 Konaga SaiAkatsuki Leader| Konaga Clan | Sannin"Very Well." Sai said as he hid his disappointment with the outcome. Not that it was Akio's fault at all, but he had hoped he would be able to find her. "Let's be on our way to the Sand then Ragna." Sai got up out of his seat and began walking out of the room, knowing that Ragna would follow obediently. As he walked, he turned his head slightly to speak with Akio...
"Keep trying, find out even just the village or the general area if you can, but don't kill yourself doing it. In fact, what might be more prudent would be to create a perimeter around the base. Until we get these rings, our safety cannot be assured." With that, Sai turned the corner and was on his way out to the entrance of the base.

 Ragna Kamisama Akatsuki | Kamisama Clan | Jounin Ragna smiled as he got up and dust off his behind. He was hoping that this mission would start as he needed those rings for the Akatsuki. He walk over to Sai as he followed him out of the meeting room. He knows his objections. Now is his time to complete them. "My loyalty is to my leader. The Chain of Command is my Power."

Sai said simply as he walked into the large room, his voice reverberating off the walls of the hollow room. walking up to the table, Sai could see that Akio was still trying to determine Kai's location as he had been asked to do before they left. Walking up to the table, Sai took his normal seat in the large stone chair which bore his Akatsuki ring's symbol on it. He placed the box down on the table and opened it up, revealing the new rings to Akio as he slid the box forward.
"We were successful in retrieving the new rings. Take your new one and do whatever you like with the old... they will no longer work. After we determine if anything can be done of Kai, we'll finish fortifying the base with traps to assure that no one can get in, even if they break the system somehow without suffering a swift death by some other means." Pausing for a moment, Sai nearly expected the answer to the question he had half stated in his words, but then reiterated them simply to be sure. "So, have you been able to determine her location?"

 Akio TakamiyaAkatsuki/Special Jounin"Nothing, nary a movement" sighed Akio, having become tired from all the inactivity, the crystal ball's image disappearing as the ball landed softly in his open palm, setting it down in front of him. Akio slid his current ring off his finger but tucked it away in his projectile pouch and selected the same ring he had previously worn from the new set.
"I'll keep the old bauble, might get a chance to make the enemy think they've got an advantage. Over-confidence is a great way to weaken someone."
Akio stood up from his seat and stretched with a big yawn, his body was stiff in all the wrong places and it was quickly becoming uncomfortable. However as he turned to face Sai for the first time since he had arrived and strange feeling washed over him; he had a sudden, incredible urge to grind up against him. Akio moved around to where Sai was seated and draped himself over the back of itL
"Heeeey Sai, you know what would be nice; a reward for my dedication" drawled Akio as one hand slid down to rub one of Sai's cheeks.

Konaga SaiAkatsuki Leader| Konaga Clan | SanninWhenever Akio got up to get closer to Sai, he always felt a bit nervous as to what would follow. What he was surprised to find however was that unlike before, Akio was not simply getting close to him, but had now actually touched him. In reality, Sai didn't even feel the hand on his skin, though he knew it to be there. Sai quickly fought the urge to tear the hand itself from Akio's wrist as he needed him, but was not so kind in his response.
"Continue to touch my cheek like that and you will lose that hand. In fact, the only reason your not already bleeding profusely is that I need you. However, you'll have to take out your confused state of desire on someone else, because it's not going to work on, or be reciprocated by me in the slightest." Sai made no movement to remove Akio's hand, but he fully expected that Akio would comply, lest he lose something rather precious from his body.

Akio TakamiyaAkatsuki/Special Jounin"Sorry, Sai, I don't know why I'm lacking restraint right now, but there's some weird feeling over me, I don't think it's a Genjutsu.... but who knows..." said Akio as his hands moved away from Sai's face and twirled around to lean against the desk. While he moved the feeling was gone, but as soon as he stopped and locked eyes with Sai the feeling blossomed anew, Akio's own gaze turning intense, with a heat that could melt metal in seconds.
"I g-g-guess it's tiiiiiiime for us to reinforce the base then, yeah?"

Konaga SaiAkatsuki Leader| Konaga Clan | SanninWith the strange situation now at bay, Sai allowed himself to relax a bit more as Akio edged away. The threat wasn't completely empty, but he would never have actually permanently harmed Akio for touching him, but Sai had found that people believed him when he said such things. As ruthless as Sai could be when the situation demanded it, he had a moral code of sorts. He had killed innocent people in the past, but only when it served his cause or was needed to complete his goals, never due to some sadistic glee attained from it.
"Yes. The caves themselves are already fortified, both to prevent collapse with seismic activity or use of high level of jutsu within them. I need to re-tune the system however not only to supply that, but to repel any attempt to enter the structure by the use of any Doton jutsu. What I would like from you is to take charge of the entrance. No one can get into the mountain without one of the new rings and I can reset the system's access whenever I want it seems, so we don't need traps within the entrance. However, any failed attempt to enter the cave should be punished, and a perimeter of sorts protecting at least a 100 yard radius around the entrance itself would be wise. I trust that you are familiar with such methods and are capable of setting them up?"

Sorry to disappoint you Sai baby, but I don't do traps, I watch and hide and strike when the opportunity presents itself" Akio shrugged his shoulders as he said this, not bothered in the slightest by his inability to meet Sai's demands.
However, the more he looked at Sai the more those lips looked inviting. Akio shook his head, trying to shake off this strange feeling that had overcome him all of a sudden.

Ragna Kamisama Akatsuki | Kamisama Clan | Jounin Ragna was walking down the hollow hallway to the meeting room. Feeling relax now, he walk silently to his chair that had his rings, symbol and name on it, siting in it with a relax sound coming from his mouth. What a day it was for him. he look around the hollow room as it was really dark in here. The only thing that lit the room was the inferno fire balls lit on huge pillars around the room. He did not know really how big it was, but guessing that the huge pillars lighting the room and not the whole thing seem like a world it self in here. He then look over at Sai as his eyes lock at him and sighed. "So, what do we have to do next? And I am guessing our mission was a complete success?" he asked. It was not like him to ask people about this kind of stuff, but he needed to know. "My loyalty is to my leader. The Chain of Command is my Power."

Konaga SaiAkatsuki Leader| Konaga Clan | SanninSai let out a small sigh at Akio's unfamiliarity with setting traps, as he got up to do it all himself. Before he could give one last order however, he listened to Ragna's question before responding... "Yes, the mission was a success, though I don't know that you could really call it a 'mission'. However, I do believe you may soon have a chance to embark on one." Moving over to the table, Sai grabbed Ragna's new ring from the box and offered it to him.
"While I'm here fortifying our defense, I think I would like you two to tour the villages. The more people Akio sees, the better our chances of tracking possible jinchuuriki in the future. Ragna will accompany him as a guide and as backup. The jinchuuriki and the power of the villages are always in constant flux and we need to stay on top of everything that's changing. Wouldn't you both agree?"

Ragna Kamisama Akatsuki | Kamisama Clan | Jounin Ragna look at his new ring that Sai was offering him. He took the ring slowly as he took the other one off, sliding it down in his coat pocket. Putting on his new ring, he look back at Sai, nodded his head at him with a wicked smile. "I agree. scouting around the villages would give us the upper hand to what we are facing and who we are facing. I am fine with this idea." He told them as he knew this was the right choice. His chain of commands has always giving him strength. He just hopes that this would not fail him in his duties. "My loyalty is to my leader. The Chain of Command is my Power."

Konaga SaiAkatsuki Leader| Konaga Clan | Sannin"Good, well, I'm going to assume that Akio will agree, as he should since it's his technique which will benefit most from this. In the meantime, I'll be setting all the defenses up." Assuming that the others would listen to his orders, Sai left the room and moved to the front entrance hall where he scanned his ring, causing the mountain to shift open and close again. The display arrived once more as he deactivated Ragna's old ring and activated his new one. Seeing a defense panel to the display, Sai selected several of the options as he fortified the base itself, extending the perimeter's chakra field to wrap not only around the mountainside of the base, but below it as well, cutting it off from possible infiltration from below.
Having completed the inner defenses, Sai was about to leave the base as saw the ring access come up again. 3 members. That was all they had. Sai sighed deeply as he realized how much Akatsuki had fallen. They had not been able to mobilize truly in a long time. Even if they captured a jinchuuriki, extracting the bijuu would be a draining process for all involved. They needed more members. Sai thought for only a moment as he remembered the Hyuuga boy he had seen in Sand when he was leaving. the thought then occurred to him that perhaps the old ways would not work any longer. A Hyuuga would be a valuable tool, even if he was young and untrained. In fact, such a young ninja could easily be trained into a great weapon. Enjoying this though immensely, Sai left the base after finalizing the security changes on his way to the Wind country.

Akio TakamiyaAkatsuki/Special JouninAkio sighed as he learned of his new mission; there was no rest for the wicked or the free it seemed. Akio stretched for a little bit, running his eyes all over the new boy: Ragna, seeing what he could learn.
"Okay Ragna, just to make sure you understand the ground rules for playing with me, I'm gonna run over them, 'kay?" said Akio with a wicked smile; the wonderful world of this ninja was a strange and saucy place.
"Anything I ask you to do will be for Akatsuki in the long run, even if I told you to get naked right now, it would be for the benefit of the group; providing we're on a mission. If I ask you to do that in your free time, I suggest you make a quick get-away. Now any questions?" finished Akio, now done taking in Ragna. It seemed like he might be able to have some fun with the man.
I think we'll start in Cloud, nothing like a trip there to inspire a stormy heart like mine

Time-skipped event , this should realistically happen well after Akio and Ragna leave on the scouting mission.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After entering into the dark corridor, Sai led Atsureki through several twisting tunnels as he responded to his question "Well, the next step is to get you familiarized with the base, then once you are settled in, you will begin your training. While you do that, I'll travel to Konoha and obtain those scrolls for you." coming to a fork in the tunnel, Sai took a left and continued on... "Your training will not be easy, but I assure you that you will excel past the average Genin, or even Chuunin in no time under my tutelage... but obviously it will entail rather harsh conditioning."
With that slightly ominous warning, Sai took the first few steps into the large meeting room, which opened up into a massive cavern, with a ceiling about 100 ft high, and the room itself being about 500 ft long and 200 ft wide. A large stone table was located near the center of the room with 9 chairs around it... 4 on each side, and one at the head of the table. Each chair was massive and carved completely out of grey marble, as was the table. The seats were about 4 feet wide and the stone backs of the chairs soared about 10 ft upward. On the back of each chair, was a different symbol which seemed to indicate there were assigned seats at the table.
"This is the Meeting Room." Sai said as his voice echoed off the large cavern walls slightly... "this is where all of the business of the organization is discussed and missions are given out. Sai took a seat in one of the chairs, presumably his as he removed a box, opening it up and presenting it to Atsureki, revealing it to contain 6 rings, each one with a different symbol imprinted upon it. "These rings are the true sign of the Akatsuki. No one can enter this base without one of these rings and it identifies you within the organization... go ahead and choose one for yourself."  Hyuuga AtsurekiAkatsuki| Hyuuga Clan | Genin Atsureki followed closely behind Sai as he showed him the base and told him of his training. "I understand, Sai-sama, I will strive to grow strong under your tutelage", he said in a serious tone. Atsureki was more than willing to work hard if it mean accomplishing the goals of Akatsuki, and in turn his own.
As they entered the large meeting room, Atsureki marveled at the sheer immensity of it. Never in all his life would he have imagined such a large cavern could exist. As he followed Sai to table he looked at each chair, running his hand over the smooth marble they were carved from. When Sai offered him the rings, Atsureki looked at him with surprise then immediately turned back to the rings excitedly.
Almost immediately he found the ring that he desired. "Byaku...", Atsureki muttered to himself, reading the Kanji symbol on the ring. He glanced up nervously at Sai before hesitantly taking the ring, holding it up to examine it more closely. "So this means that I am Akatsuki?", Atsureki asked in a reverent tone as he continued to examine the ring.
"Nothing hides from these eyes..."
