Katsuko woke up groggily. her chest still hurt slightly but it was better. she sat up and walked out into the long hallway. *I wonder what time of day it is.* she walked up the stairs cautiously and finally made it to the door. she pushed it open and looked up at the starlit sky.

Garret got out of bed and grabbed his equipment. He grabbed an apple and ate it on the way up the stairs.

Kastsuko closed the door behind her. she found a clearing a few yards away and laid on the soft grass and gazed up at the speckled sky.

Garret opened the door and walked out towards the city he saw Katsuko in the distance, and threw away the core of his apple.

Katsuko heard something behind her and when she looked she saw Garrett. "hello." she said, turning back to the stars.

Garret just walked past her and continued onto the city, without saying a word, or even looking at her.

Katsuko watched him leave and sighed. her head flopped onto her arms and she found her star.

Garret approached the city plaza and saw a bunch of guards patrolling the streets. *Must be because of that one murder...* he thought as he quickly turned around before the guards noticed him.

Katsuko could hear a nearby river. she was sweating in the summer heat, even though it was night. *I can't resist the call of the river.* she thought, getting up and rushing over to the river bank.

Garret was now speed walking back to his den. He saw Katsuko sitting on the river bed, he walked up and poked her on the shoulder. "Inside, now."

Katsuko whirled around. "Ahhh!! you scared me." she sighed. *Good thing ;i didn't take anything off yet.* "What's wrong?" she asked.

Garret saw fireworks in the air and he breathed a sigh of relief. "False alarm." he said as he ran back to the city. *Just a celebration...* he though as he ran.

Katsuko's shoulders slumped. *ugh.... that guy...* she made sure that he was out of sight before she pulled off her shirt and pants. she laid them neatly on the riverbank and dove into the river. the water was nice and cool and she enjoyed swimming in the clear waters.

Garret saw the guards backs turned to watch the fire works. *Perfect* he thought as he crept past them. He turned into the city streets and a whole group of guards saw him. *Not good...* he thought. He ran away and He ran towards his den with a bunch of guards chasing him. He fired a few gas arrows into the crowd but only knocked out a handful. He saw Katsuko in the distance. "IF YOU DON"T WANT TO GO BACK TO THE CASTLE I SUGGEST YOU RUN AS FAST AS YOU ******** CAN TO MY PLACE!!!" he screamed at her as he kept running.

Katsuko ducked under the water but then heard his words. she crept out of the river and slipped her clothes back on discreetly and started running to the tree where Garrett's home was hidden.
