I nodded at Kahlan. These people. . . They were all trying to help me. I sighed and then when the bartender mentioned food i realized that i was extremely hungry. I clutched at my stomach and looked at him. "food would help." I said finding it hard to concentrate on anything

"Well I have food at the Bar, but I don't want to move you more then necessary." She got up and walked towards what appeared to be a kitchen.
"What kind of food do you have here Jairn? Anything edible?"
She wanted to get going but was worried with her head injury she wouldn't be able to get herself to this world let alone three other people.
I have to try..

"Ofcourse I do, every one of my hideouts are fully stocked, I never know how long I may be at one or when." I walked into the kitchen and opened a door to the pantry and the door to a hidden refrigerator, both full of various foods. "You don't even have to pay me back, well free beer some time would be great." I winked at her and turned back to the pantry.

Food. "I guess I will try to get us something to drink from the bar." I go across the street and grab a couple mugs, and a keg. I bring it over. "Not done." I go back and get another couple mugs and another keg. I get back. "Um, hold on." I go back and get yet another keg and the tap. I get back. "There we go, three kegs enough beer for ya'll?" I tap it and fill the mugs. "It goes on my tab."

I look at all the beer he was bringing over. "oh yeah lets get drunk before an expedition into another world." Regardless I grabbed a cup and slowly started sipping at it. Soon enough i was drunk again hardly moving at all. I hadn't even eaten yet when i passed out.

Pressing her fingers to her temples, she watched the guys drink. She didn't want to hinder her ability to travel anymore then necessary so instead of drinking she ate a simple turkey sandwich. Soon Jarlaxel was drunk and passed out, the other two had a better tolerance.
"You two better stay coherent after you eat I'm going to need both of you to carry him. We will leave as soon as you've had your fill."

I chugged the remaining half of my fourth mug and clapped my hands toether. "Alright! I just remembered I have a strecher we can use...and other medical supplies...should I have told you about that? Oh well...." I walked out of the room, and came back several minutes later with a strecher under one arm and a small basket of medical supplies in the other hand.

I set down the rest of my fifth. "I got the suppiles." I grab my knapsack. "I am more of a medic than all of you, better I have these for immediate use." I store them away. "How are we going to do this?" I look at Jairn. "I mean, feet or head?"

Kahlan shook her head and pushed off the wall.
"Jairn take his head side, Jacques take his feet side." At his incredulous look she explained. "Jairn has had less drinks, I'd rather you drop Jarlaxel's feet then his head."
She waited for them to get ready, once they were both in position each carrying a side, she placed a hand on each of their shoulders.
"I don't know how this will feel to you two as humans, so bear with me, it won't hurt you just might feel like your being stretched."
She concentrated on the world and they were off, it was easier then she thought but still caused her an incredible headache. When they landed she fell on her knee's and had to sit there a few moments rubbing her head, before they could ask if she needed assistance she was up.
"This way.."
She led the way past a cliffside, all along the wall were caves of various sizes, when she found the one she wanted (luckily on the bottom) she led them to it's entrance.
"Wait here"
She went inside, her previous friend was home. He was a dragon, not like the one that Vincent called forth but a healing dragon, white and blue.
The dragon, Sharrin, looked up, slightly taken aback from Kahlan being in her den.
"Usstan xun naut ulnar, Usstan uil ulu tlu khalessev."
At the familiar phrase the dragon settled, if this woman knew the sacred words she was to be trusted.
Kahlan explained how she knew of the world and how she had visted about a century prior. She re-explained the protection curse, and then the state of her friend outside, she didn't however mention her headaches.
"Oh course I will heal your friend bring him in.."

WEll it wasn't that bad...it only felt like having large barbed hooks pull me inside out.We lowered Jarlaxle carefully to the ground and then I sat down hard. "That wasn't very fun...." It certainly wasn't like what happened when I first went to another realm. Suddenly my hat started...vibrating? I took it off and looked at it, the black and gold feather I had worn since the masquarade was...glowing? I took the feather out and found that it was the feather, not the hat, that was vibrating. "Well....this is new." Weren't magical items supposed to be activated by...something? Maybe it was because of this place?

I stare curiously at it. "Where did you get it?" I sit down next to him and keep staring at it. Sooo, alluring... I wanted it... "You must tell me, where you got that thing." I felt buzzed, yeah that was it, I was buzzed, a little too much beer.

Sharrin looked from one man to the other then down at Jarlaxel's form.
"You didn't mention that you friends were two humans and a Drow." she said a little miffed.
"I didn't think it would matter." Kahlan tried sounding innocent. In reality she knew the dragons weren't fond of the humans or the Drow both races having chased them off their respected planets.
"I promise these three men are different from the rest of their races can you please head the Drow?" Kahlan pleaded seeing the dragons opinions change rather quickly.
"As you wish.."
Sharrin crawled over to Jarlaxels body, using her claws to move the blanket they had placed on him. She grunted and mumbled something about children these days and their battles. (She was well over two thousand years old)
"He might feel some discomfort." Sharrin warned and then started, running her forefeet gently over the wounds.

In the back of my mind i felt some a slight pain. It started growing bigger and bigger and soon i was conscious. I started freaking out. A dragon was rubbing its paw against me but i assumed it was trying to pin me down and started trying to get to my feet with no avail. From the shock i momentarily reverted to speaking my normal drow language "vel'bol lil vithin uoi'nota!" I screamed scared beyond my wits and in a huge amount of pain

I shrugged, put the feather back in my hat, and put the hat on my head, suddenly I went rigid and fell over, what the heck was I seeing?!! I took off the hat as fast as I could, was everyone just.....? I slowly put the hat back on, looking toward the cave and plainly looking away from any human, my mouth dropped open, I could see the inside of the cave....through a wall!

I look at the dragon. Then try to calm Jarlaxle down. I throw him to the ground so the dragon could do his job. "Jarlaxle it will be okay!" I yell over his screaming.
