"Honestly why do they all have to fly! If they were simply on the ground it'd be so much easier.." bad guys and flying about, it all seemed to go hand in hand, as if evil were granted greater gifts then the good guys just to tip the odds enough to make it interesting. Daskri could even imagine some great ominous god looking down and laughing at the difference in powers, har har har...
Grinning slightly, knowing that his bright attack had indeed caught at least some of seirs attention. His smile fading slightly as the scene unfolded and seir, the tricky water spirit managed to deflect a majority of his shots. Only able to spare a quick glance to Haveni and the gun fighter, the pair thankfully, back safe and sound on the ground. Though Haveni herself was starting to look a bit worse for ware..were any of them okay? Whatever had taken place before his arrival had taken quite a toll on the wind wielder and her previous captives..
Blue and green eyes widening at the new attack that came his way. Gasping in slight awe as he braced himself for the hit, knocked hard into the sand with a hit that made his blond head spin. The wall of water was more like a wall of cement, one that left a creature feeling half drowned and spluttering..not to mention covered in soggy sand.."Oish.." rubbing his head gently as the water began to recede, coughing up annoyed bits of the salty wet attack.."How annoying.." and still he was after the wind woman! "Seir! Your a jerk do you know this!" the green constellation hissed, brushing sopping blond locks out of his face. Soaked paintbrush a whurr across the damp and muddy sand beneath him. A small but muddy looking creature beginning to form. The thing crudely drawn with a pair of large black eyes and a spitting mouth, the glow of paint that brought it to life swirling across its features. Gurgling as it aimed at seir and began to spit mud balls at the flying demon.
Just because he was seeing stars didn't mean he'd be kept out of the fight..

Her breath was labored, the pain coming in swells like the waves of the ocean. The world seemed to spin around her, buildings, Constellations, and the sky all blurring into one massive globe of color. She clenched her teeth, her jaw aching from the pressure. Closing her eyes, she once again forced the pain away. Now was not a good time to be distracted.
Her eyes widened as she saw the volley of arrows fly towards Seir, who brushed the arrows away as easily if they were a vexing cloud of gnats. Could she possibly have an ally? She searched the surrounding area, the bright greens and blonds of the Constellation standing out in the dismal scene. He was wielding what appeared to be a... paintbrush. She shrugged off her doubts - help was help.
A flash of movement out of the corner of her eye was all the warning she had to Seir's attack. She shot upward, a concentrated jet of air beneath her thrusting her towards the sky. Seir's razor-sharp claws passed inches beneath her. She would need to be more careful.
Noctis's screams distracted her, causing her to tear her gaze away from Seir and move it to Haveni. The pain was obvious in her face, even from this far of distance. Something was terribly, terribly wrong. Something horrendously bad was coming. She needed to end this now.
She looked downward, focusing her gaze on the voluminous black cloak that was Seir. Just as she was tensing her muscles to strike, a ball of mud flew through the air between the two warring Constellations. She looked in the direction where the projectile had come from. There stood the paintbrush Constellation, some sort of earthen creature standing next to him. That man sure had an interesting way of helping.
She refocused, clenching the dagger in her hand tighter. With a brief tensing of her muscles, she shot downward, arm outstretched. The dagger glinted dangerously in the moonlight. It's destination was obvious: the mass of black fabric below.

Amusement lit the golden eyes and another low chuckle escaped the Constellation. His opposing element. Haveni, or more likely the idea of possibly finding Ruin, must have had him thoroughly distracted once he reached the shore for him to have remained oblivious to this child. She seemed slightly ill at ease being in a social situation, but she wasn't backing down. Azra'iel found himself charmed by her stubbornness and sought to keep the conversation light.
"A 'little shadow' in truth then," he mused aloud, a slightly more genuine smile ghosting across his lips as he knelt; offering a hand to the little luck homunculus that accompanied the girl. "and I suppose that would make you Kiru then... I can't say I've seen many homunculi lately. I'm glad they still exist, especially those of your ilk my friend; it seems our world could use a bit of luck."
He wondered if the creature would even deign to approach him. Remaining as he was, in a crouch, he was on a level with the twilif. Staying there, elbows resting on his thighs, Azra'iel looked once again toward the burning inn. As a tall plume of brilliant orange flame rose anew, he suspected the building might be close to collape. It had been dry and the structure was older wood... but he couldn't see how a blaze of that intensity and moving with that kind of speed could have started unassisted. Sensing rapidly rising swells of raw elemental power, Azra'iel began to suspect he should move toward the conflict whether he desired it or not.
"Well Miss Rylia, whether we will it or no... it appears something in our world will change this night. Shall we go see if it will have any affect on our destinies?"
When the building shook again, Ramial had been thrown backwards and his foot slipped off the top step. Ever the survivalist, the twilif managed to tuck himself into a ball and experienced a painful tumble down the thankfully short flight of stairs. Coming to a stop when he hit the front desk, the boy lay still for a moment, trying to decide if he really wanted to stand up. He hurt so much, inside and out, that he could not really take stock of his injuries. Rasping out a ragged groan, he forced himself to stand and saw that there was still a small path to the main door... clear of both debris and fire; for the moment anyways. Unconsciously, he scooped up his lantern, now devoid of rope, and lying beside the shockingly intact desk. A creak and a hiss was Ramial's only warning before a falling beam remedied that. Embers scattered, swirling wildly in the fire-born air currents, as the boy managed to scamper out the front of the building and into the chaos and confusion of the crowd.
Stumbling into the street, he was knocked over by the remnants of what must have been some sort of freak tidal wave. Rolling with the blow, he found himself near the white constellation he'd seen brush by earlier when the dark constellation had held him aloft in his claws. He heard the dark voice again, only this time the bloodlust in it sent shivers down his spine. As he lay in the mud, a battered child curled around a battered lantern, Ramial's eyes grew wider and more panicked watching the conflict escalate above.

Rylia could only blink as she looked at the light constellation. He sure did chuckle a lot. Or was those just sounds he liked making from his throat? As curious about it as she was, she found the constellation, Azra'iel much more interesting. It was a strange feeling. She felt so...heavy and he seemed so light although she was surely smaller then he was. Their height was proof of that, no doubt. She wondered what he was thinking...again, since he hadn't said anything for..just about a minute.
At the little shadow comment, she couldn't help but grin. "well, I won't be a 'little shadow' forever you know! I'll be big soon and be able to do lots of stuff and understand a lot more things!" she said without realizing she had in fact said that all out loud before looking down and away for a second unsure of how to recover from an outburst like that.
Kiru had been standing next to Rylia the whole time, watching her as she interacted with this...stranger. As much as he'd like to move on, communication was important and it was about time she started communicating with others rather then him socially. But it seemed that this constellation wasn't bad like the group who destroyed that village some time ago. When Azra'iel had kneeled down, to what he figured was as low as he could bend down without getting on his stomach or on his knees bending over, he was a little surprised. But despite that, all he did was sit down and look this Azra'iel right back in the face. "Thats right. I'm surprised you gave me my room. If you had gotten any closer, I might have just attempted to bite an ear or a finger off. Don't get the wrong idea though. I've merely learned that through my life I can't trust everyone" he said as he tapped his tail against the sand, his expression neutral.
For a few seconds, he remained quiet before he continued. "I assume your curious why I would stand by a twilef with my natural way of behaving? Attachments are quite interesting. I merely wished to pay her back for helping me, but found myself too attached to leave her. She couldn't tell you left from right the first day I met her. Or even form a decent sentence for that matter" he said with a low chuckle and a grin, glancing at Rylia's grinning expression next to him. "However, I must agree that there aren't as many as us as I'd like their to be. I don't see how any of you get through the day without a daily dose of it. But seeing as you know this, I would assume you don't want to get on my bad side either. Wouldn't want me to curse whatever luck you're holding onto isn't that right?" he said quite confidently just before the constellation glanced over in the direction they had seen the smoke.
Rylia had a grin plastered on her face during Kiru's little performance but found herself looking at Azra'iel again when he asked her a question. She blinked. "our...destinies..?" she asked pondering on that question for a few seconds. "To the smoke...right?" she asked and looked at Kiru as he raced ahead of her.
"well don't just stand there! You want to go right? Let's get going!" Kiru called.
Rylia blinked and looked at Azra'iel before smiling somewhat for real this time. I"'d like to learn...to find out....what this destiny is...and what lies ahead. We'll wait. Some feet away from the main area. " she said before turning and running off after Kiru, following him only to arrive near the place in question in just a few minutes. Closer and closer...she moved until she could see a figure. She moved closer, and saw two more in her line of sight, but couldn't make any out and moved even closer, stopping next to a pole sticking out of the ground with a lantern on top of it. Probably for lighting the area at night. She could several figures this time....but what caught her eye...was that they were the very same group of people she'd seen ...that month ago.

Dizziness took over and Rosel clutched at the light post, Aeos's words twisted in the swirl of consciousness. How wonderfully useful she was being, at least Seir was apparently picking up the slack, and about time too. Seir, the wind-wench, torture, the words rang in her head and she tried to figure out why that particular situation was a bad one. Let Seir torture the wench for a bit, she deserved it for all the trouble she put them through.
Snorting, she balled her fists on either side of the pole. The lightning dancing about her and the pole confusedly stopped and retreated back into her body. What was she doing, standing about like a useless tree? There was an almost confusing amount of movement around her, it seemed everyone had something do to but her. Gritting her teeth, her eyes found Aeos again and locked onto him, a steady target to focus on. Maybe she did lose a lot of blood, but she certainly didn't need to be jumping about to be useful. The wench was still alive? Well, Rosel could fix that.
Her eyes alighted on Haveni and her plans suddenly rearranged. Or at least somewhat, Rosel had a clearer vision of the big picture now. Haveni was on the ground, in pain or confused, but the expression was all too familiar, even from far away. The other Haveni was coming, the one connected to Ruin. The dark one. Memories of the suffocating darkness invading her mind returned and Rosel slid behind the pole, leaning her head against the cool metal. She watched Haveni from around it, with her unveiled eye. Noctis was panicking, obviously not thinking again. He was worried about her, that ridiculous softness she had seen at the Lost Village had returned and their goals had once again been forgotten. Bringing Ruin was the plan, or going to it. After that...well what happened after that wasn't entirely clear, but the ride had been interestingly chaotic enough so far.
Let the idiot panic. Rosel purposefully drew her eyes away from the pair and moved them to the battle between Seir and the wind-wench. And apparently some sort of earth-based constellation. Not a very effective one, but just the same, two on one wasn't odds she liked, especially when it distracted Seir from getting to the torture part. Torturing the tramp was a goal Rosel could be in line with, at least until some progress was made with Ruin and Haveni.
A bolt shot out and hit a ball of mud, flash-drying it and blowing it to hunks of rock and dust. Rosel smirked as she set her sights on the green constellation. She felt fine, the blood loss was nothing major. she just needed to destroy something, that'd get her blood moving again. A second bolt lanced out, headed for the green and blond constellation apparently controlling the mud monster.

Melisande
Deep beneath the slick brown clay the awkward framework of the crow rose and fell steadily with her every breath. She found herself reluctantly alert, rapped on the skull by a pebble loosened as the very world about her seemed to tremble in its mania. Melis reached for the sun bleached femur from the growing pile and struck the side of her makeshift shelter with displeasure; she herself was unsure of the extent of her sleep, nor what exactly had occurred during her retreat. She paused, grinding her teeth as pressed an ear against the smooth clay wall; the noise from beyond had not only continued, it had grown.
The crow could hear the skeletons of structures tumble and burn as bodies scattered; she rolled her eyes at the state of affairs, life seemed to be set on destroying itself. With a fist Melis broke through the clay walls, tossing aside dried clumps of earth as she slithered into the open. As she crept forward she kept to all fours, her sharp fingers dragging her earnestly towards the milieu; a palm sunk heavily into a puddle of blood, the copper stink of it stung her nostrils and quickened her heart. She paused to taste the substance, deemed it fresh, and scurried up the rough trunk of an ancient oak.
From her new perch amidst the gnarled branches the spectacle seemed quite otherworldly, glorious blasts of color gleamed over the tangled masses as they lashed out against one another. Melis felt her excitement grow, the shameful twinges of pleasure burst through her blistering pelt in culmination. Froth flew from her lips as her body heat progressively rose, charring footprints into the surface of her supporting branch. Soon the branch was crumbling into chunks of ash and Melis was leaning forward, falling freely and eagerly into the ferment below.

Long since turning away from Noel, Ergo stared out over the city, which sprawled before him. In the distance, the burning building had all but since winked out and was now doubt but a charred ruin by now, a skeleton of blackened wood frames. He knew full well that whatever was going on down there was bigger than he had first imagined. And there WAS indeed something going on down there, somewhere in those snaking streets. A breed of wondering concentration slowly crept across his face, all the while deepening into a shade of misery. He felt... moronic for not being down there. It was an odd emotion he couldn't quite put his finger to the source of, but it was an emotion that he wouldn't be able to put out of his head for much longer. It was time to head down there, into the city.
Fingers snaked up to the amulet hanging around his neck. He stroked the untarnished surface of the thing, enjoying the feel as he ran his thumb along the grooves of the carved symbol upon it. Whatever was going on down there, it was dangerous, just as sure as it was going to be fascinating. Knowing Noel, he had brought Fulmine along. Having an extra man if things got ugly was going to be an advantage.
He broke his eyes from the cityscape and rose his voice, calling back to Noel, "Listen. It's time to go. I've got an EXTREMELY bad feeling about whatever's going on down there in the city. There's no reason to be sticking up here, twiddling our thumbs, when there might be trouble down there. If anything, we should round up anyone you've brought along and start heading out. Okay?" "Fascinating, simply fascinating!" Skryre was positively ecstatic over these developments.
On one hand, there was a showdown between the soul thief and another constellation he wasn't familiar with facing off against another unfamiliar one. Right as it was getting good, another one jumped in to help. It got better and better as it went. He giggled out loud at the sight of the critter the green one conjured, as it looked... well, downright silly! In any event, it was providing an excellent fight scene for future reference
The eye formed in the orb he held itself even seemed to bounce and turn up in an unseen smile.
And then, on the other hand, he watched as a gunslinger, an order he had thought long since perished on this level of the Tower, attended to the white one on the sand. By the look of pain on her face, Skryre could tell she was having a hard time, and this thought sobered him and pulled at the corners of his smile in the tiniest. The sentiment still made for fascinating material, and it was all pulled into the orb, which kept on staring its bemused glance at everyone and everything.

A feminine chuckle sounded behind Skryre. Behind him hovered the dragon-born, Eisha, an amused expression upon her face. "Find it interesting, do you~?" She was held aloft with blue spectral wings, the same that her usually-held lance was made of. However, only the wings were seen now.
Her eyes fell to the scene below them. The one she had spoken with seemed to have turned over a violent leaf upon the wind-child. "What foolish demeanor," she remarked, watching the violence unfold. She watched Daskri insult Seir, and motioned to him as well. "And this one may very well get caught up in more trouble than they desire. An interesting plot, indeed."
She watched as Noctis tended to Haveni, apparently trying to snap her out of her current state. "And that one doesn't even care of the impending pain he will feel, now, and..." her smile faded a little. "... in the future."
Her world was darkening, black bleeding into the colors around her, yet suddenly she could see Noctis's face in her vision, and feel masculine digits on her cheeks. She felt her heart soften for a few moments, her body calm. Her own hands began to raise slowly, fingertips brushing barely against his cheeks, as if to verify he was really there.
What was that in his eyes? Worry? Concern? Some shred of genuine care? Couldn't be. No. Definitely not. How dare he attempt to sway her, how dare he try to trick her so he could kill her!
Her hands quickly recoiled as if she had touched searing flame. The life in her eyes was gone, replaced by a growing fury and lifeless malice that slept inside her. Hands dropped lifelessly to her sides, and she only slowly lowered her head, staring into nothing.
Voices were swimming inside her mind again. He'll trick you, they'll trick you, they only wish to kill you again, lock you back up in the tomb you belong in.... Her own thoughts were helpless and small besides them. No, it's not true... Oh, it's true...you grievous little creature, it's so sad you don't realize that this world hates you... No, no...go away! We'll never go away, it was you who took us in you, willingly...you know the pain the world wants to inflict on you. Don't you want revenge? Protect yourself! S-stop it...don't make me remember such things...Stop it!
The world around them was growing darker and darker, as if the sky was suddenly removed from the world. Though Haveni's face had been expressionless for the most part during this moment, a thick tear escaped each eye, one after the other, and rolled down her cheek, wettening the fingers of Noctis which had still held her cheeks.
"I want..the world...to suffer." she whispered.

Was that a child...? Tiny brown soaked with water curled up in the mud..lantern feathers and all..it was surely a twilif. Daring to take a step closer, his attention drawn in so many directions as a small crackling noise shot up over his head, the sound of mud meeting lightning and frying. To say the least daskri was impressed if a bit peeved that his small creatures attack was thwarted.
Daskri's eyes narrowed as his attack was shot to dust, sweeping his gaze over the beach for whom had shot the lightning attack. The surprised constellations glare landed on that of rosel..The female looked a wreck, and also very frightening, dripping in blood and covered in what he could figure was ash and bits of a white bandage, her anger fixed on him. How Joyus. Dashing aside as the bolt of lightning was fired at him, watching as his small mud creature took the hit and exploded into bits of sopping earth, the magic the paint had instilled in it leaving as soon as it was destroyed. "Now now lookit what you've done" still daskri would rather sacrifice a thousand little creatures then have taken the hit directly. "You know my dear, and no offense I'm sure your lovely most of the time, but right now you don't quite look as if you should be fighting.." a haphazard grin on his face paint brush in motion once more "Then again maybe its just because your so darkly colored" a slingshot forming in his hands, taking aim at the furious looking woman and firing of hardened pellets of paint. Maybe if she got splashed with a brighter color she would look more beautiful!

Keanu looked lazily over his shoulder at Fulmine. He couldn’t blame him though, he knew this was going to hurt Cuire at first but in the end it was the best solution. “I’ll try to keep that in mind if I ever have the need to go back there then” his eyes then went to Fulmine’s arrow…now that was something he should be careful about “want to stick that arrow through my throat or heart now don’t you?” he sighed and looked at Cempa “Well…I don’t want to leave you two alone so I’ll escort you to the Temple ok?” he smiled at Azhure and Cempa, just as sweetly as ever “Oh I should take Epona with us!” he loked at Cempa “Stay here will you? I’ll come back for you in a second!” he turned around and walked to where he had his Epona. “Epona…you here darling?” he kept walking around. Keanu had made sure to hid her well on a wood shed near the beach
Cempa looked at both of them and shivered, taking a couple of steps back and dragging her sister with her “You really spend the day with him? Seems like he has a really really bad temper!” she pouted and looked back at Keanu as he talked to them “Temple? O sure!!! We…we’ll wait here!!” she then looked back to Azzy “We’ll be ok at the temple…right?” Shiningamisgirl "Charm charm charm! Hee hee I'm a charm! Special special charm charm charm It seemed that as long as she was near Alberon the her usul bitter expression was going to be replaced with a wide smile “Right youa re alberon, we are going to have a sleep over! Isn’t that nice?” still smiling contently she looked back at Dashiell “Thank you for offering me a place to stay, it’s been a long time since I last had a place to spend the night. “Oh and I don’t mind the little ones enthusiasm…he managed to put me in a good mood and I think I can keep up with all his energy “she sighed, took alberons hand and followed his father. She looked over her shoulder at the inn, a wicked smile in her face…alberon might had put he rin a good mood but she still loved destruction and chaos.

Engrossed by the scenes unfolding below him as he was, Skryre did not notice the dragon-born sneak up behind him. Or she might have appeared, as Skryre would later think. He wouldn't put it past her to be able to just materialize. He was startled, nonetheless, and a slight tremor ran through him as he turned to face Eisha. The scare was quickly forgotten, however, as he realized that she didn't intend to cut him in half or anything of the sort, like the ones down there no doubt would, if they could.
"Interesting? I find it absolutely enthralling~!" Grinning, almost like a child, he swept his eyes over Eisha. It didn't take long to recognize her. He'd seen her not ten minutes ago, in fact! "You were the one who was having the chat with our violent friend, the soul-thief!" At her comment, he giggled. She seemed to know much about the situation at hand. She would make for a perfectly excellent enricher to the information he was already gathering. "Foolish, perhaps, but still wondrous to watch~ The whole city is just abuzz with intriguing situations!"
The grin faded as he looked down at the gunslinger and the pained one on the sand. "But, he seems to be a gunslinger, descended from the Eld line itself, from the look of him... isn't he prepared for such a situation?" He shrank back a little, a little disgruntled. If a true gunslinger couldn't handle the girl, who could?

Claws intending to slice through skin and blood slid through the air harmlessly. The thief’s gaze slid upwards, following the flight of the purple-black blur as she shot upward to avoid his attack. He flung himself upwards in close pursuit just as Nashara came down; he already ready to twist away from the straight-lined path Nashara’s dagger wove. Seir was not deterred by the cold steel of the blade; rather it only seemed to encourage him to push himself onward.
Bang! Lightning crackled and hit a ball of mud.
Any contact that would have occurred was delayed as Seir was thrown off track as a couple more mud balls smacked themselves against the thief’s cape and body. Blinking in surprise, his mind refocused on Daskri Mal and hissed softly in distaste. He sucked out all the water from the mud, and watched with narrowed eyes as they crumbled almost harmlessly against his cape and dropped down to the ground. Anger flickered, still fueled with adrenaline, as he turned his attention back to Nashara.
A flash of black lightning from the corner of his eyes arced grimly in the air towards the green- skinned blond. Seir smirked, pleased, and snatched at the air with his fingertips as if plucking something as light as a feather. Water twisted in the air, drawn in as he called, wild and abrupt quite alike the emotions biting into him.
It churned in place for a moment before he flung the flood of water at Nashara.
Aeos headed off as soon as the lightning left Rosel’s fingertips, drawn to Noctis’ calls for help. He flitted through the air like an arrow, wings beating the air with powerful flaps. Skidding to a halt as his feet met sand, the ice constellation looked slightly disoriented as he peered down at the two crouched figures. They were injured, yes, that could be a cause for tears.
But, what was this strange foreboding feeling he was getting?
The ice constellation wanted to take several steps back, as there was nothing more dangerous than an unknown factor causing havoc. Then again, this wasn’t very unknown, was it? His pale-eyed gaze regarded Haveni, watched her tremble and cry with little expression. He could recognize these signs as he’d been on the end factor of her attacks that day in Lost Village.

Rosel sneered at the green constellation's commentary on her looks, allowing herself to lean seemingly casually against the light pole. Great, another Noctis, just what the world needed. Though her lightning bolt had missed, she hit the mud creature, blowing it to muddy pieces. Rather than regathering it, Rosel was surprised to see him paint something on the air; perhaps he was some sort of master of liquid?
Three smaller bolts dispatched the pellets he slung at her, bursting them in midair to relatively small explosions of colored dust. Really, he was going to have to be far more creative than this if he hoped to defeat her.
Aeos took off towards Haveni and Noctis in her peripheral vision, and a smirk twitched at her lips. Aeos may have been a relatively softer soul than herself, but he was reasonable, unlike Noctis who seemed to be far too easily swayed while in feminine presence. And he was clear on Seir's goals, the very next best thing to Seir himself being in charge of the situation. Bringing her full attention back to the fight at hand, a bolt of lightning arched in front of her, from shoulder to shoulder. Things on that front were in good hands.
The painter was not invested with hate like the wind-wench, but he was an enemy just the same, despite his patronizing words. Snorting, Rosel called the lightning to arch over her again and it rounded the light pole once. "Save your pity for one who needs it!" She called out to the constellation a short distance from her. "Like yourself!" The lightning arched over her head once, and lanced out towards him.

Ergo was right.. It was.. Wrong for him to do this.. To just sit back and simply relax when there was so much going on. The little ones, However... They shouldn't be part of this.. He finished the stew, leaving a note behind so that the little ones, if they did return, and then took Ergo's hand.
Let's go.. We should try our best to help.
Fulmine continued to hop from roof top to roof top. He could clearly smell the smoke, still lingering in the air. The night atmosphere was very cool, the seabreeze blowing his robes in an rhythmic pattern.
It was a strange feeling, standing alone. He felt utterly bitter about what had just happened, though he knew it was rash of him to act that was, but he didn't care. He loved his brothers, and to see their hearts tossed around carelessly, filled him with rage.
A Soft, sigh escaped his lips as he cooled off.

God, Haveni was a confusing girl. When he thought that she might have calmed down, she rejected his touch like he was the plague. How did her mind work? Did she not like his dirty appearance? Surely, it wasn't that disgusting-- He didn't like the expression in her eyes either. Even as he called out her name multiple times, it seemed like she was in a world of her own.
He glanced up at the rapidly darkening sky, eyes widening. The darkness was so great, it was taking over the area..?
His final hope was crushed with her next words. The possibility she had regained herself was too much to ask. As she uttered those whispered words, his hands left her cheeks in a shocked manner, frozen into place.
This was what his original goal had been. But.. now that it was in front of him, he didn't think of it as appealing as it was before.
"Haveni-- That's quite a large goal. Sure we have our fair share of enemies but the world's a little too much, don't you think?" Even in times of crisis like this, he wondered why his wit never failed to stay with him. As if wit and humor could bring her back.
