(( LT is a kunai master, and how many scrolls am i making for the infinite one? And what else am i making?))

The kusakage went back over to the cart and pulled out several katana's and he passed one to everybody. "Shut up and just take it" Once LT was complete handing the swords out he found a little time to watch others practice and also was able to get a sip or two of his coffee and no one will ever know what is underneath his mask. So how was he able to eat and drink his coffee is a mystery. "What can i do for you Kane? Blaze you said you needed a Infinite one scroll?"

Coren flipped backward into a clearing in the field, away from the other genin. The chakra flowed from his body and began to singe the grass around him. A slight golden color began to appear around Coren and a ring of chakra began to cut away at the ground. The faint golden zephyrs swirled about and tore away the dirt surrounding him.

Coren focused his energy in a hand sign, the wind rising to his waist. The brown tipped grass wilted around him. He tugged at the lock on the Open Gate, it wouldn't budge as his chakra welled behind it. His eyes grew hazy as a dream clouded his mind.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Coren awoke at the mash hopper in his grandfather's brewery back in the Land of Fire. The brewery was dead and fine layer of dust had settled over the decaying equipment. Coren ran his finger over the heartwood desk that had sat across from the great oaken barrles. Coren walked into the deprecated office to see the burned remains of what was once the greatest brew house in the world. His family had, for centuries turned out the best of all beverages in the known world. He sat down at the blacked heartwood desk, which was the only scrap of furniture to have survived in the fire (takes longer to burn and could have been saved even after everything else was long gone). He pulls through the drawers of the desk before he notices a stack of yellowed papers upon the desk marked with his family's seal. His pupil's dilated: he had found what seemed to be the recipe his father thought he had lost in the fire.

Coren flipped through the pages of the dead recipe. He was enthralled by the ways in which his ancestors had crafted this brew. The mash was of interesting make up and the double brewing of each additive was something he would never have thought of.

A shadow crossed over the pages document causing the nin to look towards the window above him. The silhouette dropped to the desk. A tiny monkey by the name of Jonma, Coren recognized him from those long passed days from this time at the brewery. This monkey had always slinked around in the shadows of the brewhouse, sipping whatever new flavors the Lothar line had decided to try that day. The monkey spoke to Coren as he sipped the gourd which hung around his waist," Hmmm.... the son of Mograine? I remember you... you never could hold your liquor."

Coren frowned at the monkey before speaking," What do you want Jonma? And more importantly... how the hell did I get here? I thought I was in the Grass Village?" Johma spoke after a his gulping had finished, ale dripping from his chin, "Your here because you need to me, you stupid b*****d. No shinobi that has ever fought has fought for something as foolish as yours. You fight to drink and to fight. With your goals, you will die," Coren's blood ran cold," Now: your no longer a child, What is your nindo?"

Coren slightly crumpled the paper as he spoke, "Your right... I never took it seriously enough..." Tears began to well up in his eyes, "I need to carry on the legacy that the brewers passed down. Not to drink or to fight, but to carry on their love of the beauty of the brew. Johma smiled, "Now thats the Lothars I remember." The monkey handed Coren a scroll with his family seal on it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Coren's eyes reopened on the grassy plains of his village. The scroll of his bloodline in his hand, a gourd of stout in the other. He released his chakra, the flame and wind flowing out from him for a moment. He released the first of the eight gates with a triumphant shout as the chakra forced the air pressure around him outwards. The Open Gate no longer held his chakra in check. He could feel the power in each one of his muscle fibers.

He gritted his teeth as he pushed himself a step further. He pressed the gourd mouth to his own and began to drink the dark liquid. The rough and bitter brew tasted felt wonderful and filled his body with a fantastic warm feeling. His body relaxed and he felt completely refreshed. His new found stamina compounded with his increased chakra: he pressed his body one step further forcing the lock on the Heal Gate.

The pressure and chakra surged in the area. Coren began to move with speed he was unable attain before. He began to circle Blade, but was not sure as to how long he would be able to keep his momentum up, but as long as he was on the high, he figured he'd go all out.

Coren pulls out a number of kunai, tossing each at Blade as he circles around his teacher. Forcing enough chakra from his feet, Coren is able to get to the Kunai on the opposite side of the circle. Without a hiccup he is able to step on the kunai, gaining height as he uses them as steps, still throwing the blades. Coren's eyes begin to grow dark from his over-exertion of force. He goes to step on the next Kunai, but falls short.

The genin falls twenty five feet, hitting the dirt with some force. His body was aching as the Second gate closed once again. He looked up to see his family's scroll in the grass. Coren gripped the scroll with his last bit of strength. He wrapped his fingers around the paper of the scroll and brought it close to his chest; it was his father's and his father's before him, and whatever was contained within was only for his eyes.

Coren rolled over onto his back, leaned up towards Blade. "Sensi... forgive me for sitting down..."

And his world went black.

A new gennin walked onto the training grounds. He was decently tall and he was fit. He had red hair and he was wearing a red robe that flowed in the wind. He walked over to the Kusakage. He bowed and said. "Hi I am the new gennin of the village." He said as he got back up from the bow.

"Yes Lt I need the infinite one scroll."

"Yes sir, once I have the scroll I will be able to move forward with my training, but I was also wondering if you could make me a special sword for the upcoming chunin exam", Kane replied. He had heard of LT's prowess as a blacksmith, and he knew that if anyone could make what he wanted it would be the Kusakage.

"OK, so one, two infinite scrolls, for you two guys, and Kane do you have in mind what sword you want? Man i have some much crap to do" LT muttered as he walked over to Reynard. On his way over he smirked and gave Blade and loud high five. "What did you do to him dude?" He leaned over the unconscious body, and poked it a couple of times. LT croutched and pulled a small role of pipe weed out of his flakjacket and lit it. He took a couple puffs and then one long drag holding it in. He then preformed a hand sign and blew into the face of Coren, and the Kusakage would watch untill the boys eyes flew open. "Yea, he'll be ok, here drink this." The kusakage lifted the boys head and poured some of his Jasmin Dragon Fire Green Tea into his mouth. "You num nuts, now wake up! and get back to training! Damn kids these days. Kane just make a clone and go to the mist, and meet me at L.T.'s Lodge." While a swirl of mist and grass the clone of the kusakage disappeared muttering the words, "Keep up the good work Blade"

As the swirl of grass had yet to disappear, LT said, "all of you genin make fully powered clone and go to the field to learn more ninjutsu, You new genin, what i your name, meet me at the field and make a clone with Kane to go to mist village"

Coren chugged the last of the strange brew in his hand. He created a grass clone and sent it to the field. He need to crack down on this stuff if he was going to pass those exams.

"Alright..." Sev stated, he was glad he got to remain here to fully concentrate on his hunter nin training. "Kusa Bunshin no Jutsu." A clone appeared in a flurry of grass, with a nod the clone jogged over the where LT was standing. "Ready." Said the clone. -Clone Exit

Kane nodded at LT and then made several hand-seals saying, "Kusa Bunshin no Jutsu", then two clones appeared in a flurry of grass. Kane pointed to the first and said, "you go with the kage to learn some more grass jutsu", then pointing to the other he said, "and you go to the hidden mist village with...", he looked over at the new genin and asked, "what's your name again?"

The first clone of Kane turned towards the door and began walking towards the open grass field.
