"No, if you were a bird it'd all be too easy."
He watched her run off, watched her turn around and watched her wave.
Well there it went, his adventure, cast out into the unforgiving murk.
Then again, wasn't that a lie in itself? The murk was unbelievably forgiving, it was the Empire that hard a hard time with forgiveness.
Whatever, he'd see her again, some how he'd make sure of it.

 Crysella turned and began running, not looking back till she was far enough away for him not to see her, then she whistled loudly before sinking to the ground. He was right, she should have waited... She could hear her faithful pets wing beats as she slipped into unconsciousness.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------Four days had past and already Tod was feeling slightly out of place.
He had gone back to school, where he met up with his backstabbing friends. They had studied and Tod had aced an exam, no biggie.
The indecent wasn't forgotten, but it was no longer that much of a big deal, thanks to Tod's amazing lying skills. He was walking home from school, now that it was a Friday and the weekend was approaching, when he passed that old area where he had Crysella had met.
He doubted she'd ever go there again. He missed her, and unbelievably so, the past four days had gotten worse and worse.
His "training" had started up.
He looked at the wall, how was it that he had gone out into the murk last time? Oh that's right that whole thing with the timing and the tumbling, and the almost being eaten by monsters, how could he forget?
Idly Tod wondered what Crysella was up to right now.

Crysella had relocated, as planned, and now sat out front of her new house, skinning the animal she had caught and getting ready to bring some of the extra meat over to Marcus' house, he had gotten sick and couldn't hunt for his own food. She paused and looked off into the distance, watching the storm clouds roll in. This one was going to be savage and she sighed shaking her head. Her own thoughts were on surviving the storm although a small part in the back of her mind thought about Tod as her wrists gave her a throb, reminding her of her capture four days ago.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------He heard the sky grumble angrily. That was the signal to run home huh? It wasn't like it would rain in the Empire, it never did for some reason (probably some high tech s**t) but the roaring of thunder could always be herd and such a sound in Empire culture, was not only bad luck, but an omen for anyone outdoors.
Tod wasn't going to chance any bad luck with the state he was in now.
He scurried home just beating a loud crash.
And still there was no rain.
"Hello dear, how has school been?" He looked up from where he was hunched over taking off his shoes.
"It was the same as usual mom, nothing grand or unusual." He picked up his shoes hooking his index fingers on the heels.
He walked up to his mother who met him halfway only to place a quick kiss to his cheek.
"We have some very exciting news."
Oh no.
"We've decided to render the pills obsolete."
Oh yes.
Tod perked up, his interest shown. There had to be some catch. "I've been working close with Mr. Gill and Mr. Riggs on this one. It might be one of the Empire's greatest inventions yet!"
Oh damn what the ******** was it.
She led him down one of the many hallways (it was a giant place) and through two swinging white doors into a room one could only describe as as laboratory.
"What is it?" He asked seeing two metal hat things connected to white chairs in the center of the room.
"It's sex Tod."
"Sex?" How was this sex? There had to be like, naked people, and like penises, and girl parts, and like erections! What did hats and chairs have to with anything?
"Well, the sexual revolution."

Oh damn. There was a sudden crash of thunder and then the sky let loose, the rain whipping harshly into her face and the wind howling. That was how all of the storms started, but what she didn't expect was for a tree to suddenly come whizzing by her head. She screamed and ducked running for the nearest safe place and whistling for Simba cause she was gonna have to beat some animals out of it. Little did she know that she was running towards the wall, all she was concerned about was the cave that was close by it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------He looked over at her, his eyes showing his concern.
"Sex is a truly disgusting thing. It spreads diseases, excretes bodily fluids and can some time led to fatal problems in the future. Even teenagers have the desire to have sex and because we've limited the amount of contraceptives in production it can even lead to teen pregnancy, which isn't ideal for producing healthy children."
The Empire was EXTREMELY pro production, just not in teens.
"You see Tod, we've developed a new system, one that doesn't call for any any exchange of fluid. Reproduction by laboratory is the next stage of the human race, the safer and more effective way."
Tod was following, but it was such a weird concept he was having troubling deciding if it was real or not.
"Then we realized, people would still have sex whether or not we outlawed it. So, we created a new method!"
Tod looked over at the machine and slowly walked down to the chairs. He rain his hand over the metal helmet thing.
"How does it work?"
His mother smiled, "You want to test it out?"

Crysella ducked into the cave right as yet another tree whizzed by her head. This was one of the worst storms yet and she backed further into the cave, looking around in the dim light. She hadn't explored this cave yet actually and it kind of worried her, but there was no way she could make it in that storm so she would just stay towards the front instead of going farther in like she wanted, no telling what was out there...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well Tod was a little worried, but his parents seemed to really like him so he doubted they'd put him in any real danger.
He didn't want to be castrated though, if that was what this machine insisted. "Should I? I mean, what's it gonna do to me?"
His mother seemed to pick up instantly.
"Don't worry dear, it's not going to do anything to your body, it's strictly a mental thing, and it won't change anything at all."
Tod eyes the machine warily.
But if it was sex, then really, Tod did want a part in it.
"Fine..."
Alright, I'll get Mr. Gill in here, you'll probably feel more comfortable with him setting this up."
The next moment she was out the door and Mr. Gill was in.
"Hell Tod, I see you've decided to test out the revolution." Another beatlely man.
Tod nodded unsure of what to do now.
"So sit down." Tod sat. "This is really very simple really. You place the helmet on your head." He placed the helmet on Tod's head. "And you press the button to start, it's that red one over there." Tod eyes made not of the button. So you have a few options. You can either link with another person, that's what the other set is for, and you both press the button to log in. Or, you can choose from four different subjects, two girls and two boys. Now, when you're having sex if you want to log out, press the red button again."
Tod's cheek pulled up.
"Got it?"
"....Got it."

Tod nodded and watched the man leave. Okay!
He just hoped this machine didn't screw up his wonderful p***s, he loved that guy....and needed him.
Tod stared at the red button....was he really going to go through with this? He didn't think his mother would neuter him...but then again he couldn't be certain.
And wait, would this count as losing his virginity? Holy s**t would it?! Wait, how the ******** did this machine even work?
Curiosity, his arch nemesis, got hold of him and forced his finger to press against the red circle.
Instantly his vision went black...that was when Tod got worried.
He was blind! Totally blind!
Then suddenly, he saw four people in front of him....all in robes...well, he definitively wasn't walking towards those two guys! He felt himself move towards the two girls, though he couldn't physically see himself moving. Tod decided to go for the brunette, he just wasn't feeling the blond girl for some reason.
And once he had apparently made his selection, all he could see, was her face in front of him, as though he was on top of her.
The were flashes of color, black around him, and the repeated giggles from the fake brunette below him.
This was so weird....there wasn't even anything going on! He was just like on top of her, but he couldn't even be sure of that!
And then it hit him.
He moaned loudly, the girl below him giggled.
What the ******** was that feeling. As far as he could tell he wasn't even up...but his mother had said something about no need for bodily fluids which probably meant no more erections...which left him wondering why he was feeling so amazing!
Tod let himself get lost in the world of the machine, and it was great, a lot of fun....but there was something off about it, something bad opposed to good.
This wasn't as fun as hooking up with Crysella had been. Here he seemed to have no control, everything just happened for him, not to him or by him.
He didn't like that at all.
He wanted to get out of this world and fast.
Some how the button appeared on his black screen of vision next to the girl's face and he pressed it.
He found himself sitting in the same spot he had been, no sweat, no clothes missing, no hard on either.
........What the ******** were they doing to sex....they were ruining it!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well that was confirmation. Tod got up quickly and stormed out of the room. Well now that sex had been destroyed, Tod thought it was necessary he take drastic precautions...oh and he had gotten a text from his father.
Which only made him more firm on his decision.
Moving through the hallways quickly Tod ran into his room, which had a lovely telescreen in the middle, and turned the damned machine off.
Only higher ups had that privilege. Now in privacy Tod packed a bag with some clothes, a jacket and a lighter, because fire was always important.
He made his way out of the building bag slung over his shoulder.
He was making a run for it.
Bye bye Empire, hello murk life.
Well at least that was his plan.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------Sure he heard thunder and crap,and it was sort of dark and scary withing the Empire walls, but there wasn't rain or debris flying everywhere so it was all good.
Once Tod managed to get passed the gate however, it was a whole different ball park.
He was almost killed by like twelve different flying trees. And if that wasn't enough, he couldn't even see with the ferocity of the rain.
He had never experienced rain before in his life! Thank god his bag was nylon! Tod fought through the storm, stumbling and dodging as things flew up at him.
This was crazy! He couldn't stay here, nor could get back to the Empire now that he was gotten himself far enough into the murk!
Wait, CAVE!
Oh thank the Empire...or the Murk.
What expression would he have to use now that he had run away?! Well whatever, he needed to get into that cave!
With one gigantic dive, Tod was sliding against the dirt floor into the cave.
Shelter!
