Kyo simply stepped out of the way. I had managed to prop myself up on the fountain. My breathing was labored but nothing important at the moment.

My eyes darted through the dark scanning for Kyo. I couldn't feel his power anymore but I had been decisive before. I nodded and pulled myself up onto the ledge not letting him know how very little I could move any part of my body.

I ducked my head."I'm sorry." I focused on the grass in the distance. "The poison with be gone in a few hours and I'll be able to move freely." I focused on the ground to afraid that if he looked he'd realize how truly terrified I was of Kyo and how close Alex came to being gone.
((Okay so Rose has a stoker thats a high power demon and he came here and Alex fought him off. Rose got hurt.))
