Snowing Rainbows "And do you think if you broke a horse, it would make it any less worse?" She opened the door with her key, and stepped inside, taking off her slip-ons and replacing them with slippers. "Those black one's over their are for guest." She pointed to a black pair in the corner. After placing her slip-ons in their own little corner, she walked into the warm kitchen, the smell of a triple berry pie being made. "Mother." Chimed Chloe. "I found a strange walking the street's along with his horse. I suggested he stay with us for the time being."
Her Mother sighed, facing her daughter. "Sweetheart." She began. "I love you dearly, and support you for everything I can. But do you know this stranger at all?" She seemed worried, but her own voice never raised.
"In fact, I do." Chloe retorted. "His name is Sabin, or as most would know him, Blood."
Her mother looked at her daughter vaguely. "Alright...He is welcome to stay, but he must help around the house, along with you. And, he must go along with you to that new school."
Chloe smiled sweetly, embracing her mother tightly, then letting go to peek out of the door way. "You can come in now." She said blankly. well, breaking the horse is more like bonding with it, if you cannot match the horses mind and follow it's movements perfectly, then you will be thrown off *Sabin whistled to steel, a high pitched sound that told him to stay calm, then he entered the house, removing his riding boots and putting on the slippers, then he followed Chloe into the room and bowed his head to her mother* Sorry if my being here causes any inconveniences *he said roughly, not used to being around strangers*

Chloe's mother smiled warmly. "Don't worry, Hon. Chloe is such a diligent worker, we make just enough to live comfortably."
Chloe smiled, sitting down in a mahogany chair, which squeaked when she did. Chloe placed her hands on her lap, playing with her thumbs.
Her mother returned to her cooking, making the sauce for the pie. "If it gets to quiet for you, Chloe can always show you to her room."
Chloe sighed, placing one hand to hold her head up.

Chloe sighed, placing one hand to hold her head up. Perhaps I can help make some money by offering rides on Steels back around the town, to help pay for lodging and I think I'd like to see the room, if Chloe doesn't mind

Fitted comfortably in her chair, Chloe looked up at the ceiling.

Raising her head slightly, her dark teal eyes studied him. "Yes. We recently moved here, since my Mother wanted me to receive a higher education." Her long dark chestnut hair curled over her soft cheekbones. Her plump lips parted slightly, heaving out a sigh. "I'm going to have to pay for you as well, so I'm going to have to get to work early tomorrow and explain this to my Boss..." Her head fell back again, her eyes closed. Chloe, for a moment in the bight sunlight that flooded into the room form her window, glowed slightly, giving off an almost unearthly tone.

"Ok then." Chloe agreed. She laid a single hand upon her brow, covering her semi-wide forehead. Her ceiling had stick-on stars, that glowed in the dark. She loved Stars. They were the one thing, in the crowded city, that kept her calm.

Snowing Rainbows "Ok then." Chloe agreed. She laid a single hand upon her brow, covering her semi-wide forehead. Her ceiling had stick-on stars, that glowed in the dark. She loved Stars. They were the one thing, in the crowded city, that kept her calm.

Her small figure made it easy for her to hug her knees, and to rest her head on them as well. "So, tell me, What brings you to Nanjing?" *He sighed heavily* Funny how both of your statements go together, my voice never shows emotion other then anger anymore, not since I lost them the day I ran from home. My father he...was a worthless piece of s**t my mother left me with my father the second I left her body, and I ran that ranch on my own pretty much from the day I was old enough to walk. *Sabin growled under his breath, clenching his fists at the memories*

Pity. but it wasn't the normal pity. It was something between sadness, and understanding. Removing herself from her chair, Chloe walked over to Sabin, and placed her arms around his neck. "That's horrible..." Even if she didn't know him well enough, a hug was defiantly in order here.

[[ Gtg...Luv you ♥ ]] *Sabin's muscles jumped beneath her touch, no one had ever hugged him, everyone had always done their best to avoid touching him, for a stranger to do so shocked him from his anger. Not knowing how he should react, Sabin stood motionless as his anger subsided* he's the reason I became Blood *Sabin muttered*
