It took a moment or two for Lore to figure out what it was that Garrick was asking.

"Brekky...." Hana murmured in agreement.

So he had to take a stab at it carefully sitting up in the bed as so not wake Elnara.

"Hungry? Then get changed and go downstairs hmm?"

"I'm not," Toshiro admitted, "It's just really weird..."

Weirder because Toshiro couldn't hide behind a child's face anymore. After all he was old, he was as old as Feng and Ryu, though they were a bit older than himself. He was so old that he actually had been smaller as a Surprise compared to other Surprises.

"It feels weird seeing the ground from here."

As Elnara fell back asleep, Garrick rolled off the edge of the bed, landing on all fours like a cat. "'Kay, Ada," he murmured softly, following after Lore. "An' Hawafel ma' us b'effas?"

He found his clothes on the floor from the day before and held them up to Lore, thinking he was being helpful.



Arahad chuckled at Toshiro and pulled out some of his old clothes. "Try this on," he grinned, tossing him the pants. "And you'll get used to it. I was with Aras the last time she grew ... and she grew a lot taller than you did. She was back to normal within two days."

He sat back to wait for Toshiro to get dressed, to see if the pants would fit him.

Lore chuckled taking the clothes from Garrick, "Thank you, though we should probably find some clean clothes for you to wear."

He made his way over to the travel bag to rummage through, Hana was picking up her clothes too. She was later than Garrick in doing so, but she thought since her Daddy accepted them from Garrick then she should pick them up too.

"New?" she pattered over to join the two of them.

Putting aside the bed sheets Toshiro got closer to Arahad and held out his arms like a scarecrow. He just hoped putting on a shirt would be easier than putting on pants. He had never in the past given much thought to how one like him would get clothes on when he was younger.

Miyu didn't have this problem, she had cute little angel wings of a child. The only down side to that was that she still had to wear wing warmers in winter they were so small.

Garrick grinned as he grabbed his shirt from Lore, it being the first clothes that Lore pulled out, and he tried to pull it over his head. He got one arm into the sleeve all right, but he missed the hole for his head and was struggling with the shirt, trying to get his head through the other sleeve.

"Ada," he complained, "no' wohk! No go on!" He tugged at it harder, grunting as he tried to get it on.



Arahad held the shirt against Toshiro and nodded. "It should fit," he murmured to himself. "Here, turn around and I'll measure for holes for your wings." He pulled a knife from his belt and held the shirt ready to put against Toshiro's back.

Lore chuckled as he moved to help Garrick adjust his shirt, "Wrong place...."

He shifted the shirt over to the side a bit so Garrick's head could get into the right hole, and then proceeded to help him put his arms through the other sleeve.

Behind Lore, Hana was doing a funny little dance as she was trying to get her dress on. She was very close to getting all the proper body parts except somehow she managed to get it inside out.

"And I'm not sure how it all works neither," Toshiro murmured as he took the shirt.

Girls in that way were lucky, they could have dresses with low backs which got rid of the whole wing problem. He was pretty sure that was why all his winged sisters wore dresses.

He pulled the shirt over his head and felt his wings bend to fit through the whole. Once through he could hear a swoosh of them springing back into it's original form.

"Who knew they were that flexible."



Kara reached the kitchen but though as she stepped in that maybe she should have headed to the play room so she could set one of the twins down. She was sure Hope was trying to grab her feathers at the moment.
