When I was younger, lets say 9 to save the question, I was scared by alot of movies, movies today I watch again and laugh. But I'd have to say.. the Howling got to me the first time I say it.

(sorry if I posted in this already)
the movie that scared me? uhhmmm... what was its title???
hoo... heeb... hor.. dammit. I know there was a 'ho' in it somewere. anyway:
Its about these 3 kids. one of 'em is named danielle, she was the youngest, there was a teenaged boy and girl, the guy lights some 'virgin candle' thingy, and releases three witches. there is a cat who isn't really a cat, but a boy who has been trapped in a cats body for around 300(?) years, (he can't die) and requests the help of the three teens to destroy the witches so his spirit can go to heaven with his dead sister.
I first saw it a really long time ago, saw it again around last halloween, but when I first saw it, it gave me nightmares.

Darkness Is My Life's Blood Only ONE series of movies scared me as a kid "Scream" I was 8 ish when I saw the first one and it was a regular guy in a mask and I kept thinking "what's to stop someone from going to a halloween store, buying the costume, and repeating the act" but now a days the slashers are so cliché I have timed the events "hears dish crash...investigates..nothing there..he pops up...now...runs away..trips...stumbles backwards..dies" and another freaking idiot is relieved of life YAYLight Is My Deaths Curse

Oh god, that Barney one with that wishmaker or whatever. That thing seriously gave me nightmares. Even ask my parents, I couldn't sleep for weeks.
And Cujo, since the man next door has the same dog and the thing doesn't stop barking.

I didn't think it was scaryy. It was rather humerous, except when the witches jump out. I like the song the blonde sings to get the children. I auditioned with that once.

sad to say, I'm scared of aliens. but only if it's three in the morning. the last movie that seriously scared me was Pulse, and certainly not for the plot, but the things in it, the dead people, were just creepy as hell.
