Anthony ducked as they started shooting at him, "I'm not after you! I'm after Hessler!" he shouted, "I was a traceur once and in my heart I still am, so trust me for like ten minutes and stop shooting at me dammit!" Anthony stood back up and continued following them. He stopped about ten feet from Monet, "I wan't going to hurt your sister. If anything I was going to get her some kind of medical help." he stared, unblinking, at the woman. He wasn't lying, anybody should be able to tell from either his voice or his expression that he meant the traceurs no harm.
"I realize you can't trust me. I can't trust myself for what I've done to the people I once called friends. But I am not lying. I'm gunning for Hessler. I didn't know he was going to kill this many people or destroy this many familes." he said. Anthony threw his CPF badge and Ranger I.D. on the floor, "Shoot me if you want to, but I'm on my own time. I can do whatever I want when I'm not working, even help a group of traceurs. Half of whom have been shot, I might add." Anthony then pulled out the gun he was carrying, emptied, and dropped it. He also put the metal bar he carried in his belt loops at the back of his pants. Anthony wasn't a threat at this range.

Cameron looked at Anthony as he approached. "Oh no." he said, drawing the Kimber 1911 he'd taken from the cop and pointing it at him. "You almost got us killed. We have no way of trusting you." he stated, keeping the gun trained on him. In his reckless attempt to flee the apartment, he'd left the gun loaded and with the safety off, so he didn't have to do anything now if he wanted to shoot Anthony. "I mean, come on. You expect us to suddenly say "Hey, that's a great idea, let's all go and kill Hessler together!", because it won't work that way. No, until you prove to us you're not going to draw a concealed pistol and shoot me in the back, I'm going to be the one behind you with a pistol at YOUR back." he stated, keeping it levelled rock steady at Anthony. "I don't know who this Hessler is, due to me being out of the loop for a good few days, but I can tell he's done something wrong. But you, I know what you've done, and tried to do. Trust me when I say none of us have an inkling in trust in you anymore." he continued.

Jon stood looking at Quicksilver as he and Cam talked, both Jon and Cam with thier guns raised at him. Hearing what Quicksilver had to say and watching him empty his gun, Jon realised this guy was no longer a threat. "You know that we can't ever trust you, and you're on a personal vendetta against Hessler," Jon pointed out, "So why the hell did you come this way? there are much quicker routes to where he is in the government building." Looking around, Jon motioned for Monet and Valentine to keep moving, it was imperative that they get Valentine home as soon as possible, they had a job to do. Pulling out his smokes, Jon lit one and stashed them in his now bloodstained trench coat. The leather ruined by the blood, Jon knew that he would have to buy a new one as soon as this job was done, although, they were hard to come buy these days..... Maybe he should upgrade his jacket to a slightly more functional one. Drawing deeply on the filter of the cigarette, Jon felt the stress of the last two days begin to melt away as the nicotine coursed through his system. Slowly backing up towards, Monet and her sister, Jon kept his eye on Quicksilver in case he tried any funny business with that metal pole of his.

Hearing his call for peace only made her angrier, and she threw him a cold glance. How dare he try to make peace with them, saying they could trust him? If he was so quick to betray CPF, he would probably be faster to betray them, as long as the price was right. After all, everyone was in it for the money, these days, weren't they? "Don't try to be buddy buddy with us..." she warned him as she spat angrily in his direction. She couldn't take this man, Quicksilver, lightly. Seeing Jon indicate they should continue moving, she motioned to her sister, and the two of them took off, still going onwards towards their home. She couldn't risk Quicksilver following to see where they lived, after all... All around them they were surrounded by people of the rebellion... It's be like leading a dog catcher into a room of stray dogs... Not a wise idea...

Roman thought about it for a second, he was technically still a Ranger in the enemy ranks. "Fine, you can make yourself useful," He announced, knowing that he might regret what he was about to offer, "you're going to help us get into the Parliament building. With all the Rangers guarding the entrance, there will be no solid entry point. So you're going to lead us right in." Roman looked towards the group, noticing the worry in their eyes, "I'll be fine with him, you guys get safe. I'll catch you guys some other time." Roman started heading towards the edge of the building, looking downwards into the streets. There had to be at least a thousand officers fighting in the streets, and they were quite a distance away from their destination. "Well, what are you waiting for?"

Asuka ducked behind the car, bullets whizzing passed ahead. The Ranger's had opened the door to the Parliament building, and began peppering the force outside with an excessive amount of force. Two Officers lay dead, shot by the overwhelming power of the enemy. "This is bad," Asuka mumbled. "The CPF does not have nearly as much trained operatives as the Rangers." Captain Trudeau nodded, after emptying a clip on the Rangers, his brow drenched with sweat.
"We do not have the men nor the skills necessary to deal with the Rangers. The riots and various other disasters had spread us out too thin." Trudeau agreed sadly. Asuka nodded, his face grim. Popping up he shot a few rounds into the enemy before returning to the safety behind Trudeau's cruiser.
"We need something to give us the edge. Something they do not expect us to have...Do we have any more helicopters?"
Trudeau shook his head, "No. None able to be used at any rate. They were all destroyed in earlier conflicts with the Rangers. Who would've expected Hessler to pull off something like this?" "How about heavy weaponry or explosives?" Asuka questioned. Trudeau's face changed, as if pondering. Then his face brightened, as if he recalled something. "I think we still have some ballistic rocket launchers left. Follow me." Trudea jumped up, emptying a few rounds before sprinting towards an armored SUV father from the conflict. Asuka did the same, though firing a bit longer to provide some cover for Trudeau. Trudeau made it to the car, yank the back door opened and shouted for Asuka to get inside. He did so.
Once both were inside, Trudeau promptly found the launcher and a few tubes of rockets. Trudeau slung the launcher on his shoulder, stepped out of the car, and took a kneeling position out of sight from any Rangers. Asuka followed, carrying a case containing two rockets. "Let's hope this works," Trudeau prayed, taking aim at the entrance of the Parliament. Asuka nodded. This could end up being horrendously bad, or just the break they needed. Asuka loaded the rocket into the launcher, and gave a pat on Trudeau's shoulder; signaling the O.K. to fire. He did.
A ballistic missile could be seen roaring from one end of the street and into the doorway of the Parliament building. Seconds later, a second one followed. The resulting explosion could be heard for blocks around. Thus began the CPF's counterattack.

time-flies--love-me-now (( I hate it when people post then go offline, it slows the whole RP down.)) [Sadly, some of us do have lives and other things we want to do.] ---- Cam walked behind Anthony, keeping the gun pointed at his lower back. One shot, and he'd be paralysed for good. He looked over at Jon and the girls, seeing that they were about to head off. "Hey...Monet." he said, leaning to the side to look around Anthony. "Stay safe, alright?" he told her, looking at Valentine. "You too." he added before turning his attention back to Anthony while Roman spoke. "You heard the man. Go." he said, getting ready to move himself.

[I'm going to fast forward this a bit, this is starting to get redundant]
Roman arrived on a rooftop nearby the Parliament building, it was only a few hundred feet away from where he was standing. The CPF forces were slowly inching their way up the staircase, but it was evident that the CPF had lost too many men, slowly dwindling while the Rangers remained ever vigilant. In terms of fighting strength, the Rangers were greatly outnumbered, but were heavily armed -- each of their soldiers had twice as much weaponry available. Hessler had done a good job preparing for the battle, but it is now inevitable that the CPF would take back the Parliament building. Landing on ground level, Roman presented his I.D. to the Ranger barricade, "I'm with the runner division, we were called back immediately to report to Hessler." The Ranger looked at Roman and Cam not trusting Roman's words, but immediately recognizing Quicksilver, who had tagged along, "Yes, Hessler's been waiting for you." The barricade opened up, and they side entrance of the Parliament building was within a mere stretch of land.
"It seems our guest has arrived," Hessler watched through the CCTV monitors set up in the conjugation room. This room was used by the city leaders and had complete control over the city's security from the center table. "He's brought some friends along too!" Hessler joked, "I must prepare at once! Bring the tea!" He clapped his hands, causing the room to be emptied, the armed guards were unsure of Hessler's decision, but eventually obeyed orders. "It'd be no fun if there were prying eyes to be watching the dinner party."

Continuing her run, it wasn't twenty minutes until they reached her home, where she saw her sister in, explaining quickly, to her father, that she would return to explain everything in much more detail to him. A short kiss on the cheek and a quick goodbye, and she was off once more. The heat of the sun was now blaring down, making her sweat, and she inwardly thanked herself for also dropping her jacket off at her home before setting off toward their drop off site. She side glanced Jon. "You alright over there?" she asked curiously. It was, however, a bit out of character for her to even give the slightest about anyone other than those she held dear. On the surface, she told her self she didn't care about what happened to Jon. He was just another person... But inside, she secretly wondered if she should slow down to accommodate for his injuries, for he had taken many while trying to save both her and her sister...

Cam landed next to Roman, still behind Anthony. He had kept his eye on the man the whole time, and his gun out, ready to fire. He followed Roman to the barricade, lowering his pistol and appearing to be someone who belonged here. "I'm just a recruit. Hell of a first job, isn't it? Lost my ID on the way here...must have fallen out when I drew my gun." he said with a sheepish grin. They must have believed him, because they didn't arrest him. He kept the pistol low, but drawn, just in case he needed to defend himself or kill Anthony.

Roman walked towards the building, debris littered everywhere on the path. Blackhawks were littered all over the ground in many pieces, one even crashed into the Parliament building. The building was on fire, an eerie glow illuminated the area amongst the gunfire. The CPF were slowly creeping up towards the main entrance, but were cut short from the regrouping of the Rangers. "We'd better hurry, the CPF are staring another push", Roman yelled, looking back towards Cam, opening the side door. Looking into the room, there were more Rangers than Roman had initially thought, thousands of Rangers lingered in the building as if they were purposely being withheld from battle. "Let's stay vigilant. Try not to arouse any suspicion."

Jon watche from afar as Monet dropped her sister off, looking arond as she was inside, making sure that they wern't being watched. Sitting for a second, Jon was suprised to hear a crackling over his radio, he looked down at the thing and saw that it was dangling from the wire attacthing itself to his clothes and it was broken, smashed beyond repair. Pulling th headset free from the radio itself, Jon turned the radio off and pulled out his mobile. Realising he was about to commit one of the biggest no-nos in the traceur handbook, he also removed the back of the phone, so he could pull out the sim card as soon as the call was finished. Dailing Tray's number, Jon was puzzled when it rang through to the answering machine, so he tried again without leaving a message and was confused when he got the same result. Angrily, Jon hung up, knowing something was wrong. Tray never left the phone to ring, he always had it on him. Even in the shower he had the phone nearby. seeing that Monet had come out of her house, Jon followed her, catching up as soon as he could. Looking at her, he caught her glimpsing back at him and he smiled before pulling alongside her and asking, " Have you heard anything from Tray recently? my radio headset is mashed, it must have come lose back at the safe house." Looking at Monet, he could see that she was more at ease around him now, even though they had only been friends for a few short hours... She semed glad to have her sister home, and he could see it in the way she ran, no longer did she seem to have an akward tiffness about her, she seemed more fluid now, but Jon couldn't pinpoint why...

Cam nodded, looking around. "Wait." he told Roman as they entered. He shut the side door, then flicked the safety on his pistol, drawing the shotgun. "Time you tell me what this is about." he said, readying the gun by taking off the safety, his finger off the trigger. "I know I owe you, but I want to know what I'm getting into. I've injured and killed CPF officers...but that's because they usually fire first. I've never killed one unless he shoots at me. I don't want to get blood on my hands if I have no good reason to get blood on them." he told him.

Anthony followed Roman with the gun in his hand. He had picked it up before they had started moving again, but left it unloaded so they wouldn't shoot him for having it. Now, Anthony loaded the weapon, but held it by the muzzle so they wouldn't shoot him. When he chacked to make sure the actual Rangers weren't listening he said, "Roman, Cameron, be careful when we get to Hessler. He has something major against Roman so you two might be shot by his personal guards. If he takes you prisoner, I'll do everything in my power to get you guys out of the building before he decides to kill anyone." he said. Anthony looked at Cameron and back to Roman, "I may be a CPF officer, but I'm not heartless." he shut up as they entered the building to avoid unwanted bullets and walked with the traceurs farther inside.
