Ezio flew over to Hideki as he bandaged the wounds from his fight. Though he couldn't hear him, he muttered about reskcless ness and foolishness and what not. After finishing up, Ezio gave Hideki a cup of tea.

Hideki didn't yet really understand right now why he was just bandaged and given tea. "I just used too much energy and was hit by a Piercing Hellstrike Jutsu. Nothing serious. Stop treating me like I'm weak. I can handle it. *Hack* *Hack*!!!" Hideki coughed up some blood onto the floor and then just wiped off his mouth. "Thanks for the tea though. I was getting thirsty." Hideki took a swig of the tea and tear poured out of his eyes and streamed down his face. He turned bright red and he shut his eyes tight to stop the tears.

Cherry stared up at her mother, face devoid of its smile, instead showing confusion and pain. "Mum?" She spoke softly, throat sore. "What are you doing?" She asked, recognising her father's sword. "You're father won't bother you anymore." The older woman siad, before pulling her arm away and standing up. Cherry tried to sit up but couldn't manage the strength despite how desperately she struggled to do so. "Mum!" She said, panicked now as the other left, closing the door behind her. "Mum!" Cherry screamed, tears coming to her eyes and spilling down her face as she continued to struggle, managing to get on to her side, arms weakly pushing her body up before she collapsed and just lay there crying silently.

"Cherry..." Zane sighed as he walked over to her and crouched down beside her, lifting her up and resting her on him. "You shouldn't try to move in your condition," Zane said as the woman left. He wondered what could have happened at that household that made things turn out this way. Brushing the tears off her eyes he looked down at her bright pink eyes, he could almost get lost in them. "Cherry, please don't cry...she did what she had to do, and now you have to do what you have to do. We all walk down diffrent paths. Sometimes two people may be walking side by side, and then the next they part. It happens, but you never know, those two roads meet again," Zane said in a attempt to console her.
Meanwhile Ezio was dealing with Hideki What are you stupid? You can't be getting hit with th ePiercing Hellstrike Jutsu and think it's not serious. What a dumb disciple Zane has Ezio muttered as he did some more medical work on him. There, you should be better now you idiot Ezio muttered as Zane repeated everything Ezio said to him.

"The Hydra Jutsu didn't stop me and that Jutsu couldn't either. I took him down and that is that. I thought people would just be proud that I managed to team up with Dory and take down an Akatsuki Member. And by the way..." Hidkei turned to face Ezio, tearts flowing down his face. "This tea is really hot!!!!" Hideki's real reason for the tears was the tea. He was too proud and noble to let his condition and his constant pain get the best of him.

It belongs to the leader of the household..." Cherry tried to explain. "I can only own it if..." Cherry shook her head before looking back up at Zane. "She's going to kill them! She's going to destroy the Kuranma household - including herself...!" Cherry broke down then, withdrawing into herself both physically and mentally, the sword laying innocently at her feet, untouched.

"Damn it..." Zane muttered as Ezio immediatly knew what to do. Flying over to her and making sure he was corporeal, he took Zane's spot and held Cherry as he jumped into the air and burst into a spray of mist with a single seal.

"It's my fault. If I hadn't been born..." Cherry muttered to herself.

Zane appeared before her as he looked down, seeing her lying there on the floor and reaching for the sword. He picked it up and sat down next to her. "And why do you think it's your fault...do you have any idea what would have happened if you weren't born?" Zane asked her seriously.

Hideki used all of his strength to stand himself up. A few of his ribs were broken, but it didn't bother him too much because his ego covered up the agonizing pain. He turned to Cherry and furiously shouted, "SHUT THE HELL UP!!!!! Don't talk like that!! If you were never born? Don't even think that thought!! If you wre never born I would never have gotten over my Genjutsu fears and I would have never learned to trust someone as a squadmate!! Stop your crying and stop these thoughts of yours!! You are too good to be thinking like that!!" Hideki hated it when people looked down on themselves and started thinking like the way Cherry was right now. It really set him over edge.

"My father would have a proper heir, my mother wouldn't have felt the shame and guilt for bringing a doomed child into the world. The Kuranma household wouldn't have had to prepare themselves to kill one of their own." She whispered, sounding lost and feeling completely devoid of any emotioon a t that moment. "If I wasn't born, my father would have had a child he could be proud of; to show off to everyone as every father should get to. If I wasn't born, my mother wouldn't have been forced to go through my genjutsu and be forced to realise how much she hated herself for not loving me. If I wasn't born... they'd all still be alive."

"If you weren't born that could have happened...BUT...if you weren't born here's what I think would have happened: The heir may have been completely taken over by his/her personality, killing your parent sooner. Your parents knew what they were doing and they made the decision not you. They didn't have to do any of that, they chose to. Second, look at Hideki over there...and remember Cory. If you weren't born those two idiots would have died back in Suna. If you weren't born I would have been lost. If you weren't born, my face would still be behind the mask. If you weren't born I wouldn't hav egotten stronger and Ezio wouldn't have unleashed his light. If you weren't born...I wouldn't feel the way I feel now," Zane told her as he tried to make her see his view.

"The chances," She whispered, curling into a ball once more. "Of me being born with the power of the Kuranma clan was only one in possibly hundreds. I'm only half of Kuranma blood so therotically I only had half as much chance. So imagine my parent's delight when I, at age 3, summoned the illusion of my milk bottle because I was hungry." A small wan smile broke over Cherry's face and her eyes grew dull and distant. "And now they're bodies are rotting. So don't, don't you dare talk to me about the 'benefits' of me being born."
