Shadowlit Facade eek A fellow Midwesterner? About time. Everyone here lives on the East Coast. Cliff and I are also from Illinois, which I believe to be considered part of the midwest.

I think Ohio is too far east to be midwest... still, I'm not east coast either.

Volvy I think Ohio is too far east to be midwest... still, I'm not east coast either. Ohio is a weird case. I think the west half could be part of the Midwest, and the east half is part of the Northeast.

@Gnarl: *high five*Uh, I've been to New England, and I live in eastern Ohio... there's enough difference I'm not sure this could be called the "northeast" either. :S

Uh, there's a lot of it? Even here in southern MN. Just a couple hours away from the capital you can cross the state line into corn hell, Iowa.

It is the nation's largest producer of corn and a leading producer of hogs as well. Fun, fun, fun. I think Des Moines is the only remotely interesting destination in the entire state.
