Dalcon stays behind Iri, peeking owlishly. He doesn't make any definite move, since the last girl he met that wasn't Iri kicked his a** and went home without her head. "...What's with her?"

"Hmmm. No, I'm alright Big Sis~"
She narrowed her eyes at Dalcon and grinned from ear-to-ear before walking towards them, her sandals squishing with water.

(( Gotta abandon my sister's cabel Internet for satellite at home. *sniffles* Be back later. ))
Iri looks down at Dalcon and mutters, "That's not nice." Then, with a smile she says to Syn, "So, how've you been? Are Luna and Neko doing alright? It's been a while."

"Didn't mean anything by it," Dalcon says with a sniff. "She's wet, is all..." His eyes widen as she approaches, and the smile is just unsettling after the other grinning psychopath.

"We've been well, but you two seem to not be. Did she give you that much trouble?"
She glances at Dalcon midway through her sentence before focusing her attention back on Iri. She walks up and wraps her arms around Iri's leg to hug her, and sticks her tongue out at Dalcon. Even though she seems to be sopping wet, her touch is as dry as ever.

Of course she's not wet. It's just her illusions. Syn seems to try her best to appear as real as me or Dalcon. When she's not at her tricks.
The woman crouches down, breaking the hug just long enough the reach Syn's level and warmly embrace the girl. As creepy as she can be, the part of Iri that enjoys the abnormality of her lifestyle finds it to be oddly endearing. Besides, who can resist that adorable little face?
"Dear, please don't tease the boy. He's had a rough time." Iri fondly runs her fingers through the girl's short hair. Then, "So, how did you know about the woman?" Iri has her suspicions, but keeps them to herself. Something's already clicked in the back of her mind.

Dalcon gives a short 'hmph' and laces his fingers behind his head, pretending to ignore the affectionate acts of either one, or both. However, his eyes pulse green for a second as he rolls his eyes. Annoyance. Who can resist that adorable little face? Dalcon can, that's who.

"Daedalus? It's hard not to. She runs her mouth enough."
Syn steps back scratches her head a little, smiling embarrassedly.
"And he should grow up. Only babies pout when they're having a tough time. kukuku~ Everyone else sucks it up and gets over it."

Iri sighs and puts her face in her hands. That's not gonna go over well with the kid.
"Now, now, that's not nice. You're like sugar to me, Syn. Why can't you be nice to Dalcon, too?"
As she speaks, Iri thinks. The connection wasn't exactly obvious, but it makes sense. Makes Iri wonder, though.
The avian stands up and heads toward her dorm, motioning for the two of them to follow her.

He rolls his eyes again, perhaps showing just how mature he is by not reaching out and throttling the little snot. "Kukuku. Yep. I'm the one who needs to grow up." He wanted to say more, to bring himself to her level and start a fight, but he understands that's probably what she wants, and what Iri doesn't.
"Sure you want me to come along?"

"See big Sis? We can agree on some things."
She snickers and nods smartly before following closely after Iri.
"What is it?"

Iri opens the door and slips inside, saying, "One moment," as she does. When she comes out, she's sans naginata and fans. All she has on her now is her kunai.
"Okay, Dalcon. I'm sure you want a place to rest." She walks over and knocks on the door to the right of her room. "You can stay in here. If at any time you need me, don't be afraid to knock and wake me up. I won't care. And, if you want something to eat, the kitchen is that way." Iri briefly gives the directions.
The avian looks at Syn. "You know you're welcome here, sweets, as long as you don't try out your illusions on the boy. Please, please, don't pull anything on Dalcon. You can freak me out all you want, but I don't want you kids picking on each other." Despite Iri's constant insistance that she doesn't want kids, she's starting to sound like a mother hen.
Now she looks at the both of them. There's a silence as she thinks. So much has been and is still going on, and yet, all she really wants to do right now is sleep. Oh well. No rest for the weary. "Now what?" She leaves the next move up to the kids.

Dalcon shrugs, muttering something to the effect of 'I'm good.' He'd normally be more appreciative, at least towards Iri, but Syn has completely put him off. He wanders in the direction of the kitchen, waving somewhat absently.

There was a knock on the Kaze dojo door. It was Kaimen, come to pay a visit.
