An immense surge of chakra exploded from Kai's body just as the kunai was about to slit Kai's throat, there is no way the Gobi would let himself die, for if the boy died than so would he. He would unfortunately protect this boy until he would be able to control him fully. Using the surge of chakra, the kunai was forced back, pushing Riku back several feet. The gobi's chakra healed Kai and would awaken him in order to fight back.

Yamatano had witnessed this whole spectacle: The sealing of the demon into Kaizen, the Mizukage passing out and being carried off, especially the part where Riku was going to slit Kaizen's throat. Withdrawing his daggers, Yamatano dashed to the boy, even though he wasnt a speed ninja, his Hatake blood gave him more than enough speed to bring this kid down. Knocking him to his back and pinning him there with one knee on his chest, Yamatano angled his daggers so that if he slashed, it would form a perfect X across his throat. "I know what you were thinking, I know what you were about to do," he said through gritted teeth, the killing intent pouring out of him. "You thought you would kill the demon, thought you were gonna be a hero. Kaizen is NOT the demon, he is the demon's prison, its unwilling prison. He is the true hero here, and if you try anything like that again, make no mistake, I will not hesitate next time."

Kai's eyes flickered open as he regained consciousness, he lifted himself into a sitting position as he struggled to remember what had happened. He then jumped to his feet and searched the area as he cried out, "The Gobi!" Looking around he saw that the shinobi of the village were moving about calmly collecting the wounded and the dead. Confused he looked to Yamatano and said, "What happened? Is it over? And why are you on top of him?"
(p.s. I would prefer if you didn't tell me the Gobi's inside of me for now, if you can't think of a good reason not to tell me that's fine, but yeah I want my character to find out when he's in some kind of danger or something)

Riku stared back at Yamatano with cold eyes. The temperature around him dropped dramatically. "Nothing." he replied to Kaizen while still staring at Yamatano. "Just a little disagreement about how we should've dealt with the Gobi, that's all."

"Dammit," thought Yamatano, "He doesnt know of the Gobi inside him. It's not my place to tell him." "Well, this kid here used the dumbest strategy in the world, leaping into Gobi's throat, and Lord Mizukage has to save his a**! Then, he goes and mouths off about him, saying he couldve done it himself. I'm showing him his place." He then quickly leaned in close to Riku, and whispered "Play along. Dont tell him of the seal."

Kai looked at them disapprovingly and then said, "this hardly seems like a time to be fighting amongst ourselves, why aren't you helping gather the woun..." Kaizen stopped for a moment then looked down at his body, not even a scratch, he thought to himself, confused. Last thing I remember I was being tossed around by that monsters tornado, how am I even standing?, Kai continued to check his body for signs of injury, but the only part of him that seemed to have been affected were his clothes which were slightly burnt. Looking up at Yamatano once more, a confused expression on his face, he asked, "did someone already heal me? Last thing I remember I was being thrown out of that weird tornado thing."

LT crawled out from under some rubble and scanned across the field, "Looks like it worked." LT sighed as he brushed dust and debris off of him. LT and his forces took most of the damage from the attack and he was lucky to be alive. He rolled over a log next to him and pulled a trapped chunnin out from under it. Now would be the long process of recovering from this massacre of his troops. 63 mist shinobi entered in battle, and from a quick glace he saw 20 or 30. Less than half, he saw medical teams run across the field and saw other fellow jounins and chunnins help wounded comrades.   LT shook his head in dismay at the battle field and flames as he noticed several of his students so he walked up to them and noticed that Kaizen was the one the was now sealed with the demon. As LT approach Kai on the ground he knelt before the boy, an ANBU put a hand on his shoulder and whispered something in his ear. LT nodded and said something no one else could hear. After several seconds of conversation the ANBU disappeared.   LT stood and scratched his nose under his kakashi like mask and his brushed his white hair that was covered in dust. He pointed to Yamatano and Riku. "You two take this boy to the hospital, immediately."

"As you wish, LT sensei." Yamatano said as he got up, but not before leaning over Riku again and whispering "I'll be watching you, kid, pull something remotely suspicious and well, I'll be able to practice my dagger techniques." He then got off of Riku and walked over to Kaizen to help him up.

Riku's icy cold eyes seemed to glare at Yamatano. He glanced at LT. "Unfortunately I have other business to attend to beside the well-being of a simple student. I believe it only takes one man to carry another." With that, Riku left the ruins of the academy behind him.

LT stood there dumbfounded.... that boy has some nerves. Clearly there is going to be problems in the future. No respect, none at all. LT sighed, very well. One more disrespectful act and this place will earn its title "Bloody Mist". All LT wanted was for the boys to help each other out, and get checked out at the hospital, but i guess that was too much to ask for.

(you know i'm not actually on the ground anymore)
Kai shook his head and said, "I'm fine really we should worry about everyone else, besides I want to make sure my parents are ok." Kai then motioned for Yamatano to come with him as he made his way amongst the wounded mist shinobi, doing his best to help as much as he could. But as he moved along he couldn't help but notice some of the villagers giving him wary looks, he looked down once more to check to make sure he really was ok, and then shrugged as he continued to help as much as he could.

As he followed Kaizen, Yamatano noticed even more the looks people were giving him. Those ignorant fools, thinking he WAS the Gobi. They didnt know anything about it, they just thought he was a monster. Yamatano resolved that if anyone tried to attack him, he would show them that he was not dangerous. At least, not compared to what he would do to them.
