Sai closed her fingers into a fist as if she caught something in her gras, as it caused the portal to suddenly close making Tegral loose his balance from the shifting force. The beast dashed forward infront of Sai, and growled as a sonic Dark wave was shot, from its mouth as a shield for any misleading attack form his cannon that would be sent towards them, as the attack would be shallowed into a dark void, and sent behind the tower into the forest.

"b*****d children. You'd think their minds would be better at projection." KB complained, as he put the finishing touches on his unit. It was now fully combat-functional, at least, in theory. He still hadn't had a chance to test the rockets, so there was the slight chance of them not locking onto their target properly. The other weapons however seemed to be designed well enough, and the power source hooked up properly. The only other matter had been the armor. He still wasn't sure how it'd react to the force of the arcane elements after they'd been drained of their core parts. Obviously most ice spells and effects wouldn't do much, since the unit would constantly move away from the frigid air and ice magic wasn't very much of a lock-on form. Chances were most ice and fire would simply smash into the metal plating to fall away harmlessly. Electricty offered the prime advantage, given that even when the arcane element was removed the bolts often carried the sheer physical force required to do damage.
Shrugging, he patted the side of the insectoid machine, happy to hear the clanging sound of his metal hand on the metal of his creation. Devoid of any biological components, and yet the thing would react as if alive, to a degree. Without all the funny things that would keep a soldier back, such a fear. The things that would and could define personality, erased. Now only one question remained.
How the hell was he going to get it out of the building.

Tegral's wordless snarl errupted the cannon on his arm, but it's aim shifted slightly. Instead of aiming for Sairys and her little monster it aimed for the strange portal of wind. Fire blazed violently as the air was consumed in plasmic fury. The sheer energy required to produce a bolt of plasma was intense the air around the stream of unreal energy scortch away, without even becomeing super heated as one might expect.
Tegral's plan was to create enough of an energy distortion to destroy the portal, assumeing that Sairys did infact use some sort of energy (whether that be arcane, mystic, spiritual or what ever) to create her little portal.

"Hnn. Well then, I'll need to find a way out for you. Hopefully there's something we can do that avoid blasting a hole in the wall eh? As well as avoid that pesky magic." KB said to the thing before him. Oddly enough, the insectoid machine chirped back in response, a couple of lenses swivelling about to lock onto KB's metal body. The gentle purr of the lense zooming could be heard, as well as a couple more chirps and blips. "Excellent. The first step towards intelligence is, awareness." KB stated, as he held up a small mirror. The unit was fully updated on itself, and knew very well that the others would follow in it's wake. Shutters spun shut, to cover each lense before sliding open once more. Effectively the unit had blinked as it looked at the mirror. Being able to see itself offered no tactical advantage, but in the future scanning may be impossible and optic recognition might be required.
"Ah. You'll be able to se fine without your eyes. Though, for good measure let's just test the last couple of things before the actual field test, alright?" KB nodded to the insectoid, as he moved to a nearby computer. The terminal was linked to the unit, to watch each and every thing as it worked. They'd begin by testing reflexes and reactions, to be followed by basic computing and the knowledge base. Afterwards, they'd come to test the weapons themselves, and the reliability of the method in which the weapons were revealed.

"Well then. That's everything. You are officially combat-functional." Having said that, KB moved to the underbelly of the unit and opened a panel. Checking a couple of things one last time, he nodded. There was no use in him still being inside his body, now that his work was done. The mechanical body of KB would move to a chair and power down for the moment. The unit was well within contact range via a different source. The unit itself shifted a couple of times, before it simply vanished entirely. KB didn't like the idea of moving the unit via magic, given the variables. However, he didn't really haev much choice in this case.

The portal Infact was sealed, and No Whirls of wind was emitting from it. it just hovered in it's place, as Sai closed it, She waited for his respond. Seeing how he was determined to destory the portal, as the current shifting in his aim was for the glimming green portal. her alchemy Skills were quite well known and ancient. her portals are nothing but a fragment of what she can summon up, what people seem to forget, worry about what comes out of the portal not the portal itself.

Tegral straightend himself, patting at the dust on his pant legs. "Fine, you said you could help me," Tegral repeated, "How do you think," Putting a high emphasis on the word think Tegral reconfigured his plasma cannon to take the form of his right arm. The truth of the matter was Sairys had very little Tegral could, or would, want. Her mastery was, apparently, in bio-mechanics, while Tegral was more into the weapon development and hard packed science of artificial intelligence. "You can help me?" He finished in a resoundingly smug tone of voice.

Sai lowered her guanlet to softly, letting it hang at her side for a moment before she raised it and placed it at her waist, as she brushed aside the loose strands of hair form her face. her eyes holding a bright Sky blue color.
" At first i was offering a place to Stay, for a wonderer..curse my hospitality...Hearing the doubt in your tone of voice, may seem i change my mind..."
The beast lowered the shield and pounced itself beside Sairys, as she turned rather annoyed, giving her back to tegral.

Tegral drew a slow breath, an act more for show then actual need, and exhaled slowly. No, definately not a good idea to get tangled up with the woman. A sickening sweet smile twisted it's way onto Tegral's lips as he started after Sairys. A slow walk, one that she would easily be able to outpace if she moved at a brisk walk.
"Sairys, I believe your name was. Hold on just a moment." Tegral's sensory system placed a grid over the Emeral Tower, seismic readers pulsing each time his worn boots touched the earth. Ionic read outs piled across the right side of his HUD, a rough estimate of the structure bloomed to life just below the read outs. A targeting system sprouted to life and targeted the tower behind Sairys, and her little pet. The woman, however, was excluded from this rather hostile evaluation. Bio-graphs attempted to gather information on the life forms inside the structure while an electro-graph searched for any artifical intelligence.

Her beast stopped first, then Sai, as she slightly turned her head to glance over her shoulder. Her dress fluttered slightly from her sudden change of movement. Tegral's radar would only pick up the tower's layout, as Sai placed a barrier so that the building seemed empty, hiding her growing army within. the only forms he would see would be hers, Damien's and the three kids, and of course the beast at her side. She didnt respond, as she was aggrivated. Offering help to a wonderer, and for him to pose an attack on her tower as a "test". He was lucky she wasn't in a bad mood.

For once, since he was rebuilt, Tegral surrendered, willingly, to the strange flamelike haze. That heatless, lightless, haze that engulfed his body, starting from his feet and working upwards. Slowly, each and every inch of his body was changing. The gleaming silver of untouched metalic skeletal structure, the scortched black of metal that had been affected by Draeken's fire. The burnt and charred clothing being eaten away and replaced as the fire enveloped his body.
"I can't, nor could any man, ignore such a beautiful prize infront of his eyes." Hidjie said, the medium length of golden hair resting lazily on his head. His eyes of crystalized azure blue had a soft twinkle to them as he continued walking closer to Sairys. "I apollogize, but I believe we've gotten off on the wrong footing." Turning his head to the left, slightly, he bowed his head in respect and stopped walking. "My name is Hidjie," He rolled his hand infront of his chest, in an elegant gesture, and stopped holding his outstretched hand, palm upwards, towards Sairys, "And you are?" His smile made him seem boyish, but his eyes, and his body, made him out to be the man that he was. Entering into his thirties, maybe at best, Hidjie still retained that sort of charm that the younger men possessed.

Sai's eyes held no emotion, it was as if staring into pool sof shapphires, being illuminated by a deep fire within her. Her eyes slightly trailed the changed Man, and back up. watching the man's gestures, the beast sat like a faithful dog beside Sai. Its eyeless sockets unable to tell where it glanced.
" Not interested..."

Hidjie's smile faltered and shattered for a moment as he straightened himself out. Now standing errect his smile was back. "Good dog." he murmured softly to the animal sitting beside Sairys, though he obviously hadn't taken his eyes off Sairys or else he would have noticed some key differences between that...thing...and a dog, for starters the empty eye sockets would have been a dead giveaway.
"I believe you misunderstood my intentions, my dear. I'm just asking you for a name. Or wait...do angels have names?" He paused, silently pondering his question. "No, of course not...you must be Venus." He smiled up at her, "Or maybe Aphrodites? No wait, you must be Cytherea!"

Sai turned to fac ehim with her arm and guanlet arm crossed acrossed her chest. her red dress, fluttering with her movement and layed still. It hugged, softly her chest, as it curved along her waist and rather released down to her ankles. A high slit at her right thigh shows a black strap, as a assessory. The black ribbon's of her heels tied rather snuggly at her ankles. Holding a high Age, Sai held the youth of a mere girl in her mid twenties.
"....Sairys"

"Sairys? Goddesses yern for such a name" Hidjie cooed softly as he folded his arms, muscular without appearing too bulky, over his chest to nod, agreeing with his previous statement. "Sairys..." He tested the name on his tongue, decided it had a sort of bitter sweet taste to it, and smiled. For the first time since Hidjie had come out he had just noticed the creature and recoiled almost instantly. "Whoa!! What the hell is that thing?!" He shouted as his hand immediately went for the stark black handgun inside of his finely pressed suit's jacket. Black, darker then the night, the faberic rustled slightly in the breeze. It's silky smooth texture gently rubbing and sliding against Hidjie's body.
