Marie sighed, frustrated. "Fine, but, at least let me lay on the couch, that way I can make sure you don't burn anything.." She teased the last part, trying to compromise. "You can keep an eye on me while you're cooking too..." .

Bradley rolled his eyes and offered a smile. "Fine, have it your way." He said with a soft smile before picking her up and bringing her downstairs to the couch. There, he deposited her softly on it, backing up to look at her. "Now, what would you like to eat, your highness?" He teased. He did in fact know how to cook rather well from his years as a human.

Marie laughed softly, for that was the only way how she could at the moment. "I was thinking either ramen noodles, or some ravioli..." She mused it over for a second. "Yeah, ravioli...that's it." She was going to miss having his hand on her head, but she wasn't going to say a word about it..

Bradley nodded and bowed before responding. "As you wish, your majesty." He said without covering a single bit of his thick english accent before dashing off to the kitchen. There, he hunted for the can of ravioli in the cuboard, finding it without a problem. He eyed the cracks in the floor, knowing no matter how much he wished they didn't exist, they'd still be there. After hunting down a pot and placing the contents of the can in there, he watched Marie for a second before posing a question. "Would some advil be in order as well?"

Marie laughed at his response. "No need to call me 'your majesty'..." She trailed off as he went to the kitchen. Her mind had wandered as she watched him move about the kitchen. "Hmmm, Advil? No, that stuff never works on me..." She stated, knowing it was best to wait out the pain. Food sometimes helped, which is another reason why she wanted to eat. ..

Bradley nodded before responding. "I assumed so, but I didn't want to deny you help." He said quickly, before dashing about the kitchen to get a bowl and fork. He deposited the now hot red glop into the bowl, and seemingly appeared by her side on the couch. "Here you are, miss." He said with a grin and a bow while presenting her with the bowl of ravioli.

Marie took the bowl and fork from him with a roll of her eyes. "Really?" She said, referring to when he called her 'miss' and bowed. "A little too over the top, why are you doing that?" She asked curiously before beginning to eat her ravioli. ..
(You said the same thing on Macabre Manor...what happened?)

(My sister killed my computer, within a weekend of visiting. How, I have no clue, but it was out for the count. And now my quicklink-thinger doesn't work.)
"Just respect ma'am, that's all." Bradley responded with a wink and grin. He headed back to the kitchen, where he went to work scrubbing what little blood was on the floor. After deciding it was clean enough, he dilligently went to work doing her dishes.

Marie watched him clean as she ate, a bit confused. "You don't have to do that , you know...You don't even use dishes..." She said, softly, knowing he would still hear. Her head was feeling slightly better, and she sat down her food to go get herself something to drink.
(the bar at the bottom of the page, here, on gaia? Mine isn't working either, stopped doing so a couple of days ago...)

Bradley eyed her, deciding whether or not to intercept her and send her back to the couch. Deciding to go for it, he intercepted her path and softly said, "back to the couch, miss, there's no need for you to be on your feet." His golden eyes glinted in the light as he coaxed her back. "I don't care if I don't use dishes. It's one less thing for you to do, and I figure I'm up all night long, so..." He answered her comment before, still eerily calm.

Even though her legs were shaky, she managed to keep herself upright. "The dishes weren't the reason why I was getting up..." She explained nicely. "I was simply going to get myself something to drink..." She said, averting her gaze from his so he couldn't try to persuade her to go back to the couch.

"I know that, dear." He responded, still attempting to get her back to the couch. "Please, go back to the couch. I don't want you collapsing." He reiterated, hoping she'd take his advice. The last thing she needed was another fall.

Marie pouted, sticking out her bottom lip slightly. "But I want to get myself something to drink..." She repeated. "If it'll make you feel better, you can accompany me, and if you think I'm going to fall, you can whisk me back to the couch.." She offered.

(Sorry I disappeared off the face of the Earth. I went on vacation with my family and forgot to mention it. sweatdrop )
Bradley rolled his eyes and move out of the way. "Fine, but that's all you're getting away with, missy." He huffed. "I really would prefer you would lie down instead of walking around." As if drawn together by some strange invisible force, he moved directly at her side, keeping a weary eye on her.

Marie gave him a small smile. "Thanks..." She said softly, heading over to the sink, and reaching in the cabinet beside it for a glass. She settled on water, since it was the closest, and didn't want him to worry any more. Marie drank the glass down quickly before refilling it. She noticed his closeness, and gently took one of his hands and raised it up to her face, giving it a small kiss. "Thank you...really...you didn't have to help me..." .
(its alright, i'll be moving in a couple of days, more like this weekend, so i might not have internet access for a few days...)
