He could still feel the heat on his cheek where Namine's hand had rested for so long. With the girl pressed against him, he felt normal for once in a long time like he was just another teenager with the same issues as the next. Not one who had inner turmoil and a deep Darkness. Riku didn't take his eyes off the petite blonde as she spoke. He frowned. "I'm sorry. I didn't realize..." His lips pulled up in a slight smile after a moment. "Namine, what those girls said...it's not true. You're something. Something important and special to me."

Namine Miss Memory Witch  The petite blonde smiled when Riku began to apologize. "Oh, don't apologize. After all, it's not your fault. How could you have known?" The girl gave a light giggle, her spirits lighter than ever before. She fell silent for Riku began speaking again and his words made her breath catch in her throat.
First off, how had he heard? Had he been around when those girls had said that to her? She hadn't thought so... And then, he continued on saying she was something. Something important and special to him. The girl's porcelain cheeks stained a brillant, rosy red as she pulled back up to look at him, a look of surprise in her eyes. He did care. "H-h-how did y-you k-know w-what they s-said?" She stuttered over her words as she looked into his eyes. Suddenly the scene in the cafeteria took on a different meaning as Namine put two and two together. The girl Riku had went after was the one who'd said those words to her. After a moment, she shook her head and her voice was more composed. "Nevermind it doesn't matter."
The petite blonde continued to gaze at Riku, her crystaline blue eyes locked on his. "Riku... Thank you," she said quietly with a small smile playing on her lips. "You already know that you're important and special to me, too." The petite blonde murmured, the blush still giving color to her face.

Namine had made no hint that he had been hurting her. So how would he had known but that didn't mean that the guilt disappeared. He still felt bad for making her hurt along with him. It had been unnecassary. Riku's eyes lightlened with amusement as the blonde began to stumble over a short question. He raised one brow at the stammered question. He was going to think of an answer but Namine said it didn't matter.
Riku closed his mouth as she whispered his name. Then came the 'thank you'. He was about to say something again and Namine told him that he was also important and special. He cleared his throat in embaressment and looked away as a faint blush spread across his cheeks. His eyes glanced back at Namine, but his head stayed tilted away from her. "Uhm...r-right..." It was then that he noticed how Namine was blushing for the first time.

Namine Miss Memory Witch A look of surprise flashed across Riku's face and his eyes glanced away from her but the girl had already dropped her gaze so she was looking down. Her body was still pressed against his, his arms still around her waist. The girl glanced up briefly and was surprised to find that Riku was blushing but she quickly looked away again. After Riku had stuttered that, it was quiet. Namine didn't answer. She couldn't think of anything to say.
Silence reigned for a few more moments before she spoke quietly. "M-maybe we should get back to the others," the petite blonde said, pushing back the fluttery feeling in her stomach. If she was making Riku uncomfortable, maybe it would be better if she left. Not that she wanted to. She wanted to stay. She didn't want them to leave and go to the others. Not yet. But if he wanted do, she would.

The first thing that came into his mind was Roxas. His eyes narrowed as he glared into the distance. He was pissed at himself suddenly for even thinking that but he let the emotion waver away and hoped that Namine had not noticed it and would not question it if she did in fact see it. The silvernette looked back at the girl. "But namine, I have a question...two actually. Where do we...stand now..?"

Namine Miss Memory Witch Namine was unable to keep her eyes away from Riku for long; she ended up glancing back up at him, her crystal blue eyes looking up from beneath her long eyelashes. The petite blonde was just about to gently disengage herself from Riku though she really didn't want to leave. However before she had a chance to move, Riku's voice echoed in the air around her.
A light pink colored her face at his question and for a moment she dropped her gaze before taking a deep breath and looking up at him again. "I...don't know, Riku." Namine said quietly. She knew what she wanted to tell him. That they were together and would never be parted for anything. But she didn't know if that was what he wanted to hear. Or if that even held an inkling of truth about how he truly felt about her. Because it was the truth about how she felt about him. Maybe he didn't think of her in that way. Ugh. Feelings were confusing. "I know what I want to say..." The girl mumbled though it was plently loud enough for Riku to hear.

 Axel just sat there and watched as the events of lunchtime circled him. How Naminé simply left to talk to Riku. Speaking of the silvernette, he could smell a hint of the cigarette smoke in the air. He thought to himself, 'Ah, the cigarette. The cigar's b***h. It's funny, I have control over fire and he's the one smoking.' Axel watched as the ever impatient Lakayna got up multiple times, one for food and the other for air. Watched as that blind kid, Lux, knew exactly where to go to follow Lakayna. He finally came to his senses as Kairi asked him a question. He looked at her straight in the eye and said, "You know Kairi, at this moment I really couldn't care less. It's the first day of school and already Hell sprang to Earth with legions of demons, evil laughter filling the air and volcanoes springing up from the ground at random moments, intervals and places." Axel took in a big breath. That was a mouthful.

"Thatk you Lux," she replied with a slight nod.
Lakayna held one arm in the other, leaning against the wall once more. She looked towards the ocean. The sun shon over everything. The way the light caught them, made Lakayna's golden eyes sparkle like gemstones. Her skin seemed to glow softly in the light as a soft breeze blew by. It made her shiny and soft light lavender hair dance softly around her face and ruffle slightly the skirt that she wore. Lakayna's eyes moved over the grounds lazily. She noticed a few boys eyeing her, and they all seemed interested. Lakayna smiled softly, but none of the boys outside made her feel anything differently than just schoolmates, or perhaps friends. There was one boy here who had stood out among all the nameless faces of the crowd. Just thinking about him sent Lakayna's heart soaring and made that fluttering feeling apear in her stomach. She wondered though, how did he feel about her? And were her feeling for him true; or just a passing crush like so many in high school were?

"But you dont have to worry if anybody finds out their not gonna believe something like that... but thats because they dont know whats out their..." Lux said with a shrug sitting down, with the sun shining down on his face he could feel its warmth and he started to go off into his own thoughts. But there were a few he said outloud"I wanna go back home..." He mummbeled laying back against the grass he was on, then he started to mummble some other things about Heartless and some other dumb things.

Axel nodded a goodbye to Kairi then walked over to where Lakayna and Lux were. Standing by them, he looked over the horizon and said, "You know, I never really liked the ocean but that just might be because of my affinity towards fire. Demyx though, he loved the ocean. Something about it making him alive....when he was a Somebody, either he was a merman, or a fish. That would completely explain it."

Lux and Axel already knew, so it was okay to talk with them about it; in a low voice.
"Even though I'm...half-dargon," she forced herself to say in a whisper, "And I too have powers over fire, I've always loved the ocean. When my mother was still around, when I was little, my family and I traveled to all kinds of worlds. I'm still unsure of how my mother was able to bring all of us, but she did, and I saw so many places."
She lifted up a charm bracelet that was wrapped around her wrist. Many of the charms glinted on the sun. On was a wooden pumpkin with a funny face carved into it. Another was in the shape of a dolphin, with crystalline eyes sparking in the sun. Still another was a red rose and a different one a lilly. Another was a simple spherical, shining stone and another was in the shape of a dragon (from the place where Lakayna was born) and another she had was shaped like a lightning bolt that glimmered in the sun's rays. Lakayna lowered her arm, holding it in the other again.
"I miss her still, but I know she's always with me right here," she added, placing a freed hand over her heart.

Axel looked at her bracelet as she held it up. He could guess what worlds she went to; Halloween Town, Atlantis, Beast's Castle, the lily was stumping him, Disney Castle, Land of the Dragons which was probably where she was born and Olympus Colosseum. Axel closed his eyes, smiled, and shook his head. He said, "It must be nice knowing you're family. I can't remember much of mine, but if it's from being a Nobody or just being too young at the time I probably won't know for a while."

Lakayna looked at her bracelet again, another breeze blowing past the trio. She remembered where each of the charms cme from. The lily was her favorite. It came from a place called Hollow Bastion. Lakayna remembered her mother giving it to her and telling her where it was from. It was a world Lakayna had never been to before herself, but would like to visit someday.
"Someday, I'll see those places again," she said, looking up at the sky now, "I just know I will."
Lakayna closed her gold eyes, humming a song her mother had taught her when she was little. Lakayna had a nice voice. It wasn't as amazing as some sounded, but it didn't sound at all bad. The song lasted few minutes before it ended.
"I wonder if I'll ever find the right person for me as well," she mumbled to the sky after it was over.
The song itself had been a love song. Who it was about was unknown, but it was definately about love. If there were words to it then that would be evident. The image of the one she had feelings for already filled Lakayna's mind. It was Axel. She realized this, but even with what he was, what he had been in the past; it didn't bother the young girl. She could see past all that, to a being much kinder. He may not have a heart, but feelings were still there.

"Just be happy Axel you could have ended up being something much worse then a Nobody..." Lux said, though he figured the red head would think there was nothing worse then being a Nobody. He started thinking about his own home world, Enchanted Dominion. Just thinking the name made him home sick. He looked at Lakanya as she decided to go visit the worlds again he looked at each of the charms he knew where most were from but wasn't sure about the lilly"The lilly its from Radiant Gardens isn't it?" He asked remembering that his grandmother(who wasn't really his grandmother) had told him that was its original name but it had been renamed Hollow Bastion since so many people forgot its name.

Axel smiled softly at Lakayna as she hummed the song. He looked at Lux when she was done and said, "I am happy, I guess. It's not like I'm dead, but the effect is essentially the same. Hopefully I can be completely normal again. In the words of Pinocchio, 'I wanna be a real boy!'" Axel said the last part in a slightly high pitched voice. He then whispered to Lakayna so that Lux wouldn't hear, "I'm sure you're gonna find him. You just gotta know where to look." Axel was trying to be supportive, yet on the inside something was tearing at him. He didn't like it one bit.
