Kros stabbed and killed two spiders while they were distracted. The other four jumped her. She stabbed another, thinking it would die, but its strength deteriorated by about 10%. The bigger spider, which she had stabbed, bit her in the shoulder.
Kros finally realized that she actually needed training.
And she was arachniphobic for 7 years.
She screamed and stabbed the bigger spider again, in the heart. It died instantly.
The two remaining spiders backed up as Kros ran for dear life.
"This is fun!" one of them laughed.
Tears of fear streamed down her face as Kros cried, "HELP! HELP ME! I DON'T WANT TO LOOK STUPID BUT I REALLY NEED HELP!!!"
She tried to throw rocks at the spiders with her powers, but they knew her moves and dodged every one of them.
"I'm gonna die!" Kros sobbed, "I'm gonna die!!!"

Calli heard the girl scream and handed the daggers to Archie. "I'll check it out." Calli grabbed her halberd and ran outside the temple over to the girl and saw the spiders attacking her. She cut through the spiders quickly. Wow I felt like a superhero doing that. biggrin She went over to the girl, "Are you alright?"

Kros stared at the lady who saved her. She wiped her tears away.
"Th-thank you," Kros managed.
"What are you doing here?" the lady asked.
Kros shrugged, "Waiting for something worthwhile to happen in my dull dull life."
"What's your name?"
"Kros. You?"
"Calli. Want to meet some friends of mine?"
"Are they cool?"
"We just met Athena, Goddess of Wisdom. Is that - "
"ATHENA! I'm sooooo in!!!"
Kros excitedly followed Calli to meet her so-called "friends".

"C'mon, I'll introduce you to my friends," Calli knew that a girl in ancient looking armor must fit in with the group somehow, ands she was glad to meet Kros, "So why are you wearing armor?" She almost was expecting Kros to be an amazon or descended from Atalanta, heck after today, it wouldn't surprise Calli if Kros actually WAS Atalanta.

Kros sighed, "Are you prepared to hear my life story?"
Calli smiled, "Well that's kind of what we're looking for."
"It all started when I was conceived - "
Calli's smile grew, "May I please be so kind as to ask - "
Kros interrupted Calli, "It was a couple of weeks ago. My dad was telling me to be prepared for a math test that I know I'd get a perfect score on and blah blah blah. And he gave me a new pet snake for being a 'perfect child'. I was pissed off at the fact that my parents thought I was perfect, because I'm totally NOT perfect. Sooo, I stole my dad's family heirloom armor and whatnot right under his nose and ran away. Then I found out that my family is LOOKING FOR ME!"
"And why is that bad?" Calli asked with concern.
"Because life is so...easy for me when I live it normally. The only freedom I had from the rich family was Greek mythology. I knew the strength of Hercules, the wrath of Ares, the wisdom of Athena...all that was so astounding. Then I saw Helios' Chariot!"
Kros seemed to glow when she remembered that day, "At that moment, I knew the gods were tangible! I wanted to see them for myself, that is, when they want me to see them. And here I am."

Pandora glanced over at Archie as he came trotting over to her with 2 Daggers in his mouth. "AWW thanks Archie! You're so sweet! I wish I had a cat." She then shrugged and took the Daggers and cleaned them and replaced them in their sheaths. She then scooped Archie up while she went to look for more Daggers petting him almost absentmindedly. Archie began to purr. " Now I only have to find the other 30 and we're good to go."

Kros found ten daggers on the ground that definitely weren't her poison daggers. She picked them up.
"Do these belong to you, Calli?" Kros asked.
"No, they look like Pandora's."
"Is she, like, the Pandora?"
"Actually, yes. Hey, Pandora! A friend found ten of your daggers!"

Pandora trotted over with Archie and grinned and took the 10 Daggers and Cleaned and sheathed them before picking up Archie and cuddling him again. " Thanks I have 15 left to go."

"Here, I'll introduce you to everybody."
Calli lead Kros to the temple and pointed out Blayd. "This is Blayd he's the son of Athena and Apollo, it's kind of a long story but we'll tell you later."
Calli went over to Archie and Pandora, "This is my cat Archie, he's one of Dionysus's tigers and that's Pandora, she's the same girl from the story." She walked toward Bellatrix and Tony, "This is Bellatrix, she's a mortal but she's got keen eyes. And this is Tony my brother, we're both descendents of Heracles."
"Pleased to meet you, miss," Archie said.

Kros's shoulder suddenly felt empty. Where was Ral?
"I'm here!" the snake hissed.
Ral slithered over to Kros and handed her five daggers.
"Pandora!" Kros called to her, "You only need ten more!"
"Five!" Archie meowed, "I found some more!"
"Okay!"
Kros couldn't believe how quickly she'd gotten used to the fact that she could talk to and understand animals.
"Umm....Mr. Kitty Cat," Kros asked, "Where did you find those daggers?"
"My name's Archie!" Archie mewed, "Over in that corner!"
Kros sped to the location that Archie described and, using some measurements of angles, found the last five daggers.

Pandora then spied the last 15 Daggers. " There they are!" She then cleaned and sheathed them before straightening up and looking over at her friends. " Well I'm ready to go. One question. How are ya gonna fit everyone on the car? I can take Archie and Kayley on Sage with me. But other than that Sage won't carry anyone he's never met. Calli he likes you. So if worst comes to worst you can ride with me but if you aren't used to horseback riding don't even think about it."

Kros shrugged, "I can ride on rocks or something."
Pandora stared at her, "Ride on ROCKS?"
Kros sighed, "It's this power I got from some person...or something."
Bellatrix studied Kros.
"What?" Kros retorted, "I don't fit expectations?!"
"You're mortal," Bellatrix stated, "How come you have those kind of powers?"
"Don't ask me! Ask the guy who gave them to me!"

"Uh oh, looks like Tony's going to go in the trunk again," she teased. rofl (I really couldn't resist that one) "Sure Pandora I've rode horses before. So where are we off to?"

Pandora grinned impishly. "We're off to Sean and Sorka's place. They'll give everyone a lift to the ferry where we'll make our way to the Oracle of Delphi. Which is whee we will find out what we need to do next." She then scooped Archie up and sauntered back to the car and Sage. She put Archie in the special cup on the saddle and scooped Kayley up next and handed her to Calli. " Hold her while I mount up. Then I'll take her and help you up and everyone can load up in the car and we can head off."

[Wow I almost forgot Kayley was still with us.]
Calli got onto Sage and held Kayley like Pandora said. She glanced back and noticed Tony blushing and felt a little guilty, Aw, I hope I didn't embarrass him. She also noticed Bellatrix was also blushing, Hmm... what's that about? She smirked.
Then she noticed that Pandora said she knew the way to the Oracle's shrine, "Pandora, have you ever met the Oracle before?"
