The puppygrams all laughed merrily, as if this was the greatest joke in the world.
"Surely you know that humans are barely the middle of the bottom in the evolutionary ladder," a voice said. It wasn't the puppygrams- the voice was deep and rich and full of sultry depth.
Mako had stood up, but her eyes, although a deep amber-brown, were neither piercing not empty, but just... Seemingly not there somehow, as if someone had made two layers on Photoshop of the same thing and set the top layer to Opacity 50%.
Her hand lifted, the scarred tissue patched on the skin.
"I dislike having to interact through this type of medium," the voice said, having a trace of disgust in it, "But as you, Ambassador Alexa, are skeptical, I suppose this may be more effective." Mako's toes skimmed the ground as if she were a puppet whose strings were pulled too high.
"I sit near the top of the evolutionary ladder, much higher than this human here and just a bit further than the Brisingers. The young Brisinger here has kindly consented to allow me passage within her." Mako's lips drew up into a floppy smile.
"I have manipulated humans like this as well as other races, do not think you are immune. To you Homo Sapiens, I am the Zooluu- God or Fraud?"

Tommie stared at Mako, shocked. Was Mako consorting with gods? Not something she would ever have expected...

The Mako-Zoolu laughed, as if it had heard Tommie's shock... "Human child-thing," it said through Mako, "You know not for sure if I am truly a god. That's why- God or Fraud? I work to keep the answer ambigous, Human Child-thing," the Mako's voice said. "Maybe I'm just a free-loader parasite, sucking off things that others do. Maybe I make those things happen! Now, Mistress Ambassador, would you mind releasing us? I'd say I can just send this whole ship to the heart of the sun, or am I bluffing?"

Tommie's logical mind rebelled against Mako's words. "Don't do anything!" she snapped at Alexa. "It has to be a trick!"

The Zoolu laughed. "Why would I bother playing tricks with you lower beings?" But the Mako-Soolu sighed. "I see what you're saying. But anyways, how does this work for you, madamoseille?"
All of a sudden, Mako tilts her head back. She flickers into a blob of purple gas for a moment before turning seemingly solid and walks through the bars. A rough hand reachs out and gently takes Tommie's neck.
"If I said that I could make this human extension disappear, would you have reason to believe me?"

Alexa eyed the monster and the expirate with growing curiousity and suspision. With out taking her eyes off of the monster that now stood before her, she layed a hand on the box to her right, and the door flew open.
"I would have reason to suspect that you would be unkind enoungh to do something like that, but then it would get you know where, but back in that cell, hopefully with your head still attatched" she said smoothly, almost arogantly as she made a slight nod toward Reig.

Rieg, still remaining calm despite the situation, collected his thoughts. What did this supposed god want with the ship and its inhabitants? Did the being realize they were far from any planet's sun, and it would take a while to reach one? And which sun was he referring to? Depending on the type of star the sun was, the heat and size of it varied, and if he was referring to a certain sun, it may have taken even longer to reach it. Rieg decided to reach into the Force once again to sense this being's motives. He opened himself to the Force and let it wrap him around the being's mind, telling him through body temperature, brain movement, and through methods the Force could not even being to explain, to tell him whether the being was bluffing or not.

((Not sure if I'm allowed to do this, but......))
The Force picks up nothing but Mako and Vios' auras. Mako's is raging with barely subdued energy, bubbling below a hazy surface, and Vios' reminds one of a bundle of cotton candy with bubbles.

The Zoolu-Mako turned the Pirate's head towards Tommie. "Don't worry, I will not harm you... Unless if there is need to."
Vios barked happily from inside the containment chamber.
"Madam Ambassador, would you mind letting the young Brisinger out? If is a good idea to maintain good ties with... Us more sentient beings, human."

Rieg was disappointed that he was only able grasp the feelings of the pirate, but not the being that inhabited her, which was strange because the Force had never failed him before. No, not failed; the Force never fails. Did this being somehow know how to manipulate the Force? If so, Rieg decided, this was a more dangerous foe than he had expected.
((Ha, just realized something I missed before. xP Didn't realize you are being held, Dork. Rieg's apologies. xD ))
Rieg stepped forward, making it obvious he still grasped his weapon, thumb on the igniter switch. "I advise you follow the Ambassadors request. There is no need to be hostile. We have done nothing of the sort to you. We only want answers."

((Oops, I thought Vios was still in there!))
With a small laugh, the Zoolu-Mako gently let go of Tommie's neck.
"Yes, yes, Ambassador and friend," the thing said. Vios hopped happily over, her tongue lolling around.
"Uii! Uuiii!" she barked. "Aaarf!" Clearly, the little alien was delighted to be in the presence of so many people. Vios made a round around the room, occasionally stopping to sniff someone's shoes, but then pawed at Mako's leg.
"I ask you to tell Mako nothing of this... Some humans don't know what's good for them." Mako-Zoolu looked at her hands curiously. "Anyways, this body is not of... Exact match for me. Until we speak again!"
A blob of purple jelly slid through Mako's nostrils and back into Vios' eye sockets. The puppy-alien looked at the jelly fondly and puppy-smiled.
Mako leapt up and fumbled for her laser pistols, which of course weren't there.
She looked up and snarled.
"What now?"
