Sai Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 2 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 10 ||| RestingAt Sorain's pained howls to leave his bed, Sai couldn't help but cackle in laughter, his body doubling over at the sheer force of his laughter. He never knew what it was that caused it but every time Sorain would get upset, he couldn't help but find it incredibly hilarious. And like every other time he would upset his brother, this was no different, he was in a fit of laughter that wracked his body completely in shudders of amusement. It was only when Sorain attempted to make a low blow joke that Sai quickly, practically instantly sombered himself and sat up to stare at his brother with glowering eyes. "Oh, oh, oh ok Mr.... Mr... MR SMARTY PANTS. Give me your best shot, ask me anything, c'mon, do it. Do it. DO IT. DOOOOOO IIIIIIIIIIITTTTTT." He cried out, unwilling to let his brother get away at insulting him. He would show his stupid brother up, he was the stupid one not Sai.

Sorain Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 9 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 9 ||| Sorain cracked a sly grin as he anaylized the situation. His brother was playing on his field now, challenging him in his own domain. How foolish, he thought, now he would prove to his brother than attentive study without slacking off made for the better ninja. "Alright here we go. Im gonna throw up a hand seal, and you have to mimic it and tell me its name got it?" he said while quickly rolling the scroll back into it's sleeve so that his brother couldn't see. He then held his hands out in front of him and without hesitation formed his fingers into the proper position that directly mirrored on each hand. His pinky fingers were extended downward, where as his thumbs were curled upwards one atop the other. The rest of his fingers were tightly laced, making what could be interpreted as a slender looking cone. "Alright, go." he said while holding the seal tightly, waiting in anticipation for his brother to make his guess, deciding that if he managed to get this one correct he would shoot for best two out of three. Despite the fact that his brother neglected study, there was one unesceable fact of life that Sorain simply could not fathom. Sai was lucky. For what ever reason the hand of face seemed to either roll him a series of fortune, or punish him harshly. Nothing was ever in the middle. Which, as he thought about it further described his brothers personality perfectly. Both far ends of the spectrum at all times. Sai Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 3 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 10 ||| RestingSai frowned at the hand sign that Sorain put up. He knew this, he definitely knew this... he had seen this before in the scrolls that their parents made them study all the time. It was... it was.. it was definitely something. Yeah, something but something was not the right answer. Was it? "It's definitely something." Sai murmured to himself with a definitive nod, his hand scratching his small chin as his expression darkened and twisted the more he tried to figure out the exact question. Taking his free hand, he arranged his fingers into the same positions and stared at them intensely in hopes that the answer would now unravel itself. Twisting and turning his wrist to see the hand seal from different angles, Sai's eyes widened in acknowledgement. "Oh... mother... of... god..." He exclaimed, staring at his brother in disbelief at what he had just done. Wiggling his little finger in an insinuating fashion after his brother, Sai loudly howled for everyone in the house to hear, "MOMMY! DADDY! SORAIN'S MAKING DIRTY JOKES AND SIGNS WITH HIS FINGERS!!!" As though the yelling wasn't enough, he also made himself to standing on the bed with his dirty feet as he jumped up and down with no care of the pillows and sheets he trampled underfoot... all the while calling out: SORAIN'S A PERV! Sorain Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 9 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 9 ||| At first Sorain was pleased with himself for having made a fool of his brother. This night he had accomplished something, he had properly established that he was the smarter twin. Failing on the first question, his brother was surely doomed in the academy. How amusing it would be when he receives his head band first. It would put a plain distinction between them. It was then that he noticed that his brothers reaction ruined it all. Without even thinking Sorain snapped. He had continually demanded that his brother lay off his room and here he goes into a tantrum just to annoy him. "Your such a baby!" he yelled aggressively while pushing himself off the chair and lunging forward, throwing himself onto Sai and attempting to wrestle control over him. Sai Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 3 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 10 ||| Sai squealed in surprise as his brother collapsed onto him. Struggling to rest control back from, the boy soon realized that he had no chance of winning and went with the next plan.... in fact it was his ultimate plan, UNBEATABLE, no stopping it once done and it had already been done, no undoing, it was done. Slumping, helplessly in his brother's grip, Sai began to wail and cry like no other. Coupled with all the yelling, bouncing, and noise that had already been coming from the room, it would be no surprise when moments later... "SAI! SORAIN! WHAT IN GODS NAME ARE YOU TWO DOING?!" The angry, female's voice roared from outside the room. Nerve wracking steps quickly pounded the floors as in a quick moment the twin's mother, Hatsuyuki Orasakai, appeared at the doorway an angry ghost with her hair tied up in a bun and her face coated in a white, complexion creme. "SORAIN LET GO OF YOUR BROTHER AT ONCE OR SO HELP ME GOD I WILL WAIL YOUR BUTT IN FRONT OF YOUR ENTIRE CLASS TOMORROW!!"Quote: Breaking Grapple: 18 Formula: 1d20 + 2 Damage: n/a

Sorain Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 9 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 9 ||| Frowning intently, Sorain froze in position, keeping his arms wrapped securely around his brothers waist while keeping his right hand pressed against Sai's back. For several moments he sat there, locked in stare with his mother who slowly began to lean forward looking as if she were preparing herself to simply snatch Sai away from his clutches. What would he do? If he released Sai now he would only be letting himself be one up again. But if he didn't he would be at the mercy of their mother, something that made fear sink deeply into his heart. Closing his eyes tightly, Sorain yelled out in protest. "He wrecked my room on purpose! This is the only way he learns!" and as he finished his cry, Sorain roughly shoved his brother forward, forcing him off the bed and onto the floor. Effectively pushing him off the bed, which achieved his desired goal but lacked the joy of revenge that came along with the idea of tossing Sai clean across the room. "Hmph..Looks like mommy saves you this time." He said as he stood up on his own bed and hopping down and snatching his sheets off the bed and carrying them out of the room towards the back of the house where he could toss them in a hamper. Soon enough his mother would see those sheets, and eventually she would question them about what had happened. For now he would wait on his justice.

Sai Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 4 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 10 ||| RestingSai dropped the short distance to the floor below with a slight umph as he landed squarely on his feet but almost toppled over. Sticking a tongue out at his brother, he retreated to the safety behind his mother's skirt and continued to make faces. "Now that's better. Sai go get washed up, you're filthy. Your dinner is in the microwave when you're ready, next time don't stay out so late rolling around in the muck like a pig on a holiday." She scolded playfully, her hand patting his head as she watched Sorain bustle past in obvious discontent. A sigh touched her lips, the two could be such a handful... shaking her head, she led Sai clear out of Sorain's room and left him in the hall as she returned to her own doings.

Sai Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 5 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 10 ||| RestingAfter being ushered out from his brother's room, Sai simply stood there watching after his mom with care to make sure she was gone and of course that snooty nosed Sorain wasn't returning either. Once he was sure he was alone for the time being, the boy instantly turned his attention to the door of the room. Reaching out with eager hands, he grasped the door handle and turned to go in but with much surprise found himself locked out. Upset and not yet realizing that either his mom or brother had purposely set the door to be like that to prevent him from entering when no one was around, he hastened himself to struggle with the handle but to no avail as the door stood fast and unbudging. Growling, he began to attack the door with his small fists and feet in hopes that he could possibly batter his way through but soon enough he gave up with on final toss of his body against the door. It shook with the force. But that was the best he could get from it. Whimpering and defeated, Sai slumped against the door and pouted, holding himself firm against the torrent of tears he felt building in his eyes as his throat swelled and his face burned hot with frustration. He didn't know why he was bothered so much but he was, he didn't like it, he didn't want to be denied what he wanted to do. Throwing his head back violently in protest, a loud clunk could be heard as bone met door and door wont triumphantly. This time there was no holding back the tears as the frustration and pain coupled together was too much for the boy's emotions. "What's wrong?" He could hear his mother call out from the room afar, a touch of worry in her voice but the unmistakable sound of annoyance also there as well. "No. Th. Ing. Ma. Ther." Sai called back out in between sobs, eventually dragging himself up to his feet and making his way back to his own room defeated. His room wasn't much different than his brother, it was well decorated and maintained thanks to his mother and he even had his own bookshelf littered with books as well, they just happened to not be of the scholarly descent like his brother's.Instead they were of fantasies and fables, myths and legends, and the most pertaining to the world of shinobi were catalogs of weapons and devices that he kept on his desk. Dragging his tired feet across the room, he made his way to his closet and fetched himself a fresh pair of underwear and a clean t-shirt before leading himself into their conjoined bathroom. Tossing the fresh clothes onto the bathroom counter, he began to tear off his dirty clothing and throw them upon the lid of the toilet until he was completely naked. With a sigh, he made his way to the shower curtain and began to run the bath, stopping himself only as he noticed the other door on the other end of the bathroom. A twinkle of mischief played in his eye as he stared at the door that led to the other room... the room that he was supposedly barred from. Taking long, tiptoed steps to the door, he gently pressed his hand to the knob and turned ever so carefully, using every effort in his little body not to scream in success as the door opened and he was allowed entrance to his brother's room once again. Victorious and satisfied, he ran into the room and streaked his way around in stark naked circles, stopping only as he jabbed his toe against the frame of his brother's bed. Clasping a hand against his mouth to smother the outraged cry, his other hand carefully holding his injured foot as he hoped around in dismay of the pain. Finally he flopped over on his brothers bed and waited for the pain to subside. It would only be moments later before he abrupt in giggles and climbed into his brother's bed completely. Rolling around, the boy giggled and laughed at what he could imagine Sorain's shock at his brother's forced entry and more so the fact that he was, currently, sitting on his pillow with all of his glory present and available. And there he would sit and think and ponder as he watched his surroundings with care. With a sigh, he rose from his seat and leaped his way to his brother's desk. There would be no way he would just allow Sorain to just get ahead of him without even so much of a fight... Pulling out the scroll he had seen his brother studying from, a pen and a blank scroll he had found waiting for him on the sidelines, Sai began to read the scroll. His mind in contemplation, should he just copy the entire scroll word for word? Did he even had time for that... It was very unlikely, Sorain would no doubt catch him in his birthday suit and cause uproar so quickly he wouldn't have even realized his bottom was skinned by his parents already. Instead, Sai opted to skim the scroll several times and carefully copy down what he found to be key facts. Several times he had to cross out what he was writing as his eyes adjusted to the wrong line and ruined the sentence or his habitual bad hand writing would make it so illegible that it would need rewriting. Quickly he found himself with a tired hand and a scroll that majorly notes but still etched to bone with cross outs and mistakes. Copying Scrolls DC: 10 Formula: 1d20 . Sai Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 6 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 10 ||| RestingSai clenched his small fists with a wince, his fingers were so tired from all the writing he had done and it seemed as though he still wasn't finished. How was it that Sorain could do this day in and day out all the time was beyond him, it seemed so tiring, too much work. Why couldn't they just go outside and play and train their body. Suddenly reminded that he was without clothes in his brother's room, the boy shivered slightly and glanced back at the steaming bathroom behind him. If his parents knew he was wasting so much hot water, they would be furious... But he needed to finish. As much as it hurt and he hated it, he needed to study, he needed these notes that he knew his brother would never let him... not without proper fuss and pure humiliation at Sai's expense. Sighing, he let his arm nestle in the crook of his arm and read the scroll from a sideways glance, his fingers and pen scratching against the other scroll as he copied notes that his brother had took time to scribble out or lines that he had noted with a highlighter. He couldn't honestly lie and say that some of this information wasn't some what interesting, although he would rather choke on dirt than admit that to his brother. Like, now he knew that the sign that his brother had used earlier was Tatsu, the Fifth sign of the zodiac, the Dragon. It was associated with East-Southeast and the month of March. There was more to the description and several techniques that were associated with it but he couldn't bring himself to read all of it, it was too overwhelming for him. However, he did continue to write down the remaining seals and their descriptions, picking out a few jutsus that did appeal to him to write down by their names to remind him what seals were associated with the jutsu. Once done, he hurried himself to return his brother's things back to how they were, he didn't need Sorain to become suspicious of him and inspect everything in the room. He would definitely learn of his surprise like that and wouldn't enjoy his gracious gift during the night. Giggling, Sai ran out of the room with his copied scroll tightly in hand. Closing the bathroom door behind him as quietly as he could, he dashed to his own room and hid the scroll beneath his pillow before once again returning to the bathroom, leaping into the bathtub to make use of what remaining hot water was left before his parents came to assail him for all his waste. Stretching his arms high above his head, he felt the muscles in his arms and back pull happily as he strolled into his room with a fresh body and clean clothes on. Smiling he flung himself into his bed and bounced happily on sheets, rolling around and crumpling the bed into a mess. Satisfied only once all the sheets were twirled around his body in a makeshift hut, did Sai sit upon his bed and reach for the hidden scroll. Keeping sure not to disturb the sheets too much, he opened the scroll and peered down at the content that he had written in them. There was so much, he hadn't actually realized that he had written as much as he did, it was no wonder that his hand had felt dead by the time he had finished. Pulling a face, he tried to concentrate upon the words that he had so messily written down. The information was scarce and chopped, the penalty of making a make shift copy of a proper study book without really reading the book for himself. A lot of the notes were simply useless to him because of it and quickly he became disappointed with himself and the collection of information he had harvested. If there was really nothing there, then to what was he to do now? Sorain would surely be ahead of him for tomorrow's class and he would make him look dumb and the teacher would laugh at him.. and the students would laugh at him and he would have no friends and he would have to sit in the corner with a dunce cap and be the laughing stalk of the village and then the whole world. The boy could barely choke back the tears that filled his eyes as he thought the sad story. Bit by bit the scroll dampened with his falling tears and he wailed out in dismay, his hands quickly pulling the scroll away to save it from the salty attack, his little fort destroyed for the attempt. Now extremely upset, he tossed the scroll at his door and threw himself against his bed, his face hidden in his pillow as he pounded the bed with his fists. Like that he continued for minutes until finally calming down and stopping. With a heavy sigh, he drifted off into the welcomed world of dreams. Copying Scrolls DC: 10 Formula: 1d20 . Sorain Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 9 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 9 ||| Sorain returned back to his room, pleased to see that his brother was no longer there. Despite the frustration of what had happened, Sorain was still exited about the mourning. Tomorrow would mark the day that he would be allowed to actually enter the academy. To become one of the rookie Shinobi that trained hard every day to get strong, and more importantly, it seemed as though he already had the one up on his brother who was clearly unprepared for the more technically know how of being a ninja. Sitting himself back down at his desk, Sorain sighed for a moment. Right away he noticed that something was off, it was almost like he could feel it. Something was out of place, or perhaps missing but he could not tell right away what it is. Taking a moment to scan his room, Sorain attempted to figure out what exactly was missing. After giving it some thought for several moments, Sorain concluded that something was surely gone but nothing of any real value. For now, he would simply finish his studies before bed. Notwen Kenkomishi
Level 1 ~ Hp: 10 ~ Cp: 9 ~ MHp: 10
[Entering from Academy] Notwen arrived at his home a little over half an hour later, having had to meander through a network of alleys to avoid staying out in the open too long. When he stepped into the apartment, he heard his mother's voice call from the kitchen. "Notwen, where have you been all this time? Didn't i tell you to be home before it got dark out?" the dark-skinned boy sulked. "Sorry mom, i got carried away in the academy training grounds and lost track of time." he replied. Sighing, Norohiyaki, Notwen's mom, returned most of her attention back to the stew she was stirring on the stove. "You're something else, boy." she said with a smile, "You must get this from your father." At the mention of his dad Notwen perked up his ears, taking his shoes off before moving onto the carpet of the ground floor. "Where's dad? I don't hear him around." "He's out on a recon mission. He should be back later on." The news upset the dark-skinned boy. His father had promised to help him make up his academy work. This was when Notwen was getting ready to head out to get his curriculum scroll. With a sigh, he began to climb the wooden stairs that would take him up to the second floor. Sensing her son's disappointment, Norohiyaki decided to cheer him up with two pieces of information. "I'm sure he'll be back in time to teach you a thing or two, but you can get a head start. An academy instructor dropped off your study materials while you were gone. He told me that they're a more detailed version of what you got today." This was an interesting piece of news. The fact that he didn't even read the one he had in his hand yet made him even more curious to know what he was missing out on. "One more thing." said Norohiyaki as she heard her son beginning to ascend the stairs, "Dinner will be ready soon so don't get carried away."

Sorain Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 9 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 9 ||| Sorain continued with his studies, adamant that he would be fully prepared for the academy. From the rumors he had heard, the academy was comprised of by physical and mental examinations. He was under no illusion that he would be the best fighter in class, but he knew that with effort he could easily sky rocket as the most intelligent. As long as he tried his best, and stayed calm throughout the process he was confident that he would be able to shine. "Alright!" he said before reopening the hand seal scroll and began copying the Rat symbol yet again. He remembered that when he first started his studies that he had momentarily gotten the seal wrong, it was a mistake that he definitely did not want to make in the academy.

"Inu, or Dog' is the eleventh seal in the list of common hand seals." as he continued to practice, Sorain began to string the hand seals together, much like he did before. However, this time he decided to challenge himself. He first closed his eyes, and began to form each seal in order without even looking. Granted, he would not be able to watch his own hands to see rather or not he had actually formed the seal properly, Sorain more so wanted to test his ability to chain hand seals on command with nothing but his own mind as a reference image.

Sorain Orasakai Lv 1 ||| Hp 9 ||| Cp 10 ||| MHp 9 ||| After finishing his round of self study, Sorain decided that it was time for him to tackle the formal homework that his mother had written out for him. It was a blank sheet of paper with each hand seal drawn to the left. On the right was a line, which was left blank for him to write down the name of said seal. Every mourning his mother and father would look over the homework that they had assigned, it was part of the agreement that he and Sai had made with them for being allowed to join the academy. Their words were, "If you are going to walk the path of a ninja, you are going to do it properly." Coming form a home where both their parents were simply crasftmen, who made their living as common citizens of the shinobi village, Sorain and Sai were not nessicarily required to enter the academy. However, due to simply growing up in a Shinobi village had already taken its toll on the boys personalities. They didn't shy from pain, nor did they run from danger. They were exited for the thrill of what adventures could be found outside the village walls. The desire to be strong and famous was amazingly appealing, so much so that even now, as a young child Sorain often day dreamed of his first battle. Pulling out a pencil that he had left scattered across his desk from before, Sorain began to write down the names of the seals as they appeared on the left. The first was obviously dragon, he was sure because it was the exact same seal that he had tested Sai on, who had miserably failed to guess. The thought made Sorain smirk briefly. The nest one was rather tricky, at first he thought that it could have been Tiger. The primary features of the tiger seal were extended middle and index fingers pointing upwards towards the chin. However, in this case, there was more subtle features that made the difference. In this case only the right handed fingers were extended, signaling to him that he was now dealing with the sealed known as Hitsuji, or Ram. "Some of the seals are dangerously similar....I hope Sai studies..."Deep down, he didn't want to see his brother fail. Even if it would mean that he would be recognized as the smarter sibling. What would be the fun of going on ninja missions if his brother wasn't able to experience them as well? Being a great shinobi, it was a dream that they both shared. Achieving one without the other seemed like a hollow victory. Sighing deeply he decided that the best thing that he could do would be to excel enough for the both of them so that if need be he could simply carry Sai along.
