Caleb finished the bandaging. "That should be good enough to hold."
Cornelius got off of the operation table. His foot went underneath his gun, kicking up, it flew into the air as his right arm caught it. He holstered the firearm on the sling on his back. "s**t, the bulkhead is not open, we can't get out, no way in hell they will let a ship leave after the constables get in. The operator maybe gone from post, the entire dock might be on lock down."
"I can open it." Rufus replied. "Derick, ya a** is comin' with me, we might 'ave to beat the sense outta man just to open it. Cornelius, start up tha' ship. We should be back in a couple of ticks." Rufus left the doctor's office, proceeding to run back to the lobby and through the main door.

Searil slipped the key into the coat's inner pockets. He closed the book. "Now then, Alice, we need to depose of the body, somehow.." He looked to the limp cat. "Put it into the main rubbish bin, other than that, it has been dealt with."
Alice nodded. "But, what did he want? He was he going to do?" She left the room, going to the large metal sheet with a handle that was attached to the wall. She pulled on the handle, the slide arcing out as she dropped the cat into it and closed it.
"My guess was he was going to ravenge and lay waste to whatever." Searil replied. He began to go up the several flights of stairs, Alice followed.

Alex watched from a distance as the constables seemed to be search and questioned people, the people asked mostly left the officer's with little or no infomation, he wondered what they were asking about. He cracked his knuckles and leaned against a building and watched the search, who knew, maybe they'd put up a bounty on someone, god knows he could use some easy money.

Joesph was pulled off to the side by one of the constables, after a few questions Joesph shrugged. "I am sorry sir, I was at work all day, the shipyard gets rather loud at times, I doupt anyone who was working around here heard anything" Joesph said. "Whatcha got in that bag?" The officer asked. "Just my googles...mask...and a few personal items". "let me see?" Joesph shrugged and lifted the bag off his shoulders and held it out for the officer to inspect. The officer pulled out the mask and googles and after a breif inspection set them on a crate, next he pulled out Joesph's, rather small, coin purse, setting that down. Next the officer pulled out Joesph's pistol. "You call this a personal item?" the officer asked. "I know what you are thinking, and I can assure you, I was at the shipyard all day, talk to my boss, He can tell you everything I've done today. I'll take you to him now even!" Joesph said. "Now can I please go? I have to go to the bank and get my wage before it closes. I give you my word, if I know anything about a shooting, I'll get hold of an officer as soon as I am able too" The Bobbie handed joesph his bag then left to keep searching. Joesph tossed his things back into his bag then slung it over his shoulder again and started walking. He stopped infront of a rather different looking ship. It looked rather old, nothing he'd seen before. He wondered if their was anyone inside.

"Uh, right, gotcha." Derek said, slipping his jacket back on over his shoulders. He felt around in his pockets for his handgun, then remembered he was ammo-less, anyway. It was nothing so much as a slightly expensive paperweight, now. He put it down. If he needed a weapon, he wold take one from any trouble they ran into, like Rufus had done before.
"I've been spending a lot of time here over the past few months." He said to Rufus. "I know a way to get to the controls without being seen, but we'll have a bloody time of getting back. I don't have a secret way for that."

((I have a project due in AP Euro soon, but since me and my group got everything done, I am free. Sorry for the delay.))
"We can't jus' run back tha' way we came?" Rufus questioned, running with him. Voices bounced and echoed up through the floor, someone was being interrogated. Either this meant they had more time or lost it, they could be liable for murder, after all.

Cornelius began to walk out of the room, clutching his chest as he began to walk painfully into the lobby.
Searil, finishing the flight of stairs, saw the pilot's bloody bandages. He rushed in closer to check.
"I am quite fine." Cornelius angerly mumbled as Searil lifted his right arm and placed it on his own back for support.
"Then tell me what the hell is going on!" Searil questioned back.
"Me and Rufus, and this other kid, we got into a pretty bad gunfight, constables are here, were ******** if I don't start the ship."
(it's terrible, I know, my next post will be better.)

((I dunno. Simple, yet gritty... I liked it.))

"I guess that'd work..." Derek said through heavy breaths. It was the oddest sensation he'd ever felt, fear mingled with excitement. Pure adrenaline. He was aware of every little detail of his body, from his footfalls on the floor to the cloth of his clothes rubbing against his skin. He knew they could be caught, but some part of him just didn't care.

((Now, THAT was a bad post.))

"'At gotta be tha' booth." Rufus said to himself, running towards the corner of the concrete room, where a small shack of concrete had placed. He stopped on his soles, wrenching the door handle that refused to move. "Bugga'" He took a small step backwards.
Then launched his right foot at the handle, it squarely hit the lock, pushing the door open with a nice raging swing. He looked to the controls. "....Blimey." He began to look through the complexity of the various bulkhead toggles.
37a...
38a.....
39a....
40a!
He flipped the switch, hearing some sort of machinery from up above.

Cornelius struggled to the controls with Searil, entering into the control room. Through the observation glass, the bulkhead that sealed them in began to open.

Rufus then came to a sudden deposition, hearing rapid foot fall from above. "...Perfect."

Suddenly all the constables started moving from the docks. Joesph noticed the bulkheads start to open. That's odd He thought. He pulled out a rather banged up brass pocketwatch and checked the time. Those doors don't open at this time he thought raising and eyebrow. Maybe some important shipment is comming in or leaving

Looks like someone needs to leave in a hurry Alex thought. He rotated his neck and followed after the constables. Perhaps if he caught the escapees he'd get some easy money, probally nothing much, but not much was abit better then nothing.

Cornelius began to turn the various toggles and switches on the large control panel next to the ship's wheel. The ships propellers began to spin, warming up.
Rufus looked to Derek, back at the ceiling, then back at Derek. "Alright, now listen to me, were gonna need to run like 'ell up there. I'll try to at least distract 'em as ya to tha ship, 'en I will get on, ok?"
The Freeglory began to slowly slide against the floor of the dock, making it's way to freedom. Searil looked at the corner of his sight, seeing through the window, what looked to be the entire policing force, in full outfit, telling the ship to stop.
"Cornelius, this is what is going to stop us?" Searil questioned.
"Not the slightest, they're just in the way."

"You sure you don't want me to help?" Derek asked, opening a cabinet on the opposite wall as the control panel. In it were small arms munitions, as the dock warehouses sometimes held dangerous of sensitive materials. He reached up and took down two boxes of shells for his handgun.
"I could do it. And, I know these docks better than anyone." He said as he loaded six shells into his gun before emptying the rest of the boxes into his pockets.

Rufus' eyes brightened. "'At was quick." Rufus' hands went back into his duster, withdrawing one of the firearms. "Now, when we go out 'ere, at most, shoot to wound, 'ey don't like seen 'ere buddies killed." He said as he pressed the copper release, the barrels, releasing. He plucked out the spent casings, keeping them in his hand, he opened back up the duster, dumping them into inner pocket as he began to take rounds from the belt on his left side of the duster, sown into the coat. He whipped the barrels closed as he holstered the firearm, pulling out the other. "Do not expect 'em to be relenting eitha." He whipped the gun's chambers shut, putting the coppery gun in his left hand as his right took back out the other. "Well 'en, we should be able to do this by sneaking half tha' way 'ere, 'en runnin' like 'ell." Rufus then left the control room.

Derek ran right behind him, handgun raised up, on the lookout for anyone.
"If we take a left up here, there's a small alley between a row of crates and a warehouse." He said to Rufus. He hoped that there wouldn't be too many people on the other side of that alley. He wasn't a very good shot, after all. He removed his hat and wiped his brow with it before returning it to his head.

Joesph walked up the steps of the bank, after going through the usual processes he walked out with abit more money then he had before going in. Now it was time to go home on the way he ran into the formen and stopped to chat abit about the work. A young man, who claimed he was with the police. "Sir, we need one of your best mechanic to come on a ship with us. If you could give me his address I'll go and get him". "Theirs no need, my absolute best, and hardest workers is right here, this is Joesph". Joesph smiled The officer and Joesph shook hands. "If you could come with me sir" The officer said and lead joesph to the police docks. He was given a mechanic uniform and a minute to change. Apperantly they were short handed in mechanics and were getting ready to persure some people.

Rufus took the left behind some pallets and crates. The claustrophobic alleyway was a lot smaller than he though, having to walk sideways in order to reach the other side.
At least it paid off, Rufus caught a glimpse of the Freeglory through a window, slowly moving as the bobbies began to surround the ship, holding up badges and drawing small revolver arms.
Rufus charged at the window. His legs then launched him off of the ground, fracturing the window into pieces as he rolled on the ground, quickly recovering. The silver firearm in his right hand was raised, then he pulled the trigger.
Instantly, the police looked to him.
"Get away from my ship."

[[Grounded on weekdays arrrrgh]]

Moe, quite confused at the proceedings, decided it would be in her best interest [and in the interests of the others] to not make a fuss, or try to interfere. She was quite crestfallen due to Caleb's reaction to her trying to help, so maybe that had to do with it; but she still did not want to involve herself.

((where are you guys, I'll edit so the location matches.))

Serrenedy 'harshly landed'. Sally called it a crash, but they were still in one piece, so a 'harsh' landing. She detached herself fro the controls and stretched-bones pooping from being locked in the position for hours. She got up, some of the soot falling off as she dusted more off. A fine layer still remained on her. Sally ran out of the ship as soon as the hatch was open. "LAND". Serrenedy rolled her eyes "Drama queen." Sally stuck her tounge out and Serrenedy laughed. "I'm going for supplies she declared-hoisting her hammer on her back. "You?" "Food." Sally replied. "We're out...again." She rolled her eyes.
