Miku-ana

Suki spotted the gap between Rasha and Kupo and filled it in. She realized that Rasha was suspicious of Akazawa and frankly she didn't trust him either. He didn't seem real. Behind all that 'cheer' was emptyness and it set off certain alarms in Suki's mind.
Rasha's words broke her thoughts and she focused on Rasha instead of Akazawa. "I'm sorry..." Suki said in response to hearing about the lover's death. "How did he die, or do you know?" Suki was curious. It was clearing up. Did Rasha return here to grieve for her lost loved one?

Akazawa listened in on the girls' conversation. He was cutious to know why Orochimaru would allow either of them into the village, but it seemed that the young female, Rasha, was born here. He smirked and continued walking ahead of the group.

((From the dead, she has risen! xd Sorry, couldn't resist.))

~

Rasha turned a look at Suki, careful to watch her step as they continued to follow Akazawa. She stayed silent for a moment, debating whether or not to answer. She glanced down at Kupo, then turned her eyes up to Akazawa. She smiled, it wouldn't matter anymore, like she had told Kabuto, she didn't fear anything - just her Otokage.

"There's a grave stone, behind the Otokage Tower...Jazen Ishikawa was his name." She began, not caring whether Akazawa was listening or not. Rasha figured the only way to keep her sanity and finally free herself from the past, was to let someone else know - for better or worse, she could've cared less.

"When my father was alive, he was a jounin for Orochimaru-sama. Much in the same position Kabuto now holds..." Rasha smiled slightly, placing her hands behind her back.

"He and my mother lived in the village for a time. But then moved out here, to the quiet forest..." Rasha smartly cut out the large chuck of her father's past. He had slowly grown wary of Orochimaru's ways. He and other ninja families escaped to the forest. Not welcomed in Leaf, but to fearful of Orochimaru in Sound.

Rasha looked ahead, her eyes landing on Akazawa, "When I was born, I was raised with Tai, Sora, and Jazen." Kupo laughed and Rasha looked down at him with a bright smile.

"And of course, Kupo's grandmother." She giggled, Kupo whined happily and trekked in front of the women. Careful to keep his golden eyes on Akazawa as well.

"Well, time went on and slowly, we grew under Orochimaru's care." Again, she left out the cruel and harsh trainings they suffered in the Sound Academy. The welts she returned with everyday from school were always ugly, and always stung.

"Tai, Sora, Jazen, and myself grew close - and we loved one another, like no one could come to love us before or after." Rasha whispered, her hazel eyes turned up to the sky, a soft smile on her lips. Kupo howled softly, lowly, in remembrance.

"But, my friends - Tai and Sora, died, like all ninja have the chance of doing." She continued, again, leaving out the fact that it was Jazen was the one that killed them. Orochimaru had promised to have Rasha given to Jazen in reward for killing the little homes outside the village, and whatever survivers remained.

Rasha looked down and made her eyes level, she would say those facts in front of Akazawa, she would tell Suki all of it later, "Jazen and I were all that we had..."

Rasha's eyes went cold, "But...he did something, that I felt I could not forgive...I hunted him, trapped him, and had Kupo pinned him down before me..."

Kupo growled roughly, sharply turning away from watching the women, giving the notion that he didn't want to hear this, "But then, he surprised me - saying he only did what he did...so he could love me."

Rasha turned to Suki, "I took pity on him, and as he laid there on the ground, Kupo's jaws around his throat, I told him - I would release him." Rasha smiled ruefully and turned away from Suki.

"But my dear puppy, so undetrained and unknowing, mistook my signals and crushed Jazen's throat." Rasha whispered softly. Kupo was stiff as he walked, and eerily silent.

"I killed the only one that had the courage and stupidity to love me." Rasha whispered finally, after a silence, "...And the only one, I was foolish to love in return..."

Arina walked for a few more minutes until she saw Kabuto not far away. "Kabuto-kun!" She said as she ran up to him. She was pleased that she had been able to find him. She just hoped that Orochimaru had left a mission for her with him.

"Did Orochimaru-sama have a mission for me before he left?" She asked as she stopped next to him. She wasn't that much shorter than him. If you actually looked at them from a distance, they looked the same height, but she was actually an inch shorter than him.

Her hair reached the ground like Kin's did. It was thick and full. She wasn't too fond of her hair, but she didn't want to go through the trouble of cutting it. It didn't get in her way when she fought, so she left it like that.

Kabuto turned in his step and locked eyes with the female. He put a hand on his hip, over the off-white cloth that was wrapped around his waist. "As a matter of fact Arina, yes." He said in his smooth voice.
This new turn of events seemed to be exactly what they all needed. He would need to round up Suki, Rasha, and of course Akazawa. That was certainly a team from hell if one ever existed. The cold hearted and emotionless Akazawa. Known mostly for his 'hick' accent and nonchalant attitude towards his own death, not to mention killing in general. Then there was Rasha. A shinobi from Otogakure with a twisted past and that mutt of hers. Lastly was Suki, with her questionable loyalties and unknown motives.
Of course they would not be the only ones involved. No, not at all. This new mission would involve a large number of choice shinobi. With Orochimaru away on business, Kabuto would be in command of this mission. He had his orders, and he would give the others theirs. His mood had been lightened.

__________
Suddenly Suki felt horrible for asking. She looked at the ground, her emotion vertually impossable to determine just by looking at her. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring up such painful memories." This had most deffinately turned out to be very deep. At first, when Suki saw Rasha here, she felt a little closer to Konoha, but now it would seem she felt farther away from home than when she first arrived. Everything here was so dark... So depressing... Unlike Oto, Konoha was bright, even with it's tragedies, seemed so bright and happy.

They entered the village and Akazawa stopped. He turned and faced the trio of Suki, Rasha, and Kupo with a ostensibly sweet smile. Though behind the smile there appeared to be emptiness.
"Well ladies, I'll let ya get cleaned up on yer own. I don't think ya need ma help for that naw do ya? Suki, you are to reprot to your room at the inn and wait for an escort. Yer still not trusted yet love. We'll meet up in a couple 'a hours. Don't worry, I'll find ya." Akazawa said with the same smiling face the whole time. He waved and began to walk off.

Arina nodded as she looked at him. There was no smile on her face. There hardly ever was. If there ever was some emotion that crossed her face, it was usually anger or a grin. She did not feel sadness or pity. She cared only for herself and a select few others.

There was only one person that she would risk her life to save. Orochimaru. She felt as though she was ever indebted to him. He had taken her away from the bickering and she had gladly went. Anyone else could save themselves if it came down to her risking her life for theirs. Unless of course Orochimaru told her to stay with them and keep them safe.

"What was the mission?" She asked as her thoughts wandered back to what she actually came to ask Kabuto about. So Orochimaru had left her a mission. She had a feeling that he might. He usually did when he was going to be out of the village for a certain period of time.

Kabuto was still looking back into the kunochi's eyes. The white eyes, a clear sign of the Hyuuga clan, always seemed empty. Not just Arina's, but every Hyuuga Kabuto had faced. They were blank.
"I will explain everything when everyone has been gathered. Currently, I will not disclose any of the details except that this order came directly from Orochimaru-sama." Kabuto explained.
Sensing a familiar presence approaching, Kabuto turned and faced the hollow smile that belonged to Akazawa. He returned his gaze to Arina, not saying a word to the other nin.

((Sorry it's short, but there wasn't much more I could type yet.))
PostPosted: Thu Jan 26, 2006 3:38 pm

Arina nodded. There was really no need to voice the fact that she understood, but she always did. Some people just didn't understand what a nod meant. She knew that Kabuto did, but it was habit. "I understand."

She sensed the other nin and turned to look. She turned back to Kabuto as she igored the other nin like Kabuto had done. She had gotten good at ignoring people unless they did something that really made her mad. That had already happened a few times, and the ninja hadn't lived to see the next day. The ninja hadn't been from Sound, but from some lesser known country.

"Was there anything else that Orochimaru-sama said?" She asked as she looked Kabuto in the eye. She always looked others in the eye. She had no reason to fear anyone other than Orochimaru. Even him she didn't fear as much as others did. Some people called her a fool for it. She didn't consider herself a fool. She took caution when it was necissary.

Some people who had not known of the Hyuuga clan always thought her eyes were strange. They had a unique dullness and blankness to them that no other clan had. Just like the Uchiha's had the Sharigan. Although there eyes were either darker, or normal color. When she was younger she had been teased about her eyes when the other kids didn't understand what ability ran through the Hyuuga clan.

Arina had never really been able to control her anger like any other ninja. She had gotten better at it over the years, but there were still times when she would get really mad and whoever the anger was caused by would regret it. She had put some of the kids in the hospital before. If it hadn't been for the medical ninjas, they would have died. She didn't care though. She never had.

Rasha sighed heavily and turned to Suki, jutting her finger in Akazawa's direction, "I don't like that guy. He seems a little funky to me." She whispered.

"Come on, Sis, let's go get cleaned up, my room is right by yours." Rasha said, trekking around to the inn with their rooms, Kupo walking lightly by her feet. Rasha smirked down at him and laughed.

"What's gotten into you, bud?" She questioned. Kupo barked happily and then proceed to lick his teeth. Rasha let out a chuckle.

"I see, you can't wait to be fed. Well, come on, Suki!" Rasha called to her friend.

Arina nodded to Kabuto again before she started walking away. Kabuto would tell her what the mission was when the time was right. She knew not to press for the information on the mission. She would find out soon enough once everyone was there.

She started walking towards her house for lack of anything better to do. The village was unusually quiet. She looked around cautiously as she walked. She didn't want to get snuck up on. Although she was certain that there was no one there, she couldn't be too careful.

She looked up at the moon. A full moon. The perfect lighting to train at night. She grinned as she started heading for the hole in the wall that she had gotten through before. Though she didn't need to do this, she enjoyed getting past the guards without them seeing. She had moved through the shadows as she got to the hole.

She went through the hole and looked at the surrounding area. She started walking into the trees to keep out of sight of the guards. Though she was certain that they wouldn't see her, she was always more cautious than most. She had to be since she was a missing-nin and the ANBU were still searching for her. It had been five years. You would have thought that they would have given up by now.

She wandered into a clearing that she had been in earlier. She looked at the trees with the dents in them and smiled as she closed her eyes. She walked into the center of the clearing and took a few deep breaths as she started to focus. She grabbed a couple of kunai knives and held one in each hand.

She jumped up and threw the kunai knives as she did rapid hand seals in the air. "Hakke shou Kaiten!" She shouted as she said as she spun at a very rapid pace. Some of her chakra surrounded her making what looked like a shield. When she landed on the ground and she had dismissed it, she looked around her. She saw some smaller trees bent and plants that had been near her had been uprooted. She just smirked as she looked around. She didn't really particualrily like using her clan's attacks, but some of them did come in handy.

She had tried her best to forget what clan she came from, but have the Byakugan was always a reminder. Orochimaru-sama didn't seem to hold it against her. He saw it as making her stronger since she had the ability to see chakra points and to have the ability to stop those with one attack. She had to admit, that was a pretty good technique to have. It had saved her life countless times and she was certain that it would continue to.

After a few more hours of training, she saw the sun starting to rise. She had lost track of time. She moved over to the trees and collected her kunais and shurikens that had been embedded into the trees. Once she had them all, she began making her way back to the village. She wondered when Orochimaru would return and when she would find out what the mission was.

Patience was usually not one of her best qualities. She realized that she was tired as she walked towards the gates. She couldn't go through the front gates without having to explain how she got out in the first place without them seeing her. She didn't feel like explaining that there was a hole in the wall. This was the perfect way to get out of the village if you didn't want anyone to know. Although it also made it easier for enemy ninjas to get in if they knew about it.

She didn't bother to take in any of the surrounding scenery. She hardly ever did unless she was in an unfamiliar place and needed to know how to get out of there quickly if she had to. She didn't need to for any place around Sound or the Leaf. She was actually a really quick learner and was able to take in the description of places very well. It helped her a lot in some of the missions that she had had to go on in the past five years.

She saw the hole coming up and picked up her pace to get over to it. She knew it wasn't that far away, but it seemed like it since she was tired. When she finally got over to it, she went through it and started heading to the other side of the village where her house was.

Arina heard someone and decided to check it out. Sleep could wait. She wasn't that far from whoever it was. She turned a corner and saw someone strolling about the village. So she wasn't the only one still up? She saw the sun rising more and looked back at the male shinobi. She had never seen him before. Was he new?

She walked around the corner and started walking in his general direction, but making it look like she was heading somewhere that was in that direction. Her house was in that direction, but it actually took longer getting there this way. She quickened her pace and caught up to him with no problem. She walked right on past him without giving any sign that she had been following him.

Zen shifted his eyes to slightly at the girl, just a quick glance before swinging his sickle once more. Being the kind guy he was and diddn't mind having company, he would usually talk to people or at least greet them with some kind of sign, but for some reason Zen really didn't feel that way.
Looking at the tree, then back to the girl, this wasn't very fun beating up on a defenseless tree. It would be better to beat up on someone who can at least evade his attacks and can be able to strike him down, putting him in check. Zen hessitated for what he was about to do this very second.

"Hey..uh you girl" Zen said as he walked over towards her swinging the sickle and chain.
"I was wondering if you wanted to train with me..uhh at least for awhile?"

For some strange reason, his bones started to act out on there own as the bones in his pack started to ease out very slowly. He didn't know why it was doing this, but It wasn't really doing any harm, at least thats what he thought. Adjusting his headband, Zen leaned up against a tree, pulled out a cig and placed it between his lips, not bothering to light it yet.
