I would explain how to do an environment, but I'm too lazy right now...I'm currently rediscovering my anime roots by watching Fruits Basket. But I found this and wanted to show you guys.
at my school, we have assembly every Monday morning from 10:30-11:00. The assemblies are lead by the student council president and our president from last year made his goal, "spontaneous pockets of fun." So we had games and stuff through the entire school year. I even got to design a dress for a grade fashion show contest. Needless to say, my design won. The freshman were close, the seniors' thing was falling apart (granted they did have to use a new model the day of), and the juniors literally wrapped their designer in toilet paper (it was supposed to be "recycled fashion").
Anyway, this was how we started out one of our assemblies, it ended up on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUssVJIGffk The people who were the first ones to stand up and who start jumping around later are the seniors. That's how we sit in assembly: seniors in front, then juniors, then sophomores, then freshmen. Granted, I was in the front row of freshmen and the back row of sophomores those two years, so it didn't make much of a difference to me...

If I am, I wasn't able to find myself...I would be in the lower left corner. Let me go look.
Edit: No, I'm not in it. If they had gone two more rows back, I would've been in it. But I am in this one a few times: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWc-eA7r9z4 at- 2:11 (I'm wearing the scarf, the girl in front has been my best friend since 1st grade), 4:15-4:19, 9:19 (second one on the right), and 9:27 (on the left). That video is part of the video they showed at my 8th grade graduation. So they're pretty dated pictures...

That first one was nasty...if that was found in my school, the hall way would be shut down and the ceiling would be replaced...and that second video was very loud. Cool mascot costume though.

It was pep rally. They're generally loud. =3 The funny thing about being mascot was that I was too short for the costume so we had to put foam in the bottom of the shoes so I would be taller thereby fitting in the costume. =3

Our school's pep rallies suck. I think it's because we have the entire school there (k-12) so we can't be that loud. We have a couple cheers and the Vice-President of student council dresses up as a viking. Then we do a few cheers, people in 7th grade or higher wish that these were optional so we could do homework instead (study hall becomes an option in 7th grade at my school), and the lower school (our k-4 school) sits in front of us so we can't even have any fun with swear words and stuff...the est part about pep rallies at my school is that we sometimes get to wear jeans and a maroon or gray top.

All of the students at my school have been wishing that the pep rallies were optional because we have to fit them into like a 30 minute timeframe and they just get worse as the years go by. Out of all our cheerleaders maybe 3 smile while doing cheers or even interacting with the rest of the student body. Then our principal had to go and get rid of our dance team my senior year which hacked off a lot of us girls and our mom's as that has been a long standing tradition at our school. He replaced it with a flag team that did almost nothing. They just sit down once they've done one thing and their routine never changed once in the entire year. Whereas the dance team had to have a new dance every two weeks. A lot of us were mad about that as you can tell by my rant.

I have just spent the past 3 hours reading about the SCA. It's 3:00 am for me...damn I better like this.
I feel like my brain is going to fall out. And I haven't even gotten to the 31 page "Laws of the Middle Kingdom" thing. But it's all really interesting, so I don't want to stop. And on top of that, I have yet to discover what kind of restrictions I have as a 17 year old (I will be 17 by the time I get to any events). It says that in some kingdoms the age for things varies. I need that information. (Of course, I am willing to just go to events until I'm 18 before I start worrying too much about combat stuff, which I really want to do. Or I can just stick with archery.)
Edit: Okay, so I ended up scanning the laws, but that doesn't mean I didn't just do a s**t-load of reading...

I haven't gotten around to studying that yet. Yesterday I was working on a scene and saw some old family friends who came through town and stopped to visit me and my mom. Loved our dogs. The youngest was pretty funny, I had my dog halfway standing halfway lying on her back and the girl was like she doesn't like that you can tell by her eyes. I'm like she may not like it but she's used to it as I do this to her all the time besides she likes getting her belly rubbed and she gets antsy around the great Danes. Safe to say it was an interesting visit then I was comfy in bed and about 1:30 Lessa tells me something and would not leave me alone about it until I got up and turned my laptop back on and shot off an email to my partner in crime about it. I nearly think you're lucky you aren't co writing with someone Roki because you probably don't get pestered to get back out of bed and go send an email. I'm thinking I may need to seriously consider just keeping my writing notebook by my bed.
