Aki just shook her head softly. The truly observant audience would notice that the small red gem on the chain belt was glowing crimson, and that as Aki closed her eyes it stopped glowing. Arin opened her eyes and looked about as if nothing had happened. She was surprised she'd been so gentle with Tora... Something must have changed about her. She shrugged and watched how the flashy sword boy was handling Rota's business.

Arin walked up to the girl, mustering up all of her self-control. She grabbed the girl by the breast of her clothes, holding her off the ground with one hand. "You took away the most important person in my life. I assume I've done that to you as well. I only demand one more sacrifice and I will allow you to live." Arin wouldn't allow this fool to even be her slave. She ripped Rayda's tail neatly from her body and cast her aside, adding yet another tail to her collection, which upon Kochartei's death would amount to thirteen.

There was a bizarre itching in the back of Arin's mind... Something that seemed to demand attention. But Arin couldn't quite place her finger on it. She turned her eyes to the trees near them as if searching for something, but, appearing satisfied, she looked away, to watch Selena wrap up her business and the entire Tatoma family affair.

She spoke to Zyke: "You did well. But are you prepared to serve me? We may do things that you don't agree with, and if you disagree with something that needs to be done, I will be forced to kill you. You understand that, right?" Arin was legitimately warning him... "Conversely, the day may come when you may die in service to our Cause. It may even be just another day in training. We don't hold back, as you've seen. It promotes weakness." She turned her eyes to Selena again. "And it's your job to do to her what Rota did to you." The initiation was still in effect... It had to be done, and Zyke was the only one to do it. The initiation judged your resolve to serve until death, your resolve to die to serve, or your worth as a fighter in defeating one of the initiates... Of course, no one had lost yet, so it's uncertain what the penalty would be.

Zyke looks her in the eyes, showing that his opinion of her stopped at respect, not fear. He crosses his arms and his mind goes to Rayda laying on the ground to the side, tailless. He was glad that at least she was willing to allow herself mercy to others.
He spoke to her in a calm, unshaken voice, "I'll work for you for as long as I feel I need to. I'll give you the respect you deserve as my superior, but it'll take a lot from you for you to become my 'Queen" as Rota says. And I'm not afraid of dieing, I've lived long enough to accept my place in life and to accept the ceaseless approach of death, naturally or otherwise. I don't care what your ambitions are, If I disagree with your decisions I'll simply leave, and never bother you or your minions again." With that, Zyke turns around and starts walking back to the pods, he wanted more training, always wanted more training, and their ship was the best place he knew for it. He looks back once "Shall we go?"

"Sometimes you need to leave them alive to spread the story... But... it seems like we may already have someone prepared to do just that..." Arin reached and with blinding speed took Zyke by the throat. "And let's be clear on one thing: I am your Queen." Arin raised her hand without looking away from Zyke, her palm toward Rayda and the trees beyond her. A purple flame raged down her arm until it gathered in her fist. She pulled it back and aimed a punch at the saiyan, opening her hand at the last moment and allowing the blast to be set free. At that moment, Zyke may or may not notice the flash of black-green from the trees, but would definitely notice the huge blast of purple flames that enveloped the site of the saiyan's landing. Arin nonchalantly tossed Zyke aside, turning to face the supposedly-charred remains of Rayda.

Technique Name: Ki blast
Description of Jutsu: This technique seems to be fairly common, (and fairly obsolete) throughout the universe. It focuses generic chakra and fires a blast (can be a cone, ball, beam, whatever,) of non-sustained chakra to do a little damage to whatever it happens to hit.

Reflex DC: 5 + Character level + ki mod for half damage. Neutral 20 or surpassing the save by 10 means no damage.

Syn's body was burning. Her clothes were tattered, her skin seared. But she had protected the defenseless victim of these creatures, and that was what mattered. She could always heal later. Syn took a deep breath and went over what had happened to bring her to leave her cover and come out into the middle of a field, with nothing to hide behind. She played me... Syn now realized that Arin must have known where she was the whole time, gradually maneuvering to a position closer to the trees... The emotions she had felt during her fight with Tatoma a ruse. Adrenaline would still have been overwhelming the saiyan at that point. They were to keep Syn guessing... To keep her unable to pinpoint exactly what the saiyan would do. To eliminate patterns. She had never intended to spare anyone's life, but she knew following Syn into the forest would be a gamble. There were enough people who had seen the destruction at Tatoma's house. The act of generosity that was sparing that girls life... It was just a trick to get the body closer to the trees... And the true maneuver had been taking that hope away from the girl. Arin must have known that there was a chance Syn would come forth to protect an innocent or a helpless victim... Or she had been aiming for me... Syn dashed from the smoke to get at least a few cuts in before Arin could destroy her. out in the open like this, there was no way to stand up and win against a fiend like Arin...

Arin started walking toward the body as the smoke cleared. Arin's first priority would be to grab a hold of that little nuisance... and proceed to tear her arms off. Arin had been wanting to destroy this interloper in the back of her mind since she had first noticed its presence. And here was her chance. The chance she had been manipulating this entire fight toward. Of course her emotions hadn't been getting the better of her. With an opponent like Tatoma, even Arin had enough strategic knowledge not to let herself get distracted. The pain was great... But survival was always first on the agenda. The dead couldn't live... As much as we wanted them to, so even the small part of Aki in Arin was telling her to save the mourning for later. And it was that small part of Aki remaining inside her that had kept her this sane this long...

Syn felt Arin grab her arm as she passed by. And her other arm. This is it... She accepted her fate and screamed as Arin's iron grip on the namekkian's biceps ripped her skin and tore the limbs wholly from her torso.

Syn's body was still suspended by Arin's grip, now on her chest, grabbing her gi. Arin just eyed the namekkian like some piece of discarded trash and tossed her aside to lay beside Rayda. Raising her hand again, Arin repeated her performance from earlier. She blasted both bodies, killing Rayda once and for all. But somehow, the namekkian's body was still there. No way it's still alive. Arin turned from the pile of bodies and faced what could be their last obstacle in this mass murder. Coming from the trees was a force... They flew toward the group, and they set down in front of the Tenkuu no Houou... A platoon of police... twenty of them, all saiyans... With a single woman leading the pack. She wore no police uniform. She wore a garb akin to those that a mystic would wear. And by the body language of those near her, Arin could tell that the woman was highly feared.

"Stop. You have violated the laws of the Saiyan District. You have killed at least ten saiyans, for which the punishment is death. Who among you is guilty of these crimes?"

It seems that word didn't travel quite fast enough. They didn't know who they were sent here to kill, only that they were sent here to kill. Arin remained stonily silent, stepping up to the girl, who was amazingly the same height as Arin. The police behind her wore no scouters. Arin assumed that it was because of the massive powerlevel of the girl. And it was massive. It at least rivalled Arin's, if not surpassing it. But underneath it all, Arin sensed that there was something more. Arin wasn't scared. Arin just stared straight into the eyes of the intruder.

"What are you doing? Answer her! Do you know who this is? This is Amy! The Super Saiyan!

Arin was unphased by their fancy words. If anyone here was more than a saiyan, it was Arin. The stand-off was intense, with the police behind Amy backing up a little farther. It seems that they were finally beginning to wonder at what could possibly possess someone to stand two inches from the face of the Super Saiyan... Someone who wasn't afraid of the Super Saiyan... Someone who could defeat Tatoma... Someone who destroyed Tatoma's entire family and security force... Without even a single scratch... What kind of monster could I possibly be to do so much and take so little damage? She grinned.

Selena and Kochartei stopped fighting once the police showed up. rather than gawking though, Selena rushed over to Rota and lightly slapped his face to wake him up. "Honey, wake up. you really need to wake up now."

Rota slowly regained conciousness, and stood up. he was exeedingly lethargic untill he saw the hoard of police officers. "s**t. we've been had." his heart skipped a beat when he saw the bushes of the forest rutle, and a flash of white and black between the leaves. "Lite?"

Lite had watched the entire fight after being reincarnated into this new body. it took some time to get used to, but he was as used to it as he could be for now. he was still getting used to the whole 'apposeable thumbs' thing though. he checked the bag at his waist, and made sure the senzu beans and Fruits of the Tree of Might were still there. he made sure that his Claw gauntlets were still affixed to his belt, and ran off to his father's location, determined to help his father and his friends. "Dad!" he exclaimed with great happiness. his tail flitted happily about as he glomped his father, hugging him tightly to make sure he wasn't dreaming. He then remembered his purpose, and gave one Senzu bean to Rota, and one to the lady beside him. "eat those. They will fully revitalize you." He looked around for the sword user, because he thought that he needed the Fruit of the Tree of Might more than his dad or the lady did."hey! swordy guy! Catch!" he tossed theFruit of the Tree of Mightto the redhaired wonder. he then looked at the saiyan woman "who are you anyway?"

Selena crunched down the Bean,and was surprised at the results. She felt like she just got a full night's sleep. she then looked down, confused, at the young saiyan boy.Rota didn't HAVE a son...did he? "My name's Selena Whyte.Who are you?"

Lite's innocent eyes widened and lit up like christmas lights when he heard the lady's name.he smiled his jagged, toothy smile. "so You're my Mom!" he then immediately hugged her. "you're just as pretty as Dad said you were!" he embraced every moment of this. he loved how he was not only able to talk to his parents and hold them now, but how he also had them both together in the same place.

Selena looked at Rota as he crunched down his Senzu bean to occupy his mouth. "You have a lot of explaining to do, Rota."

Rota looks down and to the right whilst scratching his head. "yeah...I know."

Lite let go of Selena, and put on his gauntlets. He then smiled "so, who's that group of people over there?"

An aura will develop around the user if they surpass their resting ki rate. Auras can displace solid matter, so it's a good idea to think through it before powering up to full strength in the middle of a flimsy building. (just a suggestion.) Ki causes damage to inanimate objects (that the user is not protecting or keeping out of this effect) at a rate of 1 hp damage per 2 kp over resting rate. Just how it happens depends on personal preference. This damage has a radius of [ki mod] feet around the user. It does not harm people.

Technique Name: Ki blade
Description of Jutsu: Using your ki added to a weapon, you can extend the weapon or you can create a cutting edge (depending on your specialty)

This can also be applied to your normal martial damage, but never to a thrown object.

This is one of the most basic forms of attacking with ki, as it only requires a loosely-formed ball/beam/arrow/projectile (depending on your specialty/preference) of energy and the ability to move your arm (or not, as it were)

Type: Ki Scanner
Description: This is the most basic scouter on the market, excluding antiques. It allows a person to read apparent power levels to the mark. Unfortunately, it will explode if a power level is over 25,000.
In-Game Stats: Allows a person to read apparent power levels, in the original Saiyan language, unless specially made for a different language, or modified with a repair DC of 100.
Damage: 15 damage to the person wearing the scouter if they try to read a power level of more than 25,000, from the explosion.
Requirements: None, except it must be purchased from a Saiyan store.
Special: A Saiyan with appropriate background may begin at creation with a scouter without spending a technique on it, although they are not allowed to have the skills sense ki or conceal ki at creation.

Description of Jutsu: This technique is a charged ball of your ki, it allows you to put ki into it so long as the user can control it, and it deals considerable damage to whatever it hits.

Damage: 40 + ki mod + 1 per ten in ki control +1 per two additional kp
Requirements: 20 ki, 30 ki control, 20 ki techniques, ki blast

Special: user can put as many kp as he has available into the attack, and begins gaining bonus damage and attack roll for the kp he puts in over the requisite 80.

Attack roll: 1d20 + 1 per ten in ki control + ki mod + 1 per 5 additional ki put in.

Ki balls deal splash damage. This means that for a range of [ki stat = 1 per five extra kp inserted or less] feet, your damage is inflicted on everything in range.

The standard Saiyan Armor has an HP of 200.
Can stretch to accommodate almost any size. From toddler to Oozaru, this armor suffers no penalties for expanding as such.

Special: Can only be procured at a Saiyan's shop. No other race will have a suit of this armor for sale, because no Saiyan would give it up, unless their pride had forced them to remove it and they got killed, or similar, but that's not important. The point stands: Only at Saiyan stores.

Zyke catches the fruit, looking at it weirdly, ignoring the fact that a weird kid just ran up and threw it to him. He eats the entire fruit, core included, taking care to store the seeds under his tongue. His body felt like it was on fire, spreading from his stomach out, an unbelievable amount of power flowing into his very being from the fruit. He could feel his muscles rebuilding themselves, his ki growing like it had a will of it's own. This power was amazing, and he found himself loving every moment of it. The force that stood before him no longer seemed daunting, just another bunch of hot blooded saiyans following after their master drooling like the stupid lapdogs they were. He was going to enjoy killing them.

Arin began powering up, still inches from Amy. And Amy did likewise. Their power levels were rising equally, and Amy's deep blue aura was clashing with Arin's royal purple, both of them burning hot, both of them scorching the air and vegetation near them. Both the Queen and the Monk reached their maximum power levels at roughly the same time, and Arin brought her head back, pounding it toward Amy's forehead. "I AM THE SUPER SAIYAN!"

Amy pumped herself up massively, using All-or-nothing, the technique that the monks had developed to release the body's controls, and she focused on the glorious freedom soon to be given her as Arin's skull met hers, and it happened. Amy's aura exploded, her muscles growing and defining themselves, her eyes turned green and her black, shoulder-length hair turned yellow, spiking up. She smiled, looking directly into Arin's eyes; "No. I believe that's still me." The Super Saiyan's fist drove itself into Arin's abdomen, completely brushing aside the Queen's defenses, her knuckles meeting the jewel that the semi-fused woman wore around her waist.

Physical Description: Arin's figure is great, her breasts are on the smaller side, while her hips are strong. Her arms and legs have a sharp but graceful, muscular build. Her skin is surprisingly pale for someone with no home.

From her ears hang silver earrings with red jewels, a necklace of a matching sort is around her neck, and a chain belt with a shining crimson pendant nestled in a silver holding slopes off one hip.
Background: Arin was born on planet Vegeta. She was exiled on Nexum after she was found to be a middle-class warrior. For some reason, her upper-class parent's pride just couldn't take that disrespect. So she was abandoned. She grew up believing that she was simply abandoned by a family on Nexum, although she didn't much care. Her pride wouldn't let her go crawling back to parents who didn't want her. So she grew up in the wilderness between Humantown and Saiyantown.

She killed a saiya-jin boy named Tatopa on Nexum and stole his pod. She went to Earth in search of an underling to join her in her quest to rule the Universe. While there, she discovered a girl named Aki. Together they defeated Akachi, who was a well-known (but air-headed) fighter. The prize money bought them a larger ship, and their friendship slowly blossomed into something more. While on their ship, traveling to Nexum for no conscious reason, Arin realized something: Aki was human, and she would die very soon by Saiyan standards. Her trip to Nexum took on a different light. Arin was going to find a way to let her and Aki live their lives together.

On the way to Nexum, they intercepted and adopted a saiyan prisoner, training and shaping him into their image after killing the two guards who were transporting him. The women and the boy, Rota, trained hard to be ready to arrive on Nexum, and they soon found a stowaway on the ship that had great potential. Arin had no time to train this boy, however, because they discovered that Aki was missing from the ship.

Arin rent the air with her charge to the surface of Nexum, where she followed the clues and her heart to the home of Tatoma, whom she had unwittingly been whittling the family tree of into a toothpick. She and her team ripped his guards to shreds, but Aki wasn't there. Only her bo staff and a note that relocated the battle to a plateau outside the Saiyan district...
Personality: Arin is generally withdrawn and focused with single-minded intensity on her pursuit of power. But since meeting Aki, she had begun to seek a way to protect Aki from the frailties of being human. She had become more kind, and was beginning to look at people as more than meat. (if only barely) Although now, since her Fusion, it is unknown what violent turns her personality might take.
Other: Arin had three goals: To find and destroy her parents, to dominate the universe, and to protect Aki in any (and every) way possible. It is unknown what her new form will decide is important, although it seems to have inherited her fondness of collecting tails from every saiyan she kills.

Description of Jutsu: allows the user to form a ball of their ki that can be thrown/shot at their opponent. This is one of the most basic forms of attacking with ki, as it only requires a loosely-formed ball/beam/arrow/projectile (depending on your specialty/preference) of energy and the ability to move your arm (or not, as it were)

Name: Standard Scouter
Type: Ki Scanner
Description: This is the most basic scouter on the market, excluding antiques. It allows a person to read apparent power levels to the mark. Unfortunately, it will explode if a power level is over 25,000.
In-Game Stats: Allows a person to read apparent power levels, in the original Saiyan language, unless specially made for a different language, or modified with a repair DC of 100.
Damage: 15 damage to the person wearing the scouter if they try to read a power level of more than 25,000, from the explosion.
Requirements: None, except it must be purchased from a Saiyan store.
Special: A Saiyan with appropriate background may begin at creation with a scouter without spending a technique on it, although they are not allowed to have the skills sense ki or conceal ki at creation.

Physical description: A 5 foot spherical white pod, with a red window.
The inside of the pod is comfortable and padded.
Vehicle speed: maximum of 3 light years per hour.
Fuel efficiency: Can travel for three years without stopping, but it must enter a hospitable atmosphere for at least ten minutes at least every six months to replenish its environmental system.
Environmental system (if any): Can last for six months at a time, but must be replenished every six months by entering a hospitable atmosphere for ten minutes.
Life support/medical support (if any):
The pod contains a device that places the rider in suspended animation so that they can preserve their strength for their trips and reduce the amount of food they require.

A functional life support system is available to stabilize the user should they be injured, but there is no healing available: One must travel to a planet that will take care of them. This life support system will fly the ship for the user, replenishing the environmental system as the owner sleeps, so long as it is given a destination.
Control system: The Saiyan space pod is controlled by voice commands in their native tongue (or the standard for its design,)

by a keypad that is translated to be read in the vernacular (sometimes simplified to pictures for illiterate fliers,)

and by a remote control with generally only four buttons:

Come: tells the pod to fly to the user
Depart: Tells the pod to fly somewhere safe.
Orbit: Tells the pod to orbit the planet until further notice, and to preserve its life as best it can
Self-destruct: The pod will explode, causing 100-500 damage to any within a ten foot radius, and 200-700 to any that are inside the pod.

HP: 5 feet times 100 HP = 500 HP
Special: When traveling in a saiyan space pod, the user need only eat once every six months, and suffers no ill effects from neglecting their physical training.

In fact, they can train in mental methods for the duration of the trip, and the computer generally has education material on its hard drive, and can access more by connecting to the intergalactic 'internet,' but add one DC to each roll for the amount of time you go between eating:

For instance, eating once every six months (the max) will add 6 to the DC, while eating once every three months will add only three.
Weapons/Defenses: None whatsoever. This pod is completely weaponless, and designed for lightweight speed and stamina as opposed to being a combat flier.

Physical description: A gargantuan pod. A black spherical ship fifty feet in diameter, with hundreds of red windows. It has an on-board garden, an excellent environmental system, a gravity training room that takes up an entire floor of the ship, six furnished bedrooms, a six ship docking bay, a kitchen, and voice control.

This is the finest brand of ship available on Earth, and while it may not be the best in the Universe based on technology, it certainly has all their love for furnishings and comfort.
Vehicle speed: .5 light years per mile
Fuel efficiency: can travel without stopping for a year, at which point it needs to touch down on a planet, shut down, and spend 24 hours in the sunlight. An extremely efficient fueling system keeps the ship operational until that time based completely on solar energy, and what it siphons out of the air.
Environmental system (if any): The on-board environmental system consists of oxygen converters and a large garden that clean the air of wastes and recirculate them through the ship.
Life support/medical support (if any): A medical floor, with six rejuvenation tanks and enough supplies to treat just about anything, accompanied by a surgical robot programmed with the latest technology updated weekly by the ship.. This chamber can put any injury back together, and the rejuvenation tanks heal at the rate of 15 hp and 15 kp per post. (hour)
Control system: voice-controlled with a manual override if desired.
HP: 50 feet times 100 HP = 5000 HP
Special: The ship can turn large sections (The entire third floor [the living quarters] for example) of its hull transparent from the inside so as to view the scenery.
Weapons/Defenses: None. Apparently the humans decided they just didn't need to give the ship any weapons. Those idiots.

Bo: A Bo is basically a staff. The Bo is normally around 2m long or at the very least 6 inches longer than the person height for purposes of attacking and maneuverability.
Damage: 1 - 6 + Str. Mod. +1 per ten points in weapons (bo)
Range: Melee + 5 ft. forward.
Special: Can be used as a defensive weapon, spinning the Bo in front of you gives you + 4 in dodge bonus.
