Myrr laughed quietly as she jogged backwards. "You're lucky you're only here for the discipline, Hali. Hell, if you WERE going to become one of us, we'd be double timing it from the cabin to where we're going." she said.
Keeping pace with Kaiser, they eventually reached the middle of the compound, where they tapped the flagpole gently. On the flag was the same emblem where Hali had seen it before.
Kaiser led the way to the breakfast hall where surprisingly, no one cared that she was Queen Hali. She was just another Trainee, to be perfectly honest.
Breakfast was hearty servings of toast, english muffins, coffee, tea, several kinds of juice, pancakes, bacon, sausage and most other breakfast foods.
Kaiser and Myrr both found themselves the soldiers' breakfast. Steak and Eggs, with salsa and hot sauce on the side.
A while later, one of the drill instructors walked by Kaiser. Looking down at the trio who were seated a ways away from everyone else, he examined Hali. "So the Mighty Queen of Aquious became a trainee on MY training grounds? I hope you know, sweetheart. I rule here." the weathered old man said with a smile.
Kaiser looked up from his meal then at Hali, swallowing his meal. "Hali, this is Drill Instructor Schwarzen. He trained me an' Myrr."

Hali nodded not really bothering to spare the loud mouthed old man a glance. She was too wrapped in thought about where she had seen that symbol before... She knew it was a secret, but she didn't know why it was a secret, and whom it was a secret for, more or less what it stood for...
Sighing she continued to eat her meal and slid sipped her tea while waiting for Kaiser and Myrr.

"Feh, Royalty. They never change." grumbled the instructor. as he walked off.
"This one wants to at least. Well, we'll see..." Myrr said as she returned to her breakfast.
Kaiser grunted in agreement as he started on his third steak.

Hali slipped her napkin from her tray and stole a pencil from someone passing by, then began drawing the symbol on the napkin. when she finished she stared at it.
'well, when i see it i get a knot in my stomach... but a butterfly like not, so it's not all bad, and kinda good... it's a secret... Did dad have an affair with someone here?' she stared at the wall with a confused wall and shook her head.
'Oriana... i kind of think it has something to do with her... but... i guess it could be mom too, they do look an awful lot alike...' she closed her eyes and tried to listen to the people around her, maybe if she picked up some random conversations she could figure it out.

The very same emblem was on half the people in the dining hall, seperating the recruits from the regulars. It was embroidered silver on a black bandana tied to their left arm.
None of the recruits had it, such as Hali, while Kaiser and Myrr both had one.
Myrr looked over and arched an eyebrow. "Eh, watchudrawing, why the Organizaton emblem?

"I know it from somewhere... Something to do with my mom or sister..." she stared at the symbol and sighed, "I usually have a good memory toward these sort of things..."
She slipped the napkin in her pocket and put her tray with the others, "I take it training is going to be outside... I'll meet you out there..." Hali shuffled toward the door and slipped the napkin from her pocket to examine it further.

"Yeah, let Kaiser finish breakfast. In the mean time, let's get you stretched." Myrr said as she followed Kaiser.
The next twenty minutes had Hali being completely stretched out.
Kaiser came out, stretching himself as he came out.
The next hour and a half had them doing two hundred push ups and sit ups, stopping when Hali had to rest.
Kaiser then led the trio on another two mile jog, passing by a class of forty recruits, all of them looked ashen faced and exhausted.
Reaching their destination, they reached a massive obstacle course.
Kaiser took out his pocketwatch. "Hey Myrr, don't you have the record for this course?" he asked her casually.
"Dunno. Lemme look." she said while jogging off to the first aid shack, where the record was kept. Jogging back out, she nodded.
"Yeah. Six minutes, fifty four seconds." she said. Kaiser nodded sagely.
"At the end of the six weeks, You're going to break Myrr's record."
The Obstacle Course was a half mile of jungle gym, dead ends, mud pits, rope swings, and other assorted interesting nasties that the Drill Instructors came up with.
"The idea is that you will run to the other side of the course, ring the bell that's on the end, and run back here. Yes, that's right. You have three minutes to cross a half mile territory of obstacle course, and get back here." Kaiser said.
"Myrr, want to help her through the first part of the course?" Kaiser said.
Myrr nodded.
"Whenever you're ready, Hali. After the jog back, we'll have lunch."

Hali was leaning against a rock, and sipping the water from her shell, "I.... Need a rest..... A long rest...." she panted, "The running wasn't so bad, but when i had to do so many odd push-ups... that was bad... that's what did me in."

Myrr looked at her silently before retreating to the first aid station again, and came back with a good size canteen.
"Here, drink this." Myrr said. "It's a lot more then your shell."
Kaiser, meanwhile, headed to an adjacent shed, and a bit of fooling around, had him come out in full plate armor. The kind he wore on his trek out to the Compound in the first place.
Myrr looked at him like he was nuts, and was handed the pocket watch he always carried.
"Time me." he asked her as he got to the entrance. Myrr shook her head, looked at the watch and then shouted "NOW!"
Kaiser sped off like a bullet, working his way through the obstacle course.
"Just so you know, Hali, our first couple of runs through the Obstacle Course are not going to be for speed but simply learning how to work up, under, through and around obstacles. It won't be that bad. Mmkay?"

Hali took the canteen to please Myrr, and drank in small amounts. she then started for the entrance of the obstacle course, "Alright Myrr, I'm going exploring..." she waved a hand over her shoulder and began her trek through the labyrinth.

Myrr waited for Kaiser to climb out, the man coming out sweating heavily and panting.
"Ten minutes, thirty three seconds, Kaiser." she said curtly as she tossed the pocket watch to him. Myrr slipped into the obstacle course, following Hali easily.
Kaiser was busy playing dead from exhaustion outside.
"So, other then the really strenuous exercise, how are you finding things here?" she asked her while tight rope walking above Hali.

"Well," Hali began, "I don't think you're going to help me much till the third or forth day... because right now, all i'm doing is ripping my tissues apart, and they're not going to have time to heal, so i'm going to keep injuring myself..."
"However," she smiled, "The sit-ups weren't so bad, and i can run... a lot, but my arm strength is s**t..." she blushed slightly at the swearing, but it was true.

"As long as we don't over do it, you'll be fine. You think Kaiser and I would put you through something that would hurt you?" Myrr responded.
"All in due time, my dear Queen. Once we start teaching you how to use a Katana, you'll get all the arm strength you'll need and then some. I promise."
Myrr jumped down lightly behind her. "Trust me, mmkay?" she said. "I used to be in the same boat as you until I was taught how to use a katana."

"Ka-Ta-Na?" the word swirled through her mind as she tried to imagine herself using it, "No, No... I use this!" she stretched out her hand and a bit of water came from her shell and formed into an ice trident.
It was the same length as her, three pronged, with a sapphire jewel in the center. swirling silver patterns trace around the entire shaft, and part of the prongs, and to complete it, there's a sharp tip at the end.
She cuddled the trident and smiled, "This is my lovely... I Have no clue what-so-ever as to how to use it... but I got it as a gift, and I love it!"

Myrr chuckled, and there was a distinct metal sliding sound as Myrr drew her katana, with the weapon shifting into a trident as well.
"It's called a trident. It's a decent spear weapon, in my opinion but its hard to master but that's just me." Myrr said while using the Trident-that-used-to-be-a-katana as a balancing stick as they crossed a perilous section over a mudpit.
"Then again, I'm partial to sword weapons so... my opinion is biased." she said as she helped Hali the last three steps.
