder brain (or other powerful non-drow underdark entity) decides that Ulorbbath is in the way of greater power (or has some religious cause) that would cause the disappearance of drow across the city.

I'm not particularly privy having two cities pitted against each other right now.

A veeeeeeeeeeeeery long time ago in this guild Ulorbbath and Au'Shinduago almost threw fists. There was a lot of influence from the deities though, during that time.

The involvement of the gods has since been limited. As well it should be.

What I'm looking for is a smaller plot involving Ulorbbath solely.

I want a base to start off with before we branch out.

Am I making sense?

Thus no plot...so where do we have?
Is it possible to create a new art or something?
A new experimental art that a house created or was brought in...but that the consequences for failing in the experiment is...oh I don't know. I'm reaching to the nether voids of my mind to grab at demonic straw.

And yet I thought we were off to a good start. I'm sorry Quen but you're not giving us much of anything right now. I think it'd be fair if you put in your input. What do you WANT to see as opposed to what you DON'T want to see. Its not fair that you're making us think of a plot when some of us have little knowledge about the city itself. Now you have the whole city shut down preventing any course of action. I'm not trying to call you out or put you in the spot light or yell. I'm just a little frustrated and need some sort of enlightenment.

And another thing, please tell me how a small plot can effect a whole city? That seems more like an oxymoron to me. lol.

Serethiel had us start over completely. She wanted a new start. Which means that the old role play we had going on never happened, or should I say, be an event that happened a while ago. I saw that you were still talking about the event between the matron mothers in your new posts.

If I had anything to input, I would have done so. I am mentally blank with ideas. There was a time when I was very active in Undergaia, and I was able to formulate plots and etc. I had A LOT of free time back then. However, I am still in military training. I have limited time on the internet. I literally get about an hour of free time after school, and there are usually other things here that is priority for me to take care of before I can get on the internet. I do not have the time to sit and come up with ideas like what I used to...and when I try...I draw blanks.

I meant a plot for the city, a background, somewhere to start off from. I'd like to start with this before we come up with a plot that involves another city and etc.

Yes. It ******** sucks, but it's just the way Undergaia has been for a while, and if this is a place you truly want to rp, then all I can say is be patient.

I don't mean to put you in a spot Quenthal, but you mentioned that once you had tons of ideas.
Is it possible that you wrote one down or have a bit of it still floating around in your head or on a piece of paper of something?

If not, than I ask other older members. Do you all have any ideas from way back that you never got to act on. We might not have all the same players, however the bare bones of anything can give us something.
