The second guard keeps his weapon pointed at the group, his hands starting to shake. In a surprising move, he lowers the gun and returns it to his holster. He addresses the kids, "I hope you kids have what it takes. No one has been able to find a hole in his power yet. Your kid friend is in the lowest floor of this building, the foundry. This is B1, the holding area. The foundry is in B11. The elevators that head down there require a pass card that only Ray and the techs on that level possess. There is an emergency stairwell that leads to the different levels, but they still require the access card to pass through the doors. It's filled with security cameras, and if any of the doors are broken by force an alarm will sound. Now get going, it wont be long before he comes back. It would seem your friend is as defiant as you four are."
With that he runs up the corridor to the door leading out and swipes his card through the reader. There is a buzz and a click, and then the door pops open. The guard pulls it open and motions for them to get moving.

[{ OOC I am so confused. XD but im going to try to post and see what happens..lol}]
Garret's ears rang as he walked out of the cell doors, the blow to the head he'd suffered hurt him more than he had thought. Every sound was like a bomb going off, he couldn't blink away the little fuzzy balls you get when you stare at a light bulb. The knot on the back of his head throbbed and it hurt his ears to speak. Garret shhok his head, rejecting a weapon. "I don't need it," He said in a hushed voice, with squinted eyes, "And i'll take care of the security cameras." The security cameras in the room slowly began ot freeze, and they ripped off the wall in useless chunks pf frozen plastic.

((The first nine posts on the previous page are the posts that belong on the bottom of the page, and Rikki's post on this page is between my two posts on the previous page... confusing I know))
Annie shook her head at Garret's methods, "It is a bit sloppy but it works. Garret, while you're at it can you make me some ice balls? I can only do so much with the little bit of humidity in this place. I think the best bet chance we have on beating Charles Ray is by working together, and we better start learning to perfectly use our powers right away."

[{ OOC I think I understand.}]
Garret shrugged. "It beats just walking right into them. Atleast he knows we're serious." She and Garret would have the same problem if Annie was right. He put several golf ball sized spheres of ice in a sandwhich baggie leftover on the desk and handed it to Annie. "Now we should head for those stairs."

Moments after the teens make their escape from the cellblock, the skin crawling howl of two men being tortured echoes through the halls. It is not long afterwards that the following message plays over the facilitiy's PA system.
"Attention - Attention. Code Pandora - Code Pandora. A class 1, two class two, and a class three metahumans have escaped from the holding area. Be on guard for four teenagers, two male and two female, in the facility. Report any sitings to extension 427. Excercise extreme caution. They are to be recaptured alive."

Annie looked up hearing the PA and rolled her eyes, sighing she asked, "Metahumans? I kind of like the term. So which one of us is class one and class three? And whom are the two class two metahumans?" She continued up the stairs, speculating on what she would be classified as. No doubt she was more dangerous than her counterparts, but Charles Ray thought of her as a push over, and she still couldn't control her power perfectly.

"It doesn't matter." Ako said, taking the steps two at a time. Even though he said it didn't matter, his mind was working out the math as well. The man was most interested in Tansy, which most likely made her the class one, Garret had actually attacked, which probably made him one of the class twos, but Annie and Ako hadn't showed their full powers yet, only hinted. This made them a toss-up for the last two positions.

"It is useful to know which of us he is underestimating," said Annie, seriously, cracking her knuckles. She hurried up the stairs more and stopped on the next landing, staring at one of the doors. Pensive she said, "I wonder if it would be better if we split up. That way we could cover more ground..."

Tansy paused. "I don't know.... How will we get in touch with each other if we do that." She shook her head. "But maybe... Okay. Does everyone have a watch or something? We'll need a meet time and a place. And it has to be something that He doesn't own."

"But where's that?" Garret chuckled at the thought. He knew Charles ray pretty much owned as much of the city as he's been in. sudden;y he had an idea. "We can go the roof! Once we saved Gidget, we climb to the roof and Tansy can fly her back to the apartment. Then us three can fight Charles." His voice quiet and dismayed as he finished the sentence.

"I'd rather not face my fears today if I can help it." Ako said, barely suppressing a shudder. He couldn't recall his biggest fear, but he could remember waking up in a cold sweat after the nightmares. He was the person who laughed at horror films, so whatever frightened him was better kept in the depths of his mind. "We could meet in the ghetto; it's a rough neighborhood, but Charles definitely doesn't own it."

Annie bit her lip, thinking. "So the question is to deal with the gangs in the ghetto or Charles. I'm inclined to Garret's idea, but that is because I have a bone to pick with Charles."
She sighed, "If we do split up, we should split up in pairs at least." She glanced at her watch, "We need to make a decision quick, though."

Garret liked the idea of hiding out in the Ghetto, Charles most likely won't look there. But wouldn't it be better to take out Charles than hiding from him in the ghetto for the rest of their lives? Garret shrugged. "You two should go together." He nodded at Ako and Annie. "I'll stay with Tansy and protect her. But to where are we meeting?"

Annie glanced over at Ako, it wouldn't have been the pairing she had thought of, but she never liked to be the one to make decisions. Nodding she said, "That'll be fine with me, and we can meet up in the Ghetto in three hours then, even if we don't find Gidget?"
