Kitty suddenly looked quite mischievous, looking sideways into the store to see if there were any customers. There wasn't, and so she took her chances. "Well, I suppose if you're my stalker, it isn't as creepy as it should be." She walked over to him and without warning kissed him. "Sometimes you're so genuine that I can't believe you're real." Which, he hadn't been, but now that he was... gosh, it was still so confusing.

Samson smiled distantly, looking down a bit before shrugging, looking a tad solemn. After a moment he furrowed his brow and apologized. "Ah- I'm sorry It's just still a bit odd for me to hear that..." He looked down at his shoes, pushing his hand through his hair. "And I still dont feel very genuine..." he sighed, looking up at her with his dark eyes.
"I still have a few old business deal under various identities I've been trying to get rid of in the background and its not going very well...though i only have a few left...but still...." He shook his head. "...Kitty this is hard for me..." He confided, looking up at her with honest hurt in his eyes form whatever was in the recesses of his mind. "I've never...lived my own life...and what I've done my entire life is...like an addiction...I-..I still dont know if you should be around me Kitten..." He leaned against the doorway and stared down at the ground. "..." His mind was reeling, that was obvious, but he said nothing, the silence and his face saying all the words for him.
After a few more moments of kissing, Jess pulled back, knowing she was charged and things were getting heated. "..so-...What do we do now Alex?" She asked her big blue eyes heavy with emotion as she physically kept herself from kissing him, so that maybe they could get a few words in before she started up again.

Kitty didn't know what to do. It hadn't happened in such a long time. Even when faced with the destruction of her own shop, she developed a plan of action. There was a phone number to call, people to have come over... but this? Sam was the only one who could possibly know what was the right thing to do. Kitty walked over quietly to him and took his hand. "Hey... whatever you have to do. But... I'd rather you stayed safe. Don't put yourself in danger for me." Goodness knows he'd done that enough, even if it did lead to the destruction of her property.
Meanwhile, upstairs, Alex was also at a loss. There was being a gentleman like his mother taught him, and there was taking everything he wanted out of Jess. He loved her, all of her, and he wanted all of her, too. But they weren't alone in the building, and the shop wasn't closed yet downstairs. "Ah..." he breathed. "I... I don't know. You have to tell me what we should do next." There. Leave everything up to her and he would go along with it. That was keeping his honor, wasn't it?

Samson smiled distantly, eyes closed, as he lifted her hand to his cheek, then down to kiss it gently. "I'll be fine...It's just frustrating is all... thank you for putting up with me until then though..." He tried to joke, slipping his other hand about her waist.
"You're a lovely woman Kitty..." His eyes were suddenly very serious as he made it seem like he really wanted her to know that..
Jess's face was flushed though she knew this wasn't the time or place. "...How about a drink?" She pulled back reluctantly. "Or- ah. there's a long weekend coming up. No classes for a few days...if you have some time off... We should...celebrate. Go somewhere special. Try last night again maybe, only I promise I'll be better company..." She smiled sheepishly, wandering what he'd think of such an idea.

"You just gave me chills when you said that." Kitty looked down at her feet with a small shrug. He was one of few men who had made her feel like she was stuck in a story of her very own. Every day life was enough for some people to write about and make immortal, but she wanted something fantastical. Kitty wanted something she could remember, something people would say could only happen in a movie. That was what life should have been highlighted by, instead of a regular shade of existence. When she brought her eyes back up to his, though, they were smiling. "It's not really putting up with you. You've done so much for me ever since the incident that I can't complain one bit."
Alex had to laugh. They were as awkward as teenagers suddenly, but instead of it making his insides squirm uncomfortably, he was finding it rather amusing. "A long weekend, eh? Yeah, I think that sounds good. Fancy food, candles..." If it meant he could get Jess to smile instead of the constant worry she'd been feeling, Alex would do everything all over again. Only that time, as Jess had said, they'd be better company for each other and wouldn't fight.

Samson smiled softly, pecking her forehead sweetly. "Even if it was my fault..." He sighed, giving her a little squeeze. "But its all history now...All that occupies my mind is tomorrows dinner which i promise will be wonderful~" He winked. "I was thinking...maybe you should come by my place. I'll show you where I'm staying now and catch you up on the true me. Of course I'll be more than delighted to get to know more of you as well..."
Samson had to laugh at himself. He felt so proper and official when he invited her anywhere. That was going to be a hard habit to break since he had played so many gentlemen during his life, it came almost naturally now.
"And I'll help you cook." Jess announced determinedly with steady but happy eyes.
Jess was determined to make it nice. She had been so hungover, stressed, exhuasted, emotionally taxed the last few weeks, that she knew she owed Alex a treat of a home cooked dinner followed by laughing and cuddling perhaps. She knew she had a lot of making up to do.

Kitty noticed that little shift to the gentlemanly state, and had to keep herself from laughing. Maybe that really was a part of him. After all, he hadn't made any kind of move on her or asked anything of her unless it was painfully simple. She was enough simply being, and that was a beautiful thing. "That sounds wonderful. But you'll have to pick me up here. I'm nervous going out on my own."
"You can cook?" Alex said, putting a hand on his chest in mock surprise. "And here I thought you just knew all the best food joints in town." It was all in good fun, though, as he swept her up in his arms for a hug. God, he loved this girl. He loved her, he loved her, he loved her. Sometimes he didn't know why and other times he just knew.

Sam nodded eagerly. "Of course. I have thought about that a bit myself...I'd be more than glad to pick you up." He smiled. Really he hated whenever she went out on her own. It wasn't that he had to be there or had to know where she was, more of just that she was out alone. Veratia was a dangerous place, ecspecially at night. Though he knew Kitty was careful, he was still protective over her.
Jess laughed as he embraced her, feeling as giddy as a young girl suddenly. "Yes I can cook!" She laughed once he loosened his hold a bit. "Well...a little at least. For fun I'd help with dinner, and since I've moved out here, well..I've gotten accustomed to preparing my own meals. Especially with Kitty and I having different schedules and restaurants getting pricey after a few nights out..." She sighed but smiled still up at him, hoping suddenly she was a good enough cook to satisfy his pallet. She was no chef for sure but could follow a recipe fairly easily.
