Without Spritley, Sartanion couldnt get what he wanted done. So Sar went back to his room and sat back at his desk observing some notes. So many imps and yet is seemed no work ever got done.

Kira woke up with the sound of the door opening and looked at Sar. He looked like he was troubled and wanted to help. "Whats wrong darling? Spritely not doing his job?" She asked, wanting to help somehow. She sat up on the bed and continued to pet Sparta.
(( lol, this would be weird- An dark overlord with his mistress **very uhh... playboy mansion style clothes** and a giant white wolf on a bed. XDDDD ))

"Im sure he is. but he isnt back yet and i have other things for him to do." Sar said. He clicked his fingers and the fire place rawed into life. After that he created an imp and simply booted him into the fire place. "Something is ready to go wrong, i can feel it."

Sparta growled softly and wanted Sar to make him a meal. Kira hushed him up and stood next to Sar. "Well, anything i can do to help?" she asks, smiling. Kira loves being a help to Sar, not so much anyone else. Mostly because he makes her feel better.

Sar made two more imps for Sparta and smiled hugging Kira. "I'm alittle suspicous of Askad. Thats all. He might be up to something." Sar said.

 One of Shade's arms disappeared into the inky blackness as he moved along the wall, then materialized beside his master once more. His arm slowly extended from the floor and rose until it was level with the desk, balancing the artifact delicately on his fingertips. Shade bowed his head and body while his arm extending from the floor remained perfectly still, "Of course my master, your wish is my command and my pleasure. I apologize for the delays, the magical traps and wards proved more difficult to avoid than I had anticipated."

Sparta started chasing the Imps out the door and Kira hugged Sar back, smiling. "Dont worry, i can teach him a lesson later." She said, smiling more. she sighed after a few minutes and laid on the bed, looking at the fireplace. "so, what you want to do now?"

"Yes, my predessor was quite good at his job. most of my designs are based around principles he created" Askad said as he took the artifact. It was a solid gold amulet with a large ruby in the centre which glowed slightly.
"Just as the texts said"
he took out the head band that still had the wraith magic around it.
"Go and guard the door to this lab. By now, the Overlord may be getting suspisous. I Don't want to risk his paranoia about my actions messing this up especially when that would be very bad, possibly worse. No one gets in until I give the word, absolutly no-one, understand? If Sar shows up, tell him I'm correcting my eariler mistake"

"Mmm im not sure. but i think im going to have to make sure everything is running smoothly." He said gently. "Why dont you come with me. i'll let you torment the imps if you like."

Shade gave a slow nod to Askad as he listened, "As you command, my master." with a bow he slowly slide away, sinking into the shadowy floor until at last his skeletal mask was engulphed by shadow. He reappeared at the entrance to the lab, making sure to close the large doors tight and to activate all the magical seals and wards his master had prepared. Slipping himself inside the tiny shadow of the keyhole only his tiny skull mask protruded outward, looking almost like a maccabre doorknob.

Kira smiled and nodded. "Sounds fun. Maybe. If their are a lot of lazy workers." she said, laughing and getting off the bed and taking Sar's hand, leading him out of the room.

"Indeed." He said happily being led along by Kira. "Excuse me one moment. SPRITLEY." He called out. The Alpha imp should have finshed the reaserch some time ago but for now he had more important taks.

Askad placed the amulet down on the desk next to the head band and started casting a spell. The wraith magiuc slowly start siphoning into the amulet.

Spritely jolted awake on the spot at the sound of his master calling his name. With a start he leapt to his feet and dashed off to find the overlord and when he did he stood fearful but duty-ready. "Masta?"

"Spritley, Askad is up to something. keep an eye on him. and watch out for Shade, he could be anywhere." Sartanion said. Then he turned back to Kira. "So where to Kira."
