Kudo and Zan both looked horrified and Zan stood up with her hand on her mouth, "Gods whats wrong with him Kudo?"
Kudo didnt speak, he watched Hiryo for a moment and then pulled him into his arms. "Hiryo. It's me. It's me. Ssh..."

Hiryo struggled for a moment before it begain to sink in. He whimpered cuddling into Kudo crying trying to bury his face in the fox's chest. "Don't let me go."

"I'd never let you go, not ever." Kudo whispered to him and stroked his hair gently as he held onto him. "I'm here, I won't try to do that anymore, I'm sorry I yelled please don't be upset Hiryo." Kudo felt something was missing from his sentence, something his heart wanted to say but... his mind wasn't letting him speak.

Hiryo closed his eyes breath begain to even out. He blinked his eyes drying tears but still clung to Kudo. "Promise?" He asked softly some where in the foxs midregion not looking up.

Zan slipped out again.
"I promise and I'd rather die before breaking a promise to you. Okay Hiryo?" Kudo continued stroking and holding the angel.

Hiryo wiped his eyes looking up at Kudo threw thick lashes edged in tears. "'K." He said softly exhusated it had been quite a trying day. His eyes fluttured and he sigh getting comfortable against Kudo. "Warmm.."He whispered before falling asleep.

Kudo cradled him against him, and gently he lifted the angel and sat with him in his arms on his own bed. "Hiryo..." He murmured. "You're more then my friend, I realize it... I don't know what you are yet... but I'll find out..." His voice was soft so as not to jarr Hiryo's sleep. Kudo admired how gorgeous the angel was, long blue hair, adorable eyes, an angelic voice and he even looked good as a girl. Kudo blushed a little as he looked at him.

Hiryo moved slightly in his sleep finding a comfortable postion against Kudo whisps of silken blue hair trapped in his fingers. He drew up his feet and legs onto Kudo's lap resting his head just under the fox's chin.

Kudo wrapped his arms tighter about the boy and gently lay his head on Hiryo's. Kudo was thinking, 'He was far more traumatized then me, scarred more deeper then I ever was. If I don't take care of him... at this point... I'd never be able to trust anyone to take care of him but me... and I just promised... I promised I'd stay by his side... and I will... it seems like an odd declaration between friends... mabye I'm just immature... worried about last time. In his condition last time can't happen... I'd never hurt him and he'll never try to do that to me... it'll... it'll be fine... and if... if I like him... if my feelings grow to something more... he'll understand... maybe they've already grown... that kiss, I just wanted to do it. I wanted to kiss him, I just want to be close to him... is that wrong? No, it can't be wrong... just a kiss... ...then why do I feel this way?'

Hiryo opened one sleepy eye looking up at Kudo. "Llllay down please?" He said sleepily nuzzling the shoulder. "Upright sleeping feels funny." His eye lashes fluttered down. "PLease?"

Kudo smiled at him, and lay down as he wished, "Better?" His voice was soft, caring. Nothing else made Kudo happier then having a friend and being accepted. It had been a long time since he'd had that feeling and he liked it... he also enjoyed being so close to Hiryo, although Hiryo constantly said the fox was warm, Hiryo was just as warm. His ears twitched happily.

Hiryo wrapped himself around Kudo clinging to the fox as if he was a fluffy stuff animal to hold and nodded slowly. "A lot better and softer" He said softly eyes closing fully and drifted off.

Kudo gently lifted his hand and stroked the angels hair, one of his hands curled about him as well. So he was soft was he? He grinned to himself, and tried not to move. Slowly his own eyes closed but he didn't sleep, he just let them close thinking, so many thoughts, and one by one they faded and he drifted off too... thinking things that were far too jumbled to place here.

Hiryo slumbed peacefully slipping fully into sleep hair running into his eyes.

Time passed, and slowly Kudo awoke, feeling something on top of him. He blinked awake and remembered Hiryo and then he relaxed a bit.
