Marr suddenly snapped out of his trance and noticed it was getting darker. And with darkness comes cold. He then got up and moved carefully across the roof, each step sounding to everyone inside, and reach the gutter. At the gutter he tried to grab a firm hold on the slippery metal but the attempt was risky. He lowered himself down, his feet touching the edge of his window. With expertise, the rocked back then sprung into his room, expecting a firm planting. Instead, he slipped on the icy floor and fell over.
Realizing he was out for so long, he got up slowly and closed his window. He shivered, and walked over to the thermostat at the door and raised it to 85. He quickly got onto his bed and wrapped himself in the covers to get warm.

Blitz walked up behind Art and peeked over his shoulder, still feeling bad for his lack of self-control. The blood had begun to dry on his muzzle, not that he'd noticed or cared. Blood stained the wolf's paws, and he was also tossing pieces outside the window.
"Wh-what are you gonna make...?" He asked, his pupils enlarging at the sight of the deer meat. He held back the urge to once again sink his fangs into the meat. "I...am still sorry about almost biting you Art...blood and fresh meat just...nngh make me a little frenzied I guess.."

Marr, still wrapped in blankets shivering, called downstairs shouting, "Can one of you bring me some hot chocolate?! It's really cold up here!!"
Marr shivered again as the thermostat wasn't working out too well.

His ears twitched as he heard Marr calling for something or another from upstairs. Seeing that Art was busy with the deer carcass, Blitz figured he could quickly see what the jackal wanted. "B-be right back." He stammered, finding it hard to leave the scene in the kitchen. He was so hungry...
Shaking his head to try and calm down, he trotted to the stairs and called up, "What was that, Marr??""

"I said bring me a cup of hot chocolate!!! ITS COLD UP HERE!!" Marr shouted once more. He continued to wrap in his blankets, shivering.

Art looked over his shoulder, calmly. "It's alright kid, I used to be the same way. I really have no idea what to make, I'm usually the hunter and my friends usually cook. You go check what Marr's up to, and let me know what you think I should make," he said, nodding once.

The thermostat is obviously broken, Marr thought to himself with hatred.
The blankets weren't doing well and he was still shivering heavily.

Blitz flinched and yelped slightly, not expecting such a harsh response. "O-okay! Be right up! Just...g-give me a second!!" He answered, quickly running downstairs and into the kitchen.
"Is there any hot chocolate ready..?" Blitz asked Art. His ears were back against his head slightly and he was feeling bad that he'd made one his customers upset somehow.

Marr felt unhappy. His room had become an icy dungeon without any hope of thawing, and he is still waiting on the hot chocolate. He just hoped he saw the snow leopard boy pass by, it makes him smile seeing one near Marr's own age take responsibility.

Noticing the wolf was busy, Blitz quickly made up some hot chocolate and hurried up the stairs. It was then he could realize he could see his breath. Blitz didn't feel any difference in the temperature, but other furs might have.
"I'm sorry for the wait." Blitz said, placing the mug of hot chocolate down on the end table. "And I'll go turn the heat up. Please forgive me, but I don't ever notice the cold. My fur is so thick...I get hot real easily."

"It's ok.. Its just so cold in here.. its the only reason I yelled.." said Marr quietly. He looked down at his hot chocolate, somewhat depressed, and drank slowly.

His eyes darted from Marr and to the door. That meat in his kitchen was screaming for him to come eat it, but he needed to tend to Marr. "S-so...uhm..." He started, fidgeting a little. "I'll go and turn the heat up for you here, okay Marr..?" Blitz said, quickly going and turn up the heat. Then he went back to the room and asked, "Is there anything else you need, Marr?"

"No.. not really.." Marrs emotions had become hard and cold due to the level of chill in the room, and he continued to shiver.

The jackal's tone clearly indicated he wasn't okay, but Blitz didn't know if he should pry into it or not. "Are...are you sure..?" He asked, stepping into the room a little bit.

"I guess I could use some company.. someone warm.." Marr suggested quietly. He couldn't feel his ears, and the heater wasn't heating the room fast enough to remove the chill Marr felt.
