Rosuto nodded and hesitantly got out of bed. Was he even allowed to be out? It didn't matter. He just had to see Hatomi. Without a second thought, he hurried out the door and searched for Hatomi's room. His feet hardly touched the ground now, and he soon found himself in front of the door where his senpai was. Immediately, he walked in.

Hatomi had closed his eyes only listening to the sounds around him, when the doctor took his father out of the room. He was glad and quite frankly he didn't want anything to do with them man. Once his day was up for being there he was going to sneak out before anyone knew he was even out of his bed. His plans sifted through his head slowly do to the medications the nurse had put him on to help him relax. He faintly heard the sound of someone entering the room and he opened his eyes slowly and looked over. Who he saw there surprised him and he gave the best smile he could in the crappy state he was in, "Hey...." He said which in turn caused him to cough. He grimaced slightly the awful taste that came after the cough making him cringe a bit. He ignored it quickly and kept his attention on Rosuto, his breathing sounded a bit better, but the rough raspy sound to his breathing was still there.
Tanya had silently followed Rosuto staying outside the room in case they weren't supposed to see him yet. She knew she could keep a nurse distracted for a while before they ever realized that someone else was in the room. She looked into the room noting that Hatomi glanced over at her for a split second before looking back to Rosuto. She smiled softly before turning back to looking out at the main room.
Hatomi took a deep breath before he started to talk again, "How are you holding up?" He some how got the sentence out without panting or gasping between every other word. Hatomi felt worried, that maybe Rosuto had changed him mind, but his worry didn't compare to the fear he felt on the fact on if his father came back and saw him there. He hated to think what his father might do if her ever found out about Rosuto, and he knew the man can do a whole lot worse then what he'd done to people. He pushed his thoughts aside and waited to see what Rosuto would do or say. He took a deep shaky breath closing his eyes to gain air back into the passage ways leading into his lung. It really felt like someone lodge a huge rock in his chest to keep him from being able to breath, but he managed some how. Once he got his breath back and his breathing had regulated once again he opened his eyes again to stare at him with gentle eyes.

Rosuto's breath hitched when he saw Hatomi's eyes glance at him. Just yesterday, before he had tried to commit suicide, those eyes has stared at him with hatred and cruelty. He shook his head a bit to clear away the image. He wasn't going to see those eyes again, at least on his senpai's face. It was all in the past now, and he was a bit glad it was so.
"I should be asking you that question," he answered as he approached the bed, taking a seat in a nearby chair. "I guess you're going to be here for a while. Um..." The freshman wondered what he should say next. He was very nervous, almost shaking now. "Y-you said you wanted to start over, right? Well... we both live alone... so... c-can we live together?" He almost mentally kicked himself in the head for asking the question so randomly.

He shrugged, "Maybe..... my healths....not that important." Hearing his words about living together, a smile flitted to his features, "Sure....I think Shadow would love it too.....oopse....Wonder if I closed the front door before leaving the house....." He honestly couldn't remember if he'd closed the door or not, but he hopped little Shadow hadn't gotten out. The young kitten would be defenseless against the animals outside. When he heard that he'd probably be in there a while Hatomi sighed, "Last time....took me....a couple weeks to get out.....I blame my old man for that one." Realizing he said that out load he bit his lip and looked over at the door expecting said person to come in at any moment and accuse him of talking about him.
When he didn't show up in the door way he let a, unconsciously held, breath out. He looked at the ceiling in thought knowing since Tanya was at the door she would let them know if something was headed their way. "This time....feels like I'll probably be here....for maybe a week.....maybe less....." He admitted as he looked back over to Rosuto silently his features looking like he was struggling to stay awake, but once again was being to stubborn to let it happen. "I'll leave the.....the hospital once I'm....doing better....." He took a deep breath again to manage a full sentence again, "So, live at my place? Or yours?" He asked softly.
((XD Short posts are okay.....just had to realize that maybe my big mosts are making up for all the time that I hadn't posted. Almost forgot my guilds page even existed XD.
Just realized his friends name is Shadow as well XD. So there's a cat Shadow....and a Person named Shadow lol.))

"Probably yours. It's much more cozy than the place I stayed in," Rosuto replied, and then he bit his lip. Hatomi had blamed his father for one of the longer stays at the hospital. What had happened? It probably wasn't best to talk about it now. Maybe after he settled in. Besides, he was quite sure he knew what his senpai's father was capable of. That man never seemed very nice.
"Anyway, while you're in here, I'll visit you every day," Rosuto declared. "I can bring you your homework and we can make up for lost time. It was only two years..."

Hatomi listened to him and he smiled gently, though when he heard the other talk about coming everyday he had to stop and think if his father had ever come back more then once when he'd been sick several times before hand. Needless to say he did maybe every few days, if he was there for more then six or seven days. He hoped the man won't be here if Rosuto did show up like he planned too. But he was happy though, not many people he knew ever came to visit him when he was sick. Mostly because his friends hated seeing him looking so weak....well except for Tanya, but she had a strict family who kept her on a tight leash. Though he wondered slightly why she was still there, surely her folks were wondering as to where she was. Pushing the thought aside he took another deep breath as another round rough coughing came around. Hatomi turned slightly to bury his face into his pillow to stifle the loud sounds of his cough before letting himself settle back down. He didn't turn back onto his back, he found it easier to breath when he was on his side.
"Okay...sounds like....we have a lot.... planned out...to do...while I'm bed ridden," He found himself giving off a weak chuckle, "Can't believe this happened.....just by being out in the rain....." He paused and puzzled about his situation, "Wait....was it the rain.....or did I eat something?.....ugh I can't remember....." He placed as shaky hand on his forehead as he brushed his thoughts away, "Anyways.....," He placed his hand back on the bedside, "If you like....you can move your things into my place.....ummm....My key should be in my jacket.....where ever the Doc put my jacket anyways...." Another fit of coughs lept up out of no where and he quickly buried his face in his pillow again. "Gods at this rate I might hurt my lungs again...." He mostly mumbled to himself. He thought over their conversation, and he was glad that his word slip on his father hadn't brought Rosuto to asking questions about it. He wasn't ready to talk with anyone about the situations he's been in with that man. Tanya had a good idea and so did his friends because of the marking Hatomi usually showed up with. But they didn't know more then was let on.
"Hay Rosuto....." He looked to the other his thoughts dulled a bit as he spoke, "I.....Thank you....for giving me....us... a second chance." His eyes drooped a bit, and he fought sleep the best he could. To be quiet honest being in the hospital scared him. He had to many memories of the hospital, memories that weren't pleasant in the least. To try and sleep there bothered him greatly though he didn't let anyone know that, but knowing his luck people were to observant....kinda like his friends. His fingers weakly fisted into the sheets beneath him, a shiver racing down his spine as his thoughts brought those things to the fore front of his mind. Knowing the old man, he'd probably try and get there early on the day that he had to get out of the hospital. He just hoped he didn't let that happen, he also had to make sure he didn't get to Rosuto either, who knew what he would do. He was sure Tanya was listening in on their talk, and would probably do her best to help out any way she could.
Which meant she might hang around his place more often to keep the situation to where the old man wouldn't try anything. His thoughts wandered, may be the rest of the group should know about his place too. He was sure Tanya would tell the others soon anyways, so they can keep an eye out. He sighed to himself, oh well looks like trying to keep his place a secret is out of the bag. He half smiled though.....who needs anyone when you have friends that are more of a family then anything else? He closed his eyes for a moment and found himself struggling to open them back up, and he noted it was getting harder to think straight. His body basically forcing him to try and shut up to sleep. "S'getting harder to stay awake to talk...." he fought back a yawn and failed, "Rosuto...promise me....if you see my dad.....don't talk to him....and don't let him know you are okay?......" He wasn't able to stay awake any longer the last few words slipping out as he promptly passed out finally, "Dun....wanna lose you....like I did.....with mum." His breathing was shallow and slow, the raspy sound still there, but a bit rough now do to the random coughing fits he had.
Tanya glanced into the room and sighed softly, noting Hatomi's posture. Hatomi was just to easy to read sometimes. She thought to herself as she walked into the room, noting that it was probably safe to be there. The doctor and nurse had both smiled at her and not said a thing when they'd walked by, when she had accidentally stopped being more of a look out then a listener. She stood close by and looked at Hatomi, "Seems like his body wouldn't allow him to stay awake any longer. I plan on calling home and telling them about Hatomi being in the hospital....I'll visit every few days, to make sure he's okay." She looked to Rosuto, "I also plan on telling the others about the situation....it's clear now that Hatomi doesn't want you near his father. I plan to keep it that way....." She sighed and tucked a few hairs behind her ear, "Do you need any help moving your things into Hatomi's place? I can help if you'd like me too." She offered to him.

Rosuto looked at Hatomi one more time before nodding at Tanya. "That would be nice. I don't have much to carry, but it would still be great to have some help," he said. His heart began to swell with worry again. Was there a great reason for Hatomi to forbid him from talkin with his father? There must have been something he hadn't known about before, but what could it be? The curiosity ate at him and he really wanted to ask about it, but that would be prying, wouldn't it?
Well, it's not going to kill him if he didn't know what was going on. Hatomi most likely didn't want to talk about it, so Rosuto will just wait for an explanation. Here was much time. It wasn't like he planned to die anymore.

Tanya noted he was worried, "Come one Rosu-chan.....I think there's a lot you need to know. While we talk, I'll help you move." She said as she looked around for Hatomi's jacket which had been hung up in a closet that was in the room. She fished out his key and walked back over to Rosuto gently taking his hand and placing said key into it. "It let you know as much as me and the others know, as for the rest you'll have to ask him if he's willing to share it. She smiled before turning to watch the nurse walk in. She checked up on Hatomi which she noted was sleeping. So she did the usually routine and would ask his questions later. Tanya started to leave, "We'll come back later if you want to Rosu-chan, for now lets let Hatomi sleep." She said with a soft chuckle.

Rosuto decided he should probably check out of the hospital before leaving. Then he wondered who was going to pay for his hospital expences. Perhaps his mother would, but he should probably find a job just in case she wasn't able to. He smiled a little. At least he knew she didn't hate him anymore, if she hated him at all. He'll probably visit her one day...

Tanyas walked outside and looked up at the sky, it was clearing up but who knew if it would start clouding again and start raining again. "We might want to hurry up though....if it started raining again, it might ruin the things your moving over to his place," She said as she looked back. She thought to herself as she thought of where to start off. Looking around to make sure the one she was about to speak about wasn't around. She didn't want to cause any harm for Hatomi or Rosuto. She hummed softly, "So about Hatomi's father....where to start." She said as she shoved her hands in her pockets, "lets start with his mother.....to tell you the truth a lot of people claimed that she died after falling down the stairs in their house when she'd been sick. I for one don't believe it. It was shortly after that, that Hatomi started showing up to school bruised and somethings with open sores that he kept hidden well.....Until he got in a fight with Shadow, who'd accidentally ripped his shirt open when he tried to catch his balance."
She sighed as she looked down at the ground in thought about it. "It was about a couple weeks before you came back that Hatomi had moved out to get away from him. I was glad he made the choice to, though we had been telling him to leave for a long time. What bothers me the most is every time Hatomi gets sick he goes to the Hospital and tries to take him home when he knows his hold date is over. Hatomi escapes his grasp every time. He always threatens Hatomi though sometimes we never hear the threats, we still know it's happening." She looked over, "Just around the time you showed up....his father came into school one day when he'd gotten in trouble. Threatened him when no one was around.....and just when his father was at the hospital and thought he was alone with Hatomi....he threatened him again. I think he may be afraid of what his father would do to you if he knew you were remotely close to you." She hummed softly. "It was part of the reason why he never told anyone where he lived, thinking anyone could back stab him and let his father know of his location."
She walked slowly, "I hate the man.....I hope one day he gets his just desserts and gets into a bind so big he won't be able to break out of it. To protect him and you from him....I'm not worried about myself and neither are the others, because we know how to handle the man since our parents have some kind of ties to other people in one way or another." She said, "Hatomi can't fight him, because no one will ever believe him because of the constant fights he got into growing up. They will believe his father over him any day....I just hope by the time that man gets put away.....that it won't be to late."

"I knew that man is no good... What if I testified? Surely people. An believe me when I say something," Rosuto said quite hopefully. "We can have that guy put away and he won't bother anyone again. Hatomi wouldn't have to live in fear then." But perhaps it may not work... If no one believed Hatomi, what are the odds he or she would believe anyone close to him? He had to have evidence. There was a camera he kept... Could he possibly use that?

She hummed in thought over it, "Well as far as I know me and the others can't testify. Mostly because we are in the same situation having always fought a lot at school, though some of us don't get caught, like Shadow and I.....As for you, you might be better at being believed....The only problem is, is that he would need more then one person to help him with testifying." She mused softly until she heard the next part, "it could work, but....as far as Hatomi told me since he moved out he didn't take anything he owned in his father's house with him. All of it had to be left behind in order to get away from him. Unless he bought a new one off his small savings, then it could possibly work to our advantage." She looked up at the sky, "If so then we have a plan, but another thing is....trying to get a situation that Hatomi would need to help him. Only problem is Hatomi hates being near the man more then anything. Sure he hates him but since his father literally beat fear into him, it overrides his anger and he's unable to do very much other then to block the mans attacks. Judging by Hatomi's markings most of the time it seems he's spent his beating on the ground and curled up."
She fritted her teeth at the thought of Hatomi on the ground and taking hit after hit from his father. Judging by the mans stature it was no wonder his hits bruised Hatomi easily when other people could barely even get a bruise to appear on him. "Of all the fights I've seen Hatomi in.....the fights with his father are the only ones that leave him looking worse for wear. Sure occasionally someone pulled a blade on him, but it never got him in the condition he'd been in the last time he was in the hospital." She bit her lip before she spoke on, "....he mentioned his father for the last hospital visit....it was because Hatomi had been extremely ill....his father had neglected to care for him, or even take him to the hospital. Judging by the way Hatomi had looked....he'd been doing more then neglecting him. He said Hatomi had shown up at home in the condition he was in.....said Hatomi had told him he'd been jumped by a group of men, in some kind of gang, which at the time hadn't been uncommon."
She glanced over at Rosuto before looking down again at the ground, kicking rocks as she walked. "It was a convenient enough excuse for him and they believed it. saying that Hatomi's weakened state had contributed to his being sick," She swallowed thickly, "The bastered thought he was alone with Hatomi when I'd heard him say it.....he'd told him that he'd only brought him there to keep people from thinking he was a bad father, and the he was alive because he had so much fun toying with him......to keep him alive since his other toy had broken on him. Because of that Hatomi didn't stay long at that house for long. His stay there at the hospital had almost cost him his life, but the doctors managed to save him.....He'd also distanced himself from us. Saying and doing things that seemed to contradict what his eyes were saying. It was around that time we started ignoring the things he said and did, but didn't ignore his eyes. They held so much expressions in them then his face did....only those eyes told us everything. In time we started noticing small movements that he did unconsciously giving us hints to his actual mood and where his thoughts were."
She chuckled, "He's so easy for us to read now, but we do know one thing.....when it comes to his dad....he will not have anything to do with him. regardless of what it may be, and he tries hard to protect people from him." She looked to him as she went back to the plan idea once again, "It's the reason why he didn't want you to talk to the guy. He's trying to protect you from him......just because he couldn't protect his mother, and is afraid he won't be able to protect others from him as well." She looked away again and up the road to where Rosuto's place was. "....I don't even know where to begin to convince Hatomi that the plan is for his own good and others as well.....and from what I've seen I wouldn't blame him if he turned down the plan either."

"We can catch him by surprise. I have my own camera, so we can use that," Rosuto suggested. "Apparently, Hatomi's father doesn't know I'm alive, so I'll take the picture. It can work. If it will help Hatomi, I'll do my best to make it work." He would do just about anything to free his senpai for this fear, this torment. "Might Kyo and Shadow be willing to help, too? We can be like one of those teenage teams we always see in movies!" Okay, now that is starting to sound ridiculous.
But what if the plan failed? Would they be put to jail or worse? Well, there was always testifying. They can all say something and perhaps they could have a chance. They may not need to do anything else. It looks like he'll have to wait and see... and maybe try to carry out the plan first.

"That's true, but the only problem is getting Hatomi's father to believing he's alone with Hatomi. I really don't like the idea of having to be hidden at a distance from the two. It leaves to much time to cause any length of damage to him. But we have to catch him in the act of doing something that would even consider him to be abusing or assaulting Hatomi, over a prolonged period of time. I know for a fact Hatomi never fights back against his father.....that sick maniac having instilled fear into him so much that he hates himself for not being strong enough to fight back." She puzzled over it, "No doubt about it Hatomi's father knows the check out date.....but his father knows better by now. He'll probably show up at the hospital early to wait for him to make his escape. If that happens.....who knows what will go on when Hatomi's trying to get home." A shiver ran down her spine, she really didn't want to be witness to the beatings Hatomi used to get before he moved out. Though she knew it was for the best. They had to get that evidence and then she had an even better idea, "Wait...you have a camera right? My dad has a Viedo Recorder we can use.....it's much better to use as evidence. Motion pictures speak louder the regular photos."
She smiled widely, and nodded to herself. "It's the prefect plan. Catch him in the act, and Hatomi won't have to worry for a long time about that man. I can get the gang. They'll hang out in the shadows until some kind of signal is givin....and judging by the route Hatomi always takes to and from home....it is a very much less traveled road. His father could have a field day with that thought alone." She looked to Rosuto, "Now... if we do this Rosuto you have to remain silent, I know you like Hatomi a lot, but what ever his father does you have to remain silent and strong to keep from giving anything away. We also must not tell Hatomi about our plan. It wouldn't work if he knew....it has to look real." Tanya grimaced at the thought and knew it would be hard on the gang if they couldn't do anything, but it would be harder on Rosuto because he was closer connected to Hatomi then they were.

"I understand," Rosuto said, but he wasn't sure if he could stay out of sight. He could most certainly try, but he could not trust himself to stay still. It would be hard, considering the one he loved was being tormented and threatened.They may have to hold him back at the slightest twitch. Perhaps he should bring something to help him... either to stay still or defend himself.
They would have to leave soon, Rosuto noticed as he saw the weather outside. He wondered how the kitten Shadow would react to seeing the two of them. The kitten was comfortable with him, he knew, but what about Tanya. Did the kitten trust her, too?
