Aura woke, catching herself on the saddle before falling off. It had only been a few hours and was still dark. They were nearing a town called Blackstone, according to the small sign. "Blackstone...charming name.." She yawned and gripped the reins, gently pulling the horse to a stop. Aura dismounted, and walked into the town, making sure not to use her heels too much. There were a few villagers scattered around, stumbling out of the tavern or creeping around. She tied her mare to a post and sat down, leaning back against it.

Silvanus put a gloved hand to her lips, emitting a long and quite audible yawn. Her half-lidded eyes wandered back and forth between the few, plain items in what seemed to be the only goods store in the entire town of Blackstone. "Hm."She finally began, the shop keeper lifting his brows and leaning forward excitedly at the thought that she might buy something. "Well.. They are very nice.. ah.. what are they again?" Her brows furrowed toward the center of her face. The elderly, bushy clerk darted to an item hanging on the wall: "This--My dear lady--is a lantern." He opened the little window and flicked the wick with his index finger. "You use it to see at night! And-And this! Oohh, this is a very useful piece of equipment for travelers on dangerous trails. We call it a mace, but be careful." He took it off the wall and cradled it gingerly before handing it over to the elf. "I see.." She swung it about carelessly for a second before the heavy lead piece flew from her hand and crashed into the wooden floor, leaving a nice hole in the ground. "Ah.." Her darkly hued face flushed crimson, "..I prefer light weaponry.. sorry." And with that, Silvanus shuffled out of the store with some haste. Once outside, she pulled her tan cloak over her shoulders, her glowing blue eyes scanning the dusty little town--How she hated being away from her forest. But then someone caught her eye: A human? Perhaps, but it seemed that this one, accompanied by a horse, was not a local of this lonely old town.
(Ahhh! gonk sorry it's so long! I got carried away..)

Radiaas and his companions had already departed from the squat little village. The lighthouse was mere five hundred or so yards away. An eerie blue glow could be seen at the top. Dark figure shuffled restlessly at it's base. "Well, I suggest we prepare for battle before going any closer," Radiaas said.

Aura groaned and lifted an eyelid, peering out across the road. Her iris glowed ever so slightly in the darkness. Her stomach was aching in hunger, a terrible thing at this time of night for a werewolf. She listened, and picked out a few light scratch scratch sounds from a few yards away. Hens...five of them, scratching in the dirt for insects. She let out a soft purr-like growl at the thought of warm chicken meat. Aura sat up and balanced on the balls of her feet, sniffed the air, and slowly slinked off into the shadows on all fours.
The hen could only shreik slightly before it was dead, clutched in Aura's hand. She smiled wildly and began to pluck it's feathers.

Silvanus arched her brows slightly as she watched the beast rise and then begin to walk on both hands and feet. Her glowing eyes widened slightly, now realizing it wasn't a human at all. "..Werewolf?" she murmured softly to herself. The elf backed up against the building she had previously been, tilting her head to hear just in time, the chilling squawk of the chicken was the only thing audible in the town. After a moment of stillness, she realized none of the villagers had heard it--or at least responded yet. Wrapping her coat around her like a cocoon, Silvanus doubled over and transformed into the likeness of a small fox, leaving no traces of clothing behind as she began a slow and silent trot toward the chicken coop. Sniffing the air, she picked up the beast's scent and crept in the shadows cast by the moonlight. "Wolf," she hissed, her luminous eyes the only thing visible from her hiding spot. "Hunting chickens in a human town is not wise." She heeded, crouching low to the ground with a soft swish of her tail, just in case the werewolf was not friendly.

((Remember not to get to far ahead, me Seri and SunDaisey still have our quest)) As the three got closer to the lighthouse, the shambling figures became more visible, Drowned Wraiths. Sailors souls, drowned and dragged out of the sea by magic users, or by their own devices. It was obvious these wraithes were being held by some force in the lighthouse, barely visible chains linked their wraithcages and the light house.

(( Just killing time, Kariko, your quest should take a while, this is happening within a matter of a few hours))
Aura was beggining to bite into the chicken when a noise came from behind her. "Yipe!" She jumped, startled. A small fox... Aura growled at first, then stretched out and seemed to shake off her lupine form. She dropped the chicken. "Thank you for reminding me..." A hint of sarcasm covered her words while she dug at the dirt with her nails, burying the chicken. "So hard to resist." Flopping down on her back, she rolled around a bit, the animalistic state of mind always took a while to wear off completely, she sniffed at the new creature. "A talking Fox...that's normal..." Aura rolled onto her stomach and propped her chin up with a hand. "How is it a little thing like you can speak?"

James walked through the quite town he had come across. All he knew was that he was just a wander, or a nomad. He saw a market place and went over to the area, taking a slow pace. Look at all this food. Well, for humans anyway. Peaches, grapes, and everything that goes with in that catergoy. He thought.

Silvanus chuckled slightly as she watched the wolf shape shift and begin burying the gnarled chicken corpse. "Well," Feeling safer in the presence of her less formidable form, the little fox stepped up and looked hungrily at the fowl she was beginning to bury. "I didn't mean 'don't eat it...' just not here at the scene of the crime." She seemed to give Aura a canine-like grin. The wood elf sniffed back at her and laughed softly again when she commented on her being a talking animal. "I'm not really," She began, transforming into her elven form, "Actually, I'm just a simple elf." Crossing her legs in front of her, she gave a guilty smile and shrugged her shoulders. "Though I do feel bad for letting your kill go to waste. I'll buy you something to eat when the shops open back up." The elf offered, nodding her head into the direction of the closed tiny grocer's store. She paused for a moment and sized up the wolf, giving a sort of funny look to the other. "What is a wolf like you doing in a town like this anyway? We're not entirely close to the forest, either."
