"So where do we go from here? igot nothing to do and nothing but time to kill." the pun was not really intended, it just came to him naturally

Nika nodded her head silently. This was going to be difficult with this archer behind them the whole time. With farest cover, it'd be harder to see him but that meant it also would be harder for him to hit them. She darted off after Rai, staying at his pace before they finally exited the gates of Dru'Kai.

We have to move to the dense parts of the forests. I can finish examining you later...

She looked down at her feet as they flew across the final parts of pavement, her golden eyes darting across the gravel.

I'm sorry I hurt you...I-I forget who I'm with sometimes and...I'm sorry...

Iliad looked at Sabine and for the first time really felt like he was talking to someone he just met. The thought irked him slightly. "I'm happy you had a good time, thats all I wanted, and you don't have to thank me for my kindness, it comes naturally I guess." Iliad took a few more steps, quietly listening to Sabine when her last comment sparked an idea in Iliad, he looked at her and they locked eyes for a second making him smile. "You're wrong, its your house, I have too many as it is so I'm giving this one to you, on one condition, you have to actually open up to me, let me in without reserve or reservation." He smirked and raised his hands slightly, as if to calm her down before she said something, "I'm not asking you to love me, just to trust me, let me into that little circle you have that you won't let anyone into." Iliad figured he was being pushy, but true friendship and companionship was a small price to pay for a house, atleast thats what Iliad thought.
"So, what do you say, you think you can do it, or will you be looking for another land lord to get a house from?" Iliad asked her with a cocky smile.

Sabine stopped and looked at Iliad as he spoke about the house. He... was giving it to her? She was speechless again, her eyes just wide. But then... she heard the condition. She'd have to open up. She bit her lip, her eyes looking at him in almost a pained way. Bad things happened when she opened herself up. She couldn't stop herself though when she found her head nodding up and down. She closed her eyes and looked down letting out a breath.

"I can't just... let it go all at once." She said quietly. "I've lived with these walls for so long that... they're a part of me. Things happen... when I let them come down, and I'm just afraid that it'll happen again. I'll... I'll need some time before everything comes out."

Sabine looked back up at Iliad and smiled a small smile.

"Well you already know my name, so I don't think there is anyone else more qualified to be my landlord."

Iliad saw her second of indecision and then her nod. He smiled, victorious once again. He then listened to her speak, it sounded like a warning of future pain and suffering, but he paid it no mind. He wasn't going to let her drag him down again, and he would be doing everything in his power to push her spirits back up. He smiled back at her when he seen her sad, little smile and put his arm around her shoulder. Then with his free hand he swiped slowly at the sky, as if displaying everything infront of them. "Its me and you against the world, I'll watch after you and you'll watch after me in this dog eat dog town we like to call Dru-Kai." He said in an overly dramatic voice.
He then let go of her with a smirk, "And don't worry, I've got nothing but time to wait for you to let me in, I'm just happy that I'm atleast on the waiting list." Iliad smirked and took a few quick steps ahead of her, "Come on, its this way, in the middle class district." He said, motioning with his arm for her to follow.

Sabine blushed and smiled a little more as she felt his arm wrap around her shoulders pulling her close. She couldn't help but giggle as he spoke.

"That was good. Ever thought of being on the stage in a theatre instead of just living in the district?" She asked with a smirk, her one hand reaching up to pat his on her shoulder. "I could picture you doing Shakespeare. You know... dressed all up in drag."

She bit her lip and got out from under his arm before jogging a little ahead.

"Race to to the district?" She said before rushing off ahead.

Having searched for the princess and her companion for while Lynda groaned. "Damn it all to hell!" Finally accepting the fact she wasn't going to fine Princess Nyx any time soon, she came to the conclusion the Order of Light were going to need to meet. It wasn't surprising that the princess ran away, everyone knew she was a magic handler, it wasn't like she was ashamed of it. Matter of fact no one was ashamed of it until the King's declaration. Sighing, Lynda figured she needed a break, running around the city took a lot out of her.

Iliad laughed at Sabine, "Oh really, are you just imagining that because you know you want me but you're still playing for the wrong team?" He then felt her duck under his arm and run ahead. He smiled and nodded his head at her proposal, This girl keeps playing with fire, who races someone like me? He smiled and let her have a head start, after a few seconds he ducked into an alley and bounded up the walls until he was at the roof tops. He then began running straight for the district. Not having to worry about crowds, or the labrynth style layout of the Theatre district gave him a clear advantage, that and the fact that Iliad prided himself on his speed, even his gift was related to it. He bounded over a gap inbetween buildings and continued on his way, doing his best to keep an eye out for Sabine, just incase she needed him, whether it be because she was being harrased or just got lost.

<..:::Ira:::..>

Ira shrugged at his question. "I have nothing to do at all." she said as she looked at him. "I really only stopped here to Get my sword sharpened." she said to him. Ira reached up and pushed her glasses back up onto the brim of her nose.

Sabine -o- Winters

Sabine laughed and took off, but after a while of running she glanced behind to see that no one was chasing her. She stopped and glared, looking around. Then she remembered the roof tops. Rolling her eyes, she called out "You know that's cheating. I was expecting a foot race down here on the ground... without powers. If I wanted to be cruel I could do what you're doing and start singing..."

She sighed and started up running again heading toward the Middle Class District. It was a nice place, but one that she had never really seen. Her parent's had lived in... well, the lower class area. They weren't poor per say, but were below the normal person. She hadn't minded living there... being close to the fields where the farmers worked, and she was very close the forest. She'd have to go back there sometime... visit the places she did as a child.

Getting out of the Theatre district was much harder then she though. It's wasn't necessarily busy... but there were a lot of side streets that were confusing her. Nevertheless... she had made it out in one piece and was ready to face the smirking Iliad as she did.

""You're such a cheater..." She said again with a smirk.

Iliad smiled as he heard Sabine call up to him, "Remember who you're dealing with, its in my nature..." He then felt stupid for saying that, "With simple things though, I would never think about cheating on something important, you know, like a person or som--" Iliad fell straight down a gap and landed on his back, looking up at the sky from the ground. Iliad lay there, one half pissed at himself, one half overjoyed the window sill broke his fall at about half way down. He stood up and hopped around a few times to make sure he didn't break anything other than his pride. "Less talking next time Iliad, less talking more running, can't win her over arm in a sling..." Iliad then chuckled half way up to the roof tops. "Who said I was trying to win anyone over." Iliad began running again, even with the fall he was still ahead of Sabine.
Iliad made it to the Middle class District and waited for Sabine to come around the corner, but it was taking a bit longer than he thought. "Maybe she should have sung..." He thought out loud with a smirk, as if on cue she came round the corner. "Cheated, who me?" He said pointing at himself. He laughed softly and began to walk, "Come on, its close to here, only a few blocks."
After a couple of minutes walking they came upon a little house that looked... exactly like the two houses on either side of it. He walked up the steps and climbed onto the roof rather quickly. He walked to the back of the roof and turned over a rock, under which was his key. He walked back to the front of the house and hopped down from the roof. "Well, we're here, home sweet home." He said walking up to the door and opening it. Inside was the exact layout of the safe house, only much neater with a few extra rooms, those rooms being the kitchen and dining room. Iliad took off his things and placed them at the work table he had here and sat down at the sofa, waiting for Sabine to settle in.

Sabine nudged him as he smirked and gave an almost surprised expression at her cheating comment. Iliad was right when he said a few blocks... very close to where the Theatre District was. She had to count and remember the numbers though... since every house looked the same. When they entered, she felt her jaw drop again. Sure it was like the other house, but it was still very nice. Almost... warmer? She walked in behind Iliad, her eyes scanning each place. She walked through the dining room to the kitchen and smiled. Finally... a place to make tea. That was the one thing about the taverns... was that you had to buy everything.

She turned around and looked at Iliad sitting on the couch, almost waiting for her to come sit next to him. She smirked, and walked over to him before winking and heading to the bedroom. She sat on the bed, and sighed before falling back. Much more comfortable then the tavern.

"I guess it's okay." She said with a smirk on her face. "I mean it's no palace, but it's alright."

She looked up and saw him staring at her almost in shock. She assumed that he was mocking her.

"I'm joking. It's great. Better then I had considering I was jumping from one pub to another. Thank you..."

Iliad couldn't help but feel all warm and fuzzy inside as Sabine walked around the house, inspecting everything. It made him feel good that he could atleast get her someplace to stay. Iliad watched as Sabine came over, shifting slightly so that she would have more room, but instead she... winked at him and walked to the bed room. Iliad was shocked, She just gave me the universal sign for 'Come and get me', Iliad thought as he stood up. If all I had to do was provide a roof over her head to get with her I would have done so sooner. Iliad thought to himself jokingly, thinking that he must have read the wink wrong. When Iliad entered the room, however she was laying on the bed, as if waiting for him. Iliad was shocked again, he didn't even hear what she said first, something about it not being as good as a palace. Iliad heard what she said next however, "Don't thank me, I was just helping out a friend." He said in a cool, even voice, leaning against the wall next to the door. He didn't trust himself to lay in the same bed with her, not after all of her subtle hints which could have easilly been misconstrued. No, if she really wants me she is going to have to make it crystal clear... Iliad thought to himself, feeling slightly hot under the collar, but desparate to use caution in this situation, just in case he was, infact reading Sabine wrong.

She smiled and scooted back so she was near the headboard her head in the pillows. She sighed and closed her eyes.

"You know... it doesn't matter how many times you tell me not to thank you... I'm going to thank you. I was brought up proper, and learned that if someone does something nice to you, like takes you to dinner, gives you a home and saved her life today... you say thank you. Deal with it."

She sat her head up a little and saw him standing at the door with his arms crossed. She bit her bottom lip and shifted a little so there was room for him to sit if he wanted. She didn't expect to get out of this bed anytime soon... because it was so comfortable.

"I do have one question though? Do I have to worry about the sheets, and ask how many women you had in here? Let me know where a spare set is, just in case I feel something... interesting." She said in a playful teasing manner, a laugh coming though her lips.

Iliad smiled, "Alright, you're welcome, happy?" He said with a smirk. He was still in the same spot at the wall, even when she moved up to the headboard. Iliad bit his bottom lip and started to bounce his left heel, maybe his one and only nervous tell. Why is she acting like this, all... nice, not to say she wasn't nice before, but that wink, why the hell did she wink... Then again I was pretty damn suav at the resturant, I mean that line about the silver would have been enough to get any sane girl hot and bothered. Iliad stole a glace up from the floor at Sabine. They locked eyes for a second and Sabine just bit her bottom lip and made for room for him on the bed. Iliad looked back down and doubled the speed with which he was bouncing his heel. What the hell was that?! He thought to himself, boiling with lust that he was fighting to keep bottled up.
Iliad then looked up again when he heard her talk, "Huh, no, you don't have to worry about that, this was my home, I wouldn't ever." He smiled an awkward and even... shy smile. "In fact, you're the only other person to see this house." He told her. Iliad returned back to bouncing his heel, not even wanting look up at her, fearing she might be doing something else enticing but too vague to act upon. If she wanted to she would ask, calm down Iliad, you're reading too much into this... He told himself.
