"Fair enough..." he said, "Doesn't answer my question as to where you think you're going." He was growing tired of this runaround. Reina wasn't going to get away this time. Raine made him promise not to tell her who killed them. Reina little did she know was the cause of the deaths of Vale's and Matt's wives. Nephilim targeted an eight year old Reina with her song driving her mad. Matt's wife went first, didn't even know what hit her. And of course Raine couldn't hurt her own daughter. As for Matt's daughter, all they found was a puddle of blood and an arm, they searched for years and never found her though. When Reina came to she had no memory of what she'd done all she knew was that daddy was holding a dead mommy. Then Vale concocted the memory of the humans capturing Raine in one of their raids on the underworld. They always raided the underworld but they of course would never have been able to capture Raine. She had been as strong as Vale if not more so. With her memory altered Raine blamed him for not being fast enough to save her. She'd never even questioned the lack of human bodies where they were. Matt was clueless as to who actually killed them and Reina's involvement but resented Vale for getting at least one family member out, while his was destroyed.

Vale Opened his wings and was up in the air following her. He wouldn't forget her order. 'Protect my child!' she had told him. At that time Nephilim resided in Matthew kingdom. Matt who had ascended to Emperor of the Entire underworld. After his disappearance he'd put into motion the plan to claim the throne from his immortal father. It had been 10 years but Vale was still fuming. And when news reached the DR that the fallen angel had been seen in Matthew's country Vale in his rage attacked the kingdom directly tearing it apart trying to find him. Matt took it as a direct threat and with the loss of his wife and child was quite pissed himself, not to mention the standing grudge he held against him. The duel ripped the palace apart each sparing nothing, but Vale was just slightly more powerful but feel into Nephilim's grasp when he provided the chains that bound Vale.

Jeral sat on her couch. It was quite comfortable. He'd healed himself and put a suit made of shadows on so as not to get the room dirty. And thus he waited for her to enter the room, she was not escaping him, as a dragon she may have been stronger but, he was more experienced and he knew her better than anyone, she was more like him than she knew.

Reina couldn't help but practically hiss when she saw her father on her couch, she looked like a cat with her shackles up, teeth bared as if he was a threat "Get out of my home" she turned to point and saw Matt behind her "Goddamn, it's an invasion of men in my place, leave!"

"Matt... we're old friends but I'll rip your head off if you keep trying to hurt my daughter. I'm damn sure going to keep my promise to Raine!" Vale's voice was cold as he talked, like it had been for so many years.

Reina grabs Matt's hand yanking him so that is sword didn't hit anything "Father, I can take care of myself and whoever you are, if you want to fight him, take it outside I do NOT need my apartment getting destroyed"
