Looking between the twilif and the Constellation, Zahara blinked a few times. She was horribly embarrassed to realize she had not considered payment. Though a flower... a flower is simple enough. This could be fun; it seems as though the little one wanted to be rid of me.
Smiling shyly Zahara looked over at the misty Constellation. "Noel, is it not? I--I am afraid I know more of you from mutual acquaintances than from speaking to you personally. Azra'iel sends his greetings and hopes to be able to travel this way to at least see your inn, though he likely will not be able to stay..." Zahara cut herself off, realizing that once again, she was babbling. At least Noel was not as intimidating as some of the other Constellations of her acquaintance... but still, the babbling had to stop! Clearing her throat nervously, she looked up and offered Noel a weak smile. "You require a flower then, as Chiaki says?"

Noel blinked.. Azra'iel? Oh.. He smiled at the memories of the his meeting with the constellation.. He was a very... Well, wise creature.. Yes.. I do require a flower.. But if you do not have one, I have a garden out back.. You can pick one, but only one. And if the vase doesn't accept it... I fear you have to go back on your travels and find one that suits you.
He smiled again, knowing that there was a flower in the back that would suit her wonderfully.

Waving him off lightly, Zahara broke into a true, and decidedly impish, grin. "Oh, a flower is not a problem at all, so long as you accept more... non-traditional ones. Though I cannot wait to see your garden in the morning sunlight, it smells glorious from the path! Chiaki, would you come here for a moment before you head off to sleep? I have something for you as well." Zahara waited, wondering if the grumbling twilif would heed her request.

Chiaki stared at the constellation a moment, torn between her deep-seeded suspicion... and that dratted curiosity she couldn't seem to shake. 'Asako's influence, no doubt,' she thought, with a wave of irritation at the idea that the silly little twilif could have influenced her attitude.
She was just about to spin around and refuse, quashing said curiosity, when she realized she actually had no idea where she would be sleeping anyway.
'Great... look interested or look like an idiot.'
She sighed and scuffled her feet before nodded. "Fine, but make it quick."

Noel smiled and nodded, sitting down behind the desk and watched the two for a moment, before going back to the kitchen to finish his dishes.

At the twilif's sulky response, Zahara looked down at her hands, cupping them as though cradling a handful of water and concentrated on the light she had absorbed from the night sky. Slowly, a golden glow grew in her palms, forming a delicate blossom made of starlight. Concentrating harder, Zahara grew the first flower to a decent size and caused a second to bud and just barely open. Releasing a soft sigh, the light in her eyes slightly diminished from the expenditure of energy, Zahara placed the large bloom on the book Noel has mentioned and looking down at Chiaki, offered her the smaller flower. "A small bit of guiding light for you Chiaki, so you do not feel so alone." Still watching the twilif, she addressed the other Constellation "It should not die... though it will fade if it does not get a little light every day..." Looking back up at Noel with a tired smile, Zahara watched to see if her flower was acceptable.

Chiaki gaped, staring at the little bud of light in confusion.
This didn't fit at all with what she'd learned of constellations... 'first-hand, even,' she thought bitterly for a moment. But she was shocked almost out of her wits when she found that bitterness a little harder to hold than before.
At that point, she realized her mouth was still open and closed it with an audible 'snap'.
"W-why?"

Noel nodded in acceptance, having come back, and placed the flower in the cabinet, on it's own, tiny dish. The flower didn't need water, just light, so putting it on the shelf above the other was perfect. Moonlight fell on it radiantly. Such a lovely flower... Thank you so much.. A sad smile adorned his features as the went to the staircase. I believe.. It's time for bed. You may do as you wish, your rooms have your flowers on them. Good night, guests. I'll see you in the morning. With a wave, he dissolved into mist and reappeared in his room, collapsing on his bed.

"If you would," Kliment began, finding himself staring hard at his feet. He could feel a familiar heat to his face, but he ignored it and continued to stare down the ground. "I wouldn't mind having some help getting... up the stairs."
Ugh. What had he come to? He knew he wouldn't be able to get up the stairs on his own, and so, wasn't even going to attempt it. Besides, it looked like Cuire was going to burst into tears if he didn't oblige him, and it wouldn't be good of him to hurt the feelings of the only other creature who'd been kind to him.
Rubbing his arm and looking a bit embarrassed, Kliment bowed his head and looked to the side.
"As long as it... won't be a bother." Tch! It wasn't even that deep of a wound, but it hurt like hell. He silently cursed himself for his weakness, especially knowing it was in the presence of so many others, now.

Cuire nodded, and slipped an arm around Kliment, slowly helping him up the stairs. He gazed around to find the room with the black rose on it and smiled when he realized it was the one closest to the stares. "I.. Um.. I need your hand to open the door.."
Noel had specially designed this inn in a manner that only those who had a flower could open a door.

Flower. JournalRose drifted angrily into the inn. 'I don't wanna be here!' she thought to herself. It was crowded. She did not like this. Why did Kitty have to do this? She just settled on one of the counters in her lanturn.

Smiling gently at Chiaki, Zahara barely stifled a yawn. "Why? Because... you seem lost, and somewhat lonely. Hopefully, that reminds you that there is beauty out there and that if you can find it... you may find yourself; and you will never be alone." Unable to bite back a second yawn, Zahara mussed the little twilif's hair as she drifted past. "I will see you around Chiaki, sleep well." In search of the room sporting a golden starflower and exhausted from her travels, Zahara failed to notice the lantern rattling on the desk.

'Okay... This time i try to be nice...' she thought to herself. 'No! kill!' The evil spirite argued back. She tried her bast to shake it off and ended up shaking violently in the air still in her lanturn.

Chiaki watched Zahara leave, stiffening a bit as the impudent constellation mussed her hair. 'Really, that's completely uncalled for. Acting so familiar...'
The constellation's words floated through Chiaki's mind, though she tried to avoid it: 'there is beauty out there and that if you can find it... you may find yourself'.
Frustrated, she stared down at her shattered lantern. "Yeah, right," she muttered. She was about to go look for her room, trying to remember the flowers Asako had brought ('they were orange, right?') when a rattling on a nearby counter caught her attention.
"A lantern?"
She reached out, torn between her need for sleep and that dratted curiosity...

She was taken by surprise. "Gah!" She yelled from within her lanturn, causing it to glow really bright then dim almost instantly aftewards. "Let...Me...GO!" She continued to shake and rattle, trying to pry herself free.
