"......" Kokujo remained silent, but nodded. He didn't really have any healing powers as it were, but he always kept a few things handy. He reached into his coat, fishing about in one of a few small pouches attached to the cross-belts on his chest and produced a vial of orange medical fluid. The liquid within would greatly speed up the bodies natural regenerative properties for a short time. Kokujo made up for his lack of experience with healing magics with his knowledge of alchemical science.

Corbenik scratched his chin, and then seemed to have an idea. He rummaged about in his furr and produced a small bottle of aspirin "Aaaaalll set!" he grinned.

After Kyla had launched her final attack, defeating Selene, Kokujo made haste to Kyla. He flicked the lid on the end of the vial off, revealing a small needle so he could administer the medicine.
"Tch.....I was wondering what you had in mind, but a life-or death attack....you really are far too reckless...." Kokujo commented, concerned, but in his own outwardly detached way as usual. "I guess we won't be seeing Selene a third time...."

"Once you start looking more not-about-to-die I command you to teach me how to punch people into ash. That was badass.....but I still have no clue who that 'Selene' chick was, probably a fan of mine" Corbenik said, coming to the conclusion that anyone with motives he didn't know would surely appear just to see him.

"Due to the lack of awesome, your save data has been corrupted. Please wait 6 months to recover your data.

..........

Data has been restored! Resuming RP thinger now!" ^_^


*The Lunar Hope Crew returns to the room in the Twilight Temple, slightly groggy from whatever happened within X-chan's portal. It feels as if everyone's been away for 6 months, waking from deep nappage. Ahead lies stairs to the next room, and the next step on our heroes' adventure to kill Yokoshima dead, yo.*

*Kyla walks into the next room. Her previous wounds appear to be healed, but she is walking very stiffly. Though her wounds are mended, the physical pain from using Umbral's ultimate ability is still fierce. She bears it though and does her best not to let it show on her face*

Well...let's keep moving. We can't keep Yokoshima waiting.

"A room that recreates memories...great......"

*Kold didn't want to relive any of his unpleasant memories, not to mention his altered memories that Gentaru mentioned were bothering him. Though to some degree he was curious. Either way, he didn't have much of a choice in the matter.*

*The group proceeds into the next room. It is completely white and featureless for a few moments, but then there is a flash of light. They are back in Brimmstone's chambers within the Sun Spiral Island fortress. Though he looks somewhat younger.*



"Pyre Division 1st Lieutenant Brant reporting, sir! Suzaku, sir! We have a woman in our custody who claims she has an urgent message for you."




"Hmm. Send her in, but if she tries anything, incinerate her."





*Brant's pyre suit activates and his fire gauntlets ignite* "Yes sir!"


*Suzaku mumbles, 'If you try and impersonate me again, I'll punch your goddamn head off.'*


*Brant must have heard that, as he hesitated for a moment and shivered. He exits the door and enters again with the woman*



"Greetings oh great Suzaku." *she bows politely* "My name is Hori Bikou of Xeris. I have come to warn you of a potential danger."




*Suzaku says nothing, and simply waits for Hori to continue. He gestures for her to do so.*




"Xeris has been attacked by a young man in a mask. We do not know his name, nor where he came from. But he seems to be getting stronger by the day. I fear that someday he'll become a major threat to Gaia. Please, I have to do something! Let me enlist in your army, and together we can prevent any more tragedies!!" *Hori becomes more and more frantic as she speaks.*




"Leave. I'll take time to consider this. I'll let you know with this after I have made my decision." *he throws a communicator to her.*

*Hori bows and exits shortly after*




*A man or rather, a centaur walks over to Suzaku. He was observing the situation from the corner of the room.*

"What do you think? Seems pretty suspicious to me."




"Hmm....well I'd agree. However, I have heard some similar rumors about it from Byakko. Varne, take the Recon Division to Xeris and gather intel. We'll go from there."





"Yes sir. We'll leave right away." *Varne trots out of the room*


*the images shift to a different place and time. Death and destruction are abundant, and amidst the chaos is a boy in a mask. Suzaku catches up to him to find him slaughtering everyone in his path. As Suzaku goes to ambush him, Hori places a binding spell on him. Shortly after, the boy in the mask attacks him and damages him pretty badly.*




This is Suzaku the Vermillion Bird? Pathetic.



He holds Suzaku up by his throat, while Hori stands behind him...with a satisfied look on her face*




"Hori you b***h! Why did you betray us...!?"






"I never was on your side to begin with. All I had to do was manipulate events so you saw what I wanted you to see. My subordinate was the perfect bait, and you were a fool to trust me."




"Master, let me finish him off. He has no further value, yes?"





"Not just yet. We're close to finding That Person, so I can't afford any X-factors right now. Bring him with us."

*the boy knocks the back of Suzaku's head with the hilt of his sword, rendering him unconscious*

"Hmm...a room of memories. We must be careful that our own minds don't betray us...and how many sinks do you own Corbenik?"

Kokujo gazed curiously round the room as the bland place morphed into a place he quickly recognized "....I assume this means Brimmstone has recently been through here" he mused at he watched, though arched an eyebrow when Hori entered the scene, recognising her. Wasn't she the vessel Yokoshima used to feel Brimmstone? So this memory must be quite old. Kokujo observed the memory closely the way though, though his attention was caught on the strange masked man, he had never seen this person before, could Yokoshima have another powerful minion or was this just an earlier form of one of his existing ones? If nothing else though, he was skilled to be able to take down Brimmstone so simply.

"Yokoshima...." Kokujo muttered "...What does this mean I wonder...."

"It is not done to ask a gentleman how many sinks he owns! Naive!" Corbenik replied to Raiden, pointing a finger at him accusingly "Let it be known though, that once a wayward delivery boy fainted at the mere sight of them!" He then declared proudly.
