"How could I have told him the truth?" Kai put on a mock high-pitched voice "'Oh, by the way, Brookie, I'm gay and you know that evil redhead who likes to piss us both off? Yeah, him. Well, he's my boyfriend.'" Kai rolled his eyes. "How exactly do you fit that into conversation?" He sighed. "I'll bet you a million he isn't regretting a thing."

Brooklyn looked around the nurses office apprehensively. He didn't like this. Not one bit.
"Can I help yo- Oh my." The nurse said, looking at Brooklyn's leg. "What happened, dear?"
Brooklyn shook his head and looked up at Bryan, hoping that the Russian would answer for him.

Bryan layed Brooklyn down gently on a nearby bed before turning to the nurse.
"He, well tripped and landed in a pile of really sharp sticks. It happened to somebody else i knew once, although she walked into a stick."
He ran a hand through his hair and looked over at the nurse to see if she believed him.
((true story about the walking into a stick. how the hell she didn't see the bloody thing *shakes head*))

Tala sighed. "Well i wouldn't have put it like that. You were still his friend, Kai. He trusted you, and i don't think he would have cared that much."
He looked over at the other.
"You know him better than anyone, Kai, does he seem like the type of person who wouldn't regret something like that?"

Kai glared at Tala. "You know, sometimes I really could hate you. Why do you have to be all voice of reason-y?" He looked around the hallway "Do you want us to go and look for Brookie, if you're so worried about him?"

The nurse blinked. "A whole pile of sticks?" She asked disbelievingly.
"I'm fine." Brooklyn told her before sitting up and swinging his legs over the bench, hiding the grimace of pain he wanted to make from his features, the only indication of how much moving at all was hurting him was that his hands began to shake.
He lowered his legs on to the ground and began to stand up but his legs wouldn't take his weight, he fell forward, straight into Bryan.

Bryan had known that Brooklyn wouldn't have been able to stand and had been prepared if the other had fallen, which he did. He cuaght brooklyn and wrapped his arms around him, making sure he wouldn't fall again.
"He's not fine," he said as he stared down at the other. He turned his head to the nurse, eyes narrowed, and with his patience run out.
"What happened to him isn't bloody important. That it actually did happen to him is and now he needs help. So would you mind helping or not?"
He may have been holding Brooklyn a little closer than necessary but he couldn't care less.

Tala sighed. "I don't think i like your tone," he said flatly and started to walk away from Kai.
"And i don't think that I am them one worried about him," he called over his shoulder.

Kai sighed and hit his head with his palm before jogging to catch up to Tala. "I'm sorry." He said sincerely. "I didn't mean to sound like an a**."
He sighed and looked at the ground. "I'm not worried about Brooklyn... I'm... I don't know the word for what I am. One half of me wants to kill him slowly and painfully while the other half wants to go and find out if he's ok."

The nurse rolled her eyes. "I don't appreciate being spoken to like that." She snapped before gesturing to the bed. "Put him back down there- this time make sure he doesn't try to run- and I'll see what I can do." I so don't get paid enough for this
Brooklyn looked up at Bryan and sighed. Why was the Russian insisting on helping him. He thought that it might have gotten through to Bryan that he didn't want it. And yet he stuck around. Brooklyn didn't understand it but was grateful. "Help me get back there?" He asked, pointing to the bed a few steps away.

Bryan rolled his eyes. "Mmhmm, whatever."
He picked Brooklyn up again and layed him down on the Bed. "And this, time, stay there," he commanded.
He sighed and turned back to the nurse, "Happy now?"

Tala looked over at the other. "Oh i see what you are now, half worried."
Tala shrugged and gave Kai a blank look. "You may want to kill him now but that is still murder. Somehow i can't see you doing that. And i've bugged you enough to know." He sighed.
"And i'm sure he's fine. Maybe this is his chance to expand his social life, like i said he should."

Kai pouted. "I'm not half worried. It's just that Brook's always been a little... extreme... and unpredictable. He's either gotten over it completely or he's gone and done something drastic. And I don't like not knowing which it is." He sighed. "Y'know, whatever. I don't care. He has to live his own life."

The nurse nodded curtly and began to wash the dried blood off Brooklyn's legs. "Try to stay as still as possible" She murmured to Brooklyn.
The orange-haired teen nodded and gripped on to the bed sheets, his knuckles turning white as the nurse continues to wipe off the blood and got out the other medical stuff she'd need. Brooklyn didn't recognise half of the stuff she had pulled out, he hadn't exactly hurt himself at school badly enough to warrant a trip to the nurse's office before.

Bryan sighed and leaned against the wall, making sure he didn't watch what was happening with Brooklyn.
They whole pain thing was just...unwatchable.
Instead he stared at the very interesting blank wall.
God, i hope this is over soon.

Tala nodded. "True, and since his life is now Kai-less, he's going to have to find someone else to hang around with."
Tala thought about what Kai had just said and stopped walking.
"What do you mean when you say eh's extreme?"

Kai waved his hand. "I mean that he'll decide on a whim to do something that neither you or I ever thought about. He goes from just being himself to being hyperly happy to being a manic depressive all in a blink of an eye. He's an interesting person to be around." Kai raised an eyebrow at Tala. "Why? What were you thinking?" He asked, smirking.

The nurse stepped back from Brooklyn and nodded, she had bandaged both of Brooklyn's legs.
I look like a mummy Brooklyn groaned inwardly. Out loud he asked, "Are you done?" hopefully.
The nurse nodded. "But I don't think you'll be able to walk around for a few days. Do you want me to call someone to come and pick you up to take you home?"
Brooklyn shook his head quickly. "N-no Thank you." He stammered. "I'll find my own way home."

Bryan looked up and walked over to Brooklyn.
"Wrong, you aint finding your way home like that."
He looked down at the other and raised an eyebrow.

Tala thought for a moment before shrugging and shaking his head. "something about pointy sticks but i think i may have been watching to much tv."
He continued walking with Kai. "So, now what?"

Kai sighed. "And there goes your reputation, Red. Here I thought you could get something perverted about anything"
He shrugged at Tala's question. "Now we enjoy our lunchtime like normal teenagers by doing nothing instead of enjoying them by having secret makeout sessions"

Brooklyn looked up at Bryan from where he sat on the bed. "Then what do you suggest, smartie? There's no one at my home at the moment and I can't call anyone."

Bryan rolled his eyes and picked the other up. "ill give you two guesses, small fry," he said smirking and walked out of the nurses office and up the hallway.

Tala huffed. "My reputation is fine thanknyou very much." He smirked over at Kai. "Would you like me to prove it to you?"
He smiled innocently at Kai. A bit too innocent for Tala.

Kai raised his eyebrows. "Do I really want to know?" He asked, slinging an arm around Tala's shoulders and playing with one of the red bangs in front of his boyfriend's face.

Brooklyn's eyes widened as he held on to Bryan's shirt, in an unneeded attempt to stop himself from falling. "Bryan!"
He rolled his eyes and allowed himself to relax, confident that the Russian wouldn't drop him. "You don't even know where I live."

"And that's exactly why you are going to be directing me, so don't fall asleep or anything, okay?"
Bryan continued walking down the hallway.
"So, where do i turn first?"

Tala watched Kai's hand evilly. "Of course you would want to know. This me and my ideas we're talking about." Tala looked around.
"So where to-..." he tilted his head on the side. "Is bryan carrying brooklyn around?"

Kai blinked and watched as Bryan walked past them carrying Brooklyn. "...Um..." he said articulately before blinking again and, making a snap decision, running after the other Russian. "Brooklyn!" He called, as he skidded to a halt beside Bryan.
Kai looked at Bryan warily. "Brooklyn?" He said again.
Brooklyn's eyes widened when he saw Kai. "Kai? What?" He looked up at Bryan and blushed. "Uh... Is Tala here?" He asked, trying to find something to say.
