Just a crazy day. Paladin picked me up for church cause I was gonna go with him (staying with a friend this weekend) Anyway, on the way, he started having really bad pains in his chest. We made it safely to church but he was in agony. I had no clue what to do so I tried to just get him to relax. I ran into the building after a little while and got 2 of his friends to come out. One drove to the hospital and the other sat in back with him asking questions to understand what was happening. We helped him to the emergency room and waited there a while. His parents arrived later. It turned out to be a condition I can't remember the name. But its inflamation of the ribs and was set off by heartburn (he also has acid reflux as we found out). He's fine but I was soooooo scared!

I'm alright. Wish I could have spent the afternoon with him but I spent yesterday with him so... I just wish I could take that condition away. He's going to have it his whole life and its tought cause he can't do things that require a lot of indurance now (not easily anyway). So that means black belt test, endurance races and being an instructor... I feel bad for him...

Ya he does. I just don't know how to cheer him up a bit. I want to do something really special but I don't know what yet...

i'm glad he's alright, CA. that's definitely scary. just tell him how much he means to you and that he makes so much difference in the world. nothing will change his influence for good, he'll just have to take it easier. heh. smile btw, what's the countdown to mission ETA? wink
