Aldrin Didn't dodge, but blocked it with the barrel of the shotgun that he pulled from his bag.

Toby eyed the shotgun with a raised eyebrow, but only shrugged. "You see?" he explained, turning to Jake. "It pisses people off. Whether its them or their Pokemon."

"I'm pretty new at the whole thing, too," Toby went on, ignoring Aldrin's angry glare. "All I've got is Noctowl and Lombre, but they're both awesome Pokemon. My best pals; I wouldn't go anywhere without them. In fact--" and at this Toby paused, to unleash both Noctowl and Lombre.
"Hey guys. Thought you might enjoy some stretching. Don't break anything!"
Noctowl flew--quite gracefully, for the crowded interior space--to an empty area on a shelf and watched the room from the high vantage point. Lombre walked slowly around, examining things, before returning eventually to Toby to be played with. Toby soon became engrossed in fake boxing game with Lombre.

"Well then... Go Mark One, Myst, Shion, Fira, and Ronin!" he said, opening every ball but one (Kite's) First came the beedrill, followed by the charmeleon and the Abra. the last two were the real eye-catchers: The Kabutops and, of course, the Registeel.
"I may have to break the door down if he's stuck up there..."

Fearow landed in the soft snow that was always on the ground in Hibernica. Dean slid off of Fearow's back and into the snow. He zipped up his jacket and stuck his hands into his pockets. He looked around, deciding on what to do next. Bagon was still clinging to his back and Fearow tucked its beak into its folded wings.
Preston noticed a sign coming up. "What's that say?" he said aloud to Houndoom. "Gallatium? Hm, I wonder if we can get directions there..."
James was just pacing back and forth in a small park in Lithosica, trying to decide if he wanted to enter a competition. He also knew that he shouldn't be wasting time, that needs go for his first badge. All four of his pokemon were sitting on the ground, even Zangoose, tired and bored of his pacing. He turned to them and said, "So, what do you guys think?" Mightyena and Zangoose both jumped up and pointed to the stadium. Ivysaur and Growlithe both looked at the road leading away from the city. They didn't like how crowded the city was.
((Hey, Spi, on Dean's profile, could you change Shelgon to Bagon please? I didn't realize I had given him a Shelgon sweatdrop . Thanks ^_^))

((Well, if the tournament were to hurry up, I think things might pick back up. Maybe, it's possible to have more than one battle at once? Making people wait has, in my experience, not been very conducive to good and fun role playing.))
