Prince nodded slowly, then he smiles up at Haradhel and he smiles, setting the plates and bowls out in front of each station at the table. "You're very welcome, Haradhel!" He beamed at the older elf.
He smiles softly and he brushed a light kiss across her lips, before he approaches the table and pulls back a chair for Serenity to sit at. "Mmmn. This smells wonderful, Haradhel. I can't wait to try it."

Serenity kissed Gaunt back lightly, smiling brightly as she sat in the chair that Gaunt pulled out for her. "Thank you," she said warmly, tucking her feet beneath her chair and waiting for Gaunt to join her.
Haradhel smiled and nodded at Gaunt. "I hope you enjoy it. Go ahead and eat, Elrohir, Ahren and Arahad are out doing their chores, they won't be back for a while. I'm just going to get a little bit more and then I'll be back. What would you like to drink?"

Gaunt smiles as he sits down next to Serenity, Prince taking up his position across from the couple. Gaunt thinks for a moment. They had ale, wine, and tea, as he recalled from the previous conversation with Serenity.. so.. "I think I'll have some tea, please." He smiles softly as he stands up a bit, getting a bowl of breakfast and setting the first one in front of Serenity, the second one in front of Prince, and saving the last bowl for himself.

Haradhel nodded and turned towards the kitchen. She would get some cider for Prince ... and she knew Serenity would be having her morning tea as well.
"Thank you," Serenity beamed at Gaunt as he served her. She felt very special indeed ... he really was a gentleman, everything she could ever have hoped for, could ever have wanted.
She waited for him to begin eating before she took her own first bite - wait until the server is served, she had been taught, and she understood why. Not that she minded it.

Gaunt nods and he smiles softly, offering his thanks to Haradhel as she turned to get some more and come back with drinks. He then smiles softly as he takes a spoonful of the thick liquid and takes his first bite, relaxing at the table now that people are mostly set up. "Mmm. So besides getting Ian his bow and Prince his gift, what else is on our plate today?" He smiles over to Serenity.

Serenity looked thoughtful as she took a few bites of her breakfast. "Umm ... well, I hadn't planned anything," she admitted, "though ... we could of course do a bit more riding, if you like ... Ian probably wants to try out his bow - and of course he'll need a few lessons ..."
Of course, there were always more family members to meet, if Gaunt so desired ...
"But we also have to keep in mind," she reminded him, "when we go back it will just be later in the evening, and you still have to meet Mama and Papa. So we shouldn't stay too long ... probably not past noon."

He nods slowly as he heard the plan - or lack thereof - and he smiles softly. "Yeah, maybe.. though I guess we should get Ian moving as soon as he gets up and has breakfast then. Because as far as we know, he could sleep until noon, right? Or will you just carry him to Ulrich's if he keeps sleeping until too late into the morning?" He smiles softly, still casually eating the porridge-like substance.

"I can carry him," Serenity assured Gaunt with a giggle. "I never know how long he'll sleep ... though with the promise of a bow, I imagine it won't be too late. When we leave so early to meet with you in the park, he's sometimes awake before I am. It's more ... what reason he has for getting up, rather than how much sleep he needs."
Though she was accustomed to carrying him to school and such.

He nods slowly, leaning back in his chair with the porriage half-eaten. He was thirsty and missing the drinks so far, and he was also curious as to what this 'more' was. He smiles softly over to Serenity. "Mmmn. Alright then." He chuckles softly. "Then maybe one of us should stick close to Ian so he doesn't get scared when he wakes up and not one of us is around?" He tilts his head a little. He could only imagine the panic the poor guy will feel if he wandered the house and coudln't find anyone.

Serenity smiled at Gaunt. "We'll stay here until he wakes up," she assured him. "Though if he's not awake by the time we're finished eating, we should probably go upstairs and get him. He's not the panicking type, but ..."
Just then Haradhel returned to the dining room, carrying a tray with three mugs on it (two of tea and one of cider), three plates, half a loaf of bread, a small platter of butter, and a plate with some cuts of cold meat.
"I can make some eggs to go with, if you'd like," she smiled warmly, setting everything down on the table and passing it out. "Boiled, fried ... however you would like them."

He smiles when Haradhel comes back and once everything was set down, he parcels out the bread and butter, giving a nice thick slice to everyone with a good coating of butter - not really slathered, but not sparse either. And the meats stay in the middle of the table, so everyone can pick out which one they like the best. "Mmmn. Thank you very much Haradhel. I feel a little guilty asking for them, though." He blushes a little. "But back home.. I make eggs sunny-side up. I like the yolks to be runny, because liquid yolk tastes good with some bread and butter." He then nods and he smiles softly at Serenity. "Then we'll take our time eating, to make sure Ian has enough time to get himself up, then?"

Haradhel laughed softly at Gaunt. "Don't you dare feel guilty," she winked at him. "I asked what you wanted. Serenity?"
Serenity smiled warmly at Gaunt, not looking away from him as she answered her aunt. "No eggs for me, thank you," she replied. And then, speaking once more to Gaunt, she murmured, "I think that sounds fair. Not that it would be any trouble."
She would do anything to stretch out their time together ... though she knew that in a matter of months - as soon as he graduated ... they would have all the time in the world.
Haradhel turned her attention to Prince then, and she smiled warmly at him. "And you, Prince?" she asked him. "Would you like any eggs?"

Gaunt nods and he smiles softly, tilting his head a little bit. "Thank you very much, Haradhel. I appricate all the hosptiality and kindness you've been showing myself and Prince while we've been staying here." He smiles warmly at her. Then he glances toward Serenity and he smiles softly. "Mmmn. Good. Then I look forward to spending some time just relaxing with you, my dear."
Prince thought a little, then he nodded slowly. "Ah.. may I.. please have some scrambled eggs? With cheese? Oh.. if you have any.. you don't have to.. if you don't have much, or don't have any.."

Haradhel smiled at Prince, almost amused by how hard he was trying to be polite. She chuckled softly and reached out to ruffle his hair gently.
"Scrambled eggs with cheese," she grinned at him. "Got it."
She nodded to Gaunt, her eyes sparkling brightly. "You're very welcome," she said warmly.
And then she was gone yet again.
Serenity smiled back at Gaunt, and, since neither of them were eating at the moment, she reached across the space between them and took his hand in her own, squeezing it tightly. She was looking forward to it as well.

He nods at Haradhel and he smiles at her, before he turns his attention back toward Serenity. Nobody was really saying anything for the moment, so it took him a while to try to come up with a conversation. "So. When we go to visit your family, are there some things you'd think I should be warned about?" He grins lightly at her.
