Shoni wanted to tell Zane and David what he really was but didn't want to speak, for fear that David wouldn't want him anymore. But he finally deceided what to do, he would say it but with a sort of struggled voice. "I..I'm a...L...Leviathan," he finally said.

Shoni sort of calmed down since Zane didn't get freaked out. "Leviathans are giant creatures, when raised in the wild, that look over the ancient city of Atlantis," Shoni said.

"Yeah, but when I get fully grown I will be quite large. But one good thing does come from captivity. When I do get fully grown I'll be able to change my size to fit my surroundings."

Astonished, David's eyes were wide. He'd just heard the little ting speak. "Y-you..can..TALK!" he said dumbly. it was amazing! this animal positively amazed him. He held the small 'levithan' up and looked him over for a moment. Then, he smiled softly. He decided to tell him what he felt. "Youre amazing!" he stroked him gently in his arms. He thought on how big shoni could get, and about atlantis, it was like a fantasy...

Shoni got a bit worried at first when David asked if he could talk, then he gradually got calmer when he stroked him and said he was amazing. "Yeah I can talk," Shoni said his little red eyes lighting up.

“Well!” david chuckled at shoni. “Why didn’t you before?” noticing the worry in the small creature, he continued to stroke him to calm him down. Davids big eyes watched Shoni’s small red ones.

"I doubt anyone wouldn't like being able to talk to there pets they'd be a bit creeped out at first but they'd like it once they got used to it" he said to Shoni with a smile.

“Wouldn’t like you?” David wasn’t sure WHY he like shoni so much, but he knew nothing could break that. “No, its amazing. I will be able to speak to you like a friend now.” He grinned at the though. Looking at the shop owner he nodded “The man is right, I promise, it’s fine shoni.”

"YAY!" Shoni squeaked. He hadn't expected a response like that, but the ones he had expected were horrible. "You promise?" Shoni asked. Making sure that David was for sure.
