Louis smiled as Dawn stood to her feet, only for his smile to vanish moments later as he turned to look at Nick. The arcanist's eyes flashed a deep purple for a split second, before returning to their normal chocolate brown hue. He held his arm at his side, steadying and protecting Dawn as he spoke venomously, "We're not interested in any games. You have 30 seconds in which you may chose to leave, after that, I will not hesitate to force your departure."

Louis gathered darkness to him, a sensation Dawn would feel through her close proximity as a growing chill up her spine, penetrating the protective layers of her dress sphere like paper, "One..."

Louis slowly moved his and to the hilt of his rapier as the man continued to speak, halting his counting for a moment stopping on 3. The darkness slowly became visible trailing off Louis' shoulders. The air became deathly still, not a breath of wind dared to cross the wide open expanse. Only the thin, steady snowfall drifted ever downward across the deserted plane. His eyes locked with his opponent's as he spoke, his words resounding unnaturally over the winter wonderland like a gong or bell tower announcing the end of time itself, "Thrity."

Louis drew his blade and slashed at the air. From Nick's perspective, the male would vanish from sight without warning, like the world had suddenly swallowed him up in mid movement. A second later a rift would appear inches in front of his face carrying with it in a familiar demonic tone, "Memento Mori."

Dawn stared, confused, as Louis and this new guy went at it. Somehow, these two knew each other. Obviously this guy posed some sort of threat for Louis to be so on edge. She shivered slightly at the change of temperature around them. It was enough to make her take a step back away from him, her eyes never leaving the newcomer. It wasn't long before Louis charged after the boy.

As Louis went after Nick, Dawn looked down hearing something under the ice.

"Wow!" Dawn yelled out as the ice cracked, and she started to take a few steps away from the area she was standing. It wasn't long before water started to shoot at her. In her rush to get away from the water that hit her, she slipped on the ice and slid, like a baseball player, away from the fighting.

When she stopped sliding and the water had settled down, Dawn stood on her knees her eyes searching the area.

"Okay someone wants to fight, huh?" she mumbled as she got to her feet summoning her tessen, "I can give them a fight."

Dawn slowly started to slide her feet on her ice, (which looked rather strange for she was trying not to fall) and started to dance. The air started to change on the lake and the trees surrounding the area. Dawn was enchanting the area with a dance that would silence Dani and Nick if they were unable to resist.

Dani literally felt her face dropped as she the spikes did not hit the directed target. She was even more pissed when she felt the wind change. Dani tried to summon more water and soon realized that she could not use that at the moment. Dani then heard Nich shout for Dani to take out Dawn. This could only mean that he was effected as well. “Sh**” Dani thought to herself. “This is not over yet…”

Dani flicked her hands to the side as her chakrams formed right into her hands. She then flicked her hands quickly as one of the chakrams moved in a curved form right at the girl who was dancing. She then flicked the second one go to a curve to the left. As both of the chakrams traveled, Dani moved quckly to another tree so that she would not be noticed. If the girl did not move, she would get hit by the two chakrams, however, if they did not hit the target, then the chakrams would disappear instantly and reappear into Dani’s hands so that Dani could not be detected.

Dawn's eyes shifted slightly as Nick yelled out for someone to take her out. Due to her dancing around she was unable to see where the chakrams came from. She was however to use her dancing and ice to her advantage by letting her feet slide and skate on the ice. With grace she was able to move back and away from the incoming attack without disrupting her dancing.

As she slid back into position, her eyes went back to searching the trees. This Dani couldn't remain hiding forever. If she wanted to get a good hit on her, she'd have to come out.

Louis tore his hand away, a sudden burst of darkness flowing from his eye as he opened it to reveal a flow of black ripples flowing into the center then out again causing the entire eye to go black. Louis stepped back, dodging and parrying the whip and he continued to keep his distance and avoid getting caught by the blade. Luck however was not usually favorable, and in this case, it once more dealt him an unfriendly hand. The whip collided with his rapier at the perfect angle, knocking it into the air until it embedded itself in the ice some distance away.

Louis jumped back and avoided the returning swing, drew his dagger and braced himself, "You're not even supposed to be here! I warned you what would happen if you got in my way again!" Just as the whip crossed his path Louis stabbed into its trajectory with one dagger, causing the whip to spin around and attach itself to his dagger. The arcanist stabbed the dagger down into the ice, then followed through by stabbing the other dagger on the opposite side of the whip to lock it in place, "Let's dance!"

Louis gave the two daggers a heavy jerk to set them, all of this done in one fluid motion. Without even standing fully, Louis dug in his toes and finger nails, suddenly forming claws over them to dig in for a split second, then launched forward along the ice, sliding in a near horizontal position to close the distance in a blur. Louis' hair and tendrils of trailing darkness moving in his wake snapped forward as he came to a sudden halt. He bent back back digging in his heels, ice coating around them like stoppers at his command. Louis' upper body moved with the momentum upwards to a standing position. Louis' right leg slid past Nick's, making them side by side for a moment. Then as his body came upright, Louis craned his body like a corkscrew, his right arm outstretched to his toe, pulling back into his side as the opposite arm stayed bent back before climatically thrusting with all the pent of force, into Nick's chest with enough strength and darkness in it to launch him like a projectile.

Louis un-shouldered his rifle and aimed it at Nick while he stood. Listening quietly, glaring with the cold intent to kill with a dim purple glow gleamed from his good eye as darkness flowed into the barrel of his gun. Louis spoke to himself over Nick's shouting, "In the end, even the most masterfully crafted puppet rots. Every boat sinks to the bottom of the sea. And even dust formed in the shape of a person returns to its original state. Dust to dust. Ashes to ashes. Everything remains the same. All that remains now is the means and paths with which we chose to get there... no amount of chaos can change that. I am that to which all things are bound... the inevitable fate linked to every mortal soul... this is the end."
