"Did she teleport? Any broken windows?" Jarred snapped up, having become quickly accustomed to Maya being there, though he kept an eye on her.

Rook turned to Kat, raising an eyebrow. "Left. As in took the bathtub the hell out of here," He looked to Jarred, shaking his head, "No broken glass. Prolly just left. She could be anywhere in the city, now."

Kat shrugged it off. "She might come back, could have gone out for coffee or something. Not like she can't travel around without ease. " She started walking back towards the kitchen, taking off her cap and letting her hair fall into the sink. "Could one of you help with this?"

"Roxy wasn't too happy when she was leaving." Maya picked up the note sadly and held it to her ear. "Poor girl" She put the note back on the counter and pushed the macaroni away, no longer hungry. She suddenly turned and dashed to the bathroom Roxanna had been in. She plunged her hand into the water, feeling for the core. When she brushed it, she could hear a bit of what Roxy had been listening to. However, she could not glean where she had gone to. "Damn!" she muttered under her breath. Maya sat down and meditativly listened to the room, waiting for the information to trickle down to her concousness. It was a slow process.

Or if anything, we can yell angrily at a glass of water for an hour or two."

There was a slight bit of guilt, fear, but also determination. As for the bathtub, it wouldn't have known exactly where Roxanna had gone, but it would have acknowledged it involved chlorine. The best that could be gathered was Roxanna had overheard the conversation between Krieger and the blond woman, and chosen to flee instead of endanger the rest of them in her own squabbles.

"I think I'm going to go after Krieger. If Roxanna isn't going to do the smart thing, then I'm gonna drag her back here kicking and screaming, if I have to. Krieger's gonna lead me right to her."

Kat squeezed a bit of the water from her hair before tossing it back and working at it with a towel. "Seems like a fair enough plan. I'm sure I can handle the school thing on my own. So are you going to head out now, or wait till you've gotten some rest?" Kat paused a moment, "you could probably use the rest, you know."

Slowly a smell came to the surface of her thoughts. "*Sniff* Hmm...*sniff*...Mmmm. Pool. I love that smell..........POOL!" Maya dashed out of the bathroom and into a wall trying to get out to tell the others. When she finally made it into the main room, albiet with drywall dust all over her. "I know where she is!" Maya exclaimed excitedly. "She's at...a POOL!" ----------- Krieger growled outside the window. Stupid humans. A pool? No help at all! He dropped to the ground and walked down the street to the nearest community pool to see if he could find a trace there.

Roxanna had left through a pool at a health spa, waiting till it was mostly empty before transporting herself there, and quietly making her way out of the building and heading towards the more expensive condo buildings in the deeper part of town. She dripped for a while, though the walking eventually began to dry her clothes.

"Yeah, I'm going to get some rest. No good if I'm too tired to keep my eyes open." He replied, stepping back from the sink, jumping a bit when Maya started screaming about a pool, "Shhhh! Keep it down, damnit!"

Kat chuckled slightly, "A pool? Figures." She paused to stretch some and went back to the kitchen to pick up her shirt from the floor, slipping it back on. Her hair was still slightly wet though it was drying quickly, and looked to be a bright reddish-blond. "All right, I'm crashing. I have school in the morning and all that fun stuff. Thanks for the help and stuff, Maya...If one could call it that...or whatever it was you did." Kat let out a slight shrug and headed for the guest room. "Sleep well, Rook, Jarred-guy" She said with a backward wave.
