I held Charlette's hand, my heart breaking as Charlette cried. "Claire, it'd be best-" "If I left? Nah, I like it here," Claire interrupted me, crossing her arms and leaning back against the door frame. "Claire," I trailed off, a growl coming from the back of my throat.  I've been watching your world from afar,
I've been trying to be where you are,
And I've been secretly falling apart, unseen.
To me, you're strange and you're beautiful,
You'd be so perfect with me but you just can't see,

I open my eyes looking for something, then in the ashes, a shimmer comes from it,
Emerald. it popped into my mind. I smile evilly, tears still rolling down my face. i get on my tippy toes, and whispering in his ear, so only Will could hear,
"Cover me," i kiss his ear. He walks over to Claire and goes off about nonsense, i bend down slowly and pick up the emerald. Then i Stand back up and appear in front of Claire. She smiles,
"Poor baby," she wipes a tear of my face, Then i Stab her in the heart with the emerald. I pull it out and her eyes Widen. I clench my teeth together,
"Choke on that b***h," i mumble evilly.

My eyes widen as I see the emerald in Charlette's hand, Claire's blood tainting the pure green of the broken gem. The skin around the wound instantly turns to a sickly grey, and spreads like drifting smoke. Claire clutches at the wound, small sounds of pain coming from her lips. I hold Charlette and think of my apartment. We're there instantly, and all energy I once had drained from my body. "She'll die in a couple hours, and then we can go back. But for now, what do you say we go to school?" I ask, chuckling slightly at how ridiculous(sp) school seemed now. I've been watching your world from afar,

"Imma mess," i say looking at him,
killing her didn't bring Christopher back, but damnit did it feel good. ,i thought to myself. I look at him,
"I miss him," i said, tears coating my words. My throat swells as i cry, making it hard to breathe, i fall to my knees, crying even harder then before. I feel Wills arm's around me,
'I know, i know." The Emerald drops from my hand and falls to the ground.

I surprise myself with my own sadness at the vampire's demise. Sure, we've had our bad times, but he took care of Charlette when I couldn't. "We'll see him again," I murmured to her. And it was true. Because of this whole cycle deal, we'd see him an a decade or so. If we were lucky, we might even watch him grow up into the vampire we knew him as. I kissed the top of Charlette's head, and rocked her back and forth, humming a lullaby under my breath. I've been watching your world from afar,

I look at him and smile,
"Our wedding's gonna have to be amazing," i said weakly. I kiss him,
"Mrs. Hunt" i said quietly, then i looked down at the ring, still shining beautifully.
"I can't wait to grow old with you," kissing his lips. I rested my forehead on his,
"I love you," kissing him again.

We're all alone now, with no one to endanger Charlette, I think to myself. I chuckled against my better judgement. "What are you chuckling about?" Charlette asks. "Just thinking it's too bad that we can't grow old. Or atleast, you can't. A Werewolf's life is just expanded, we don't live forever like a Vampire does," I tell her, nuzzling the crook of her neck. Sadness suddenly grips my chest as the reality of that statement sets in. I've been watching your world from afar,

i frown,
"Well i'm both, so i don't know what will happen,i really hope i don't live forever, or at least without you," i kissed him again, i smile,
"We've got a really long time," i added, hugging him tightly.
"I'm just happy to be together with you, forever," i said trying to cheer him up.
"Where ever life takes us," i added.

I nodded and picked Charlette up, smiling at her surprised squeak. I flopped us both down on my bed and hugged her to my chest. "Get some sleep darling. Everything will be fine tomorrow," I murmured in her hair, planting feathery kisses in the back of her neck. She shivered and cuddled closer to me. "Tomorrow, we'll talk about the wedding," she says sleepily. I've been watching your world from afar,

My eyes drift closed from exhaustion, today was another roller coaster. I grab Will's hands that are around me and drift to sleep.
I'm walking down the isle and Will's standing there in a lovely Tux, looking amazing as always. I smile at him as i walk, my mother's dress fitting perfectly. Then i look to see who's walking me down the isle, it's Christopher. His arm around mine,
"You look amazing," he says quietly.
"Thank you," i said. I get to the end and look to my side to see who came and my mother and father sit there, My mother crying like all mothers do. My father has a strong look on his face, hiding any emotion. I Smile at them and lip,
"I love you." Then i look at Will who's staring back at me smiling.
We say our vows, and The "I do's". Then he picks me up and carries me out of the building, showering my face with kisses. Then i turn slightly from laughing, and see Claire standing there in a dress, she must of came. She look so upset, then i recognized that look on her face. I wiggled out of Will's arms and shoved him outta the way, shooting pain fills my chest, The emerald, shinning with my blood on it.
"No," i mumbled.
I jump and wake up, Will still sleeping,
Claire had to ruin my dream wedding. i thought to myself. My heart was racing and i put my hand where the Emerald was and winced.

I sat in the garden, but now it was all overgrown and broken. Rose bushes ate up any other plant that dared to grow, and the fountain was broken, the tip of the statue sword peeking up past a few black roses.
But it was beautiful at the same time, the scene. Roses of every color grew throughout the garden, green with splatters of color.
"William," Claire called, hugging me from behind.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her, my voice dazed and trance-like.
"I'm saying goodbye, of course," she murmured, breathing in my scent.
"I don't want your goodbyes," I snarled, trying to get away from her.
"That might be the case, but you have to listen."
I grinded my teeth.
"I'm sorry about everything that happened, and that you met Charlette before me. Then none of this would've happened. Thank you for listening," she muttered. She let go of me and just walked into a rose bush, disappearing like smoke.
I flinched as I woke up, seeing Charlette sitting up.
"Bad dream too?" I ask her.

Looking back at him,
"Yeah, bad dream" I put my hand to my heart and winced again. I stood up and went over to the bathroom, splashing cold water on my face and then walking back to him.
"I can't wait till-" I look at the clock,"Tonight" it's 4 in the morning. Smirking at him, kissing him lightly.

"So, how do you feel about going to school?" I asked her, getting out of bed after kissing her on the lips briefly.

"we can go back if you'd like to" i looked away and blushed, "What are my old friends gonna think? I'm away for a while and then i come back and i'm getting married. " I laugh,
"I can't wait hun, i swear the clock doesn't move fast enough"

I laughed.
"They're going to think that you're pregnant or something."
I rummaged through some clothes until I produced a semi-clean shirt and jeans. Then I went through some of Charlette's stuff until I came up with a shirt and a pair of pants for her. I tossed her clothes on the end of the bed, then locked myself in the closet to get changed.
I heard Charlette's giggles.
"What's so funny?" I asked.
"You. You'd think that you and I would be more...comfortable around eachother."
