The new day dawns on the mansion as Tink wanders through the hallways, the early morning light creeping in through large, arching windows placed at either end of the hall. Little Luc seems happy to get a chance to stretch out his paws, even if he isn't particularly using them at the moment. Although, he does not seem to be familiar with the art of flying, so as he moves forward, he is placing one leg infront of the other, essentially "walking on air" beside the Faerie. Up in the distance, the tiny pair notice a large housecat, very similar to the ones Tink saw in the kitchen. The calico seems to be perched infront of a particular door, almost as if standing guard.

Follow the breadcrumbs... "No, don't worry, just try to eat quickly... I... I have no room for you to stay," she said, thinking of a reason for him not to say, and it was true.

As the couple silently flowed through the hallway Tinkerbelle noticed the steady movement of Luc's paws. She laughed aloud, the only sound that could be made from her voicebox. It sounded like tiny pleasant crystals ringing together, musically. Smiling, she hadn't laughed in a while. It was nice to know the sound was still the same. Turning her head Tinkerbelle another cat. She grew still for a moment, and both she and Luc touched the ground, no longer hovering. How many felines lived inside this house? From the hungry greeting she had received from the first one she had met Tink wasn't quite sure she liked these curious creatures. But by the look of the cat, standing still and seemingly at attention. Almost as if it was...guarding something? It was peculiar. Luc seemed to grow a little shifty as if he also knew what was going on beyond the point of the solid door. Slowly Tink took a single step forward. She wasn't sure how, but she knew she had to get past the feline and through the door. Something was going on and there were very few mysteries that Tinkerbelle ever left unsolved. (¯`•.(¯`•.(¯`•. ...If you dare Meet peter, "Thank you." Peter said looking to the wall as he ate. Then, as he was about half ay done, he saw something absolute amazing leaving him speachless. He saw a persons shadow, without the person. Walking along, halfway up the wall as if it were normal. It then winked and flew out the window. "I'm finished."Just another bird in a cage.

Alice thought nothing of the sudden change in Hatter. Such swings were common in the truly insane. And if anyone was truly insane, it was her friend Hatter. He passed by even the Cheshire Cat who was by no means stable. She easily got on his back. ”Alright, Hatter. Do not drop me, I beg of you. The ground is not soft…”

In the style of......Todd started walking down the path, which seemed to go on forever, but he knew his gate was soon approaching. "Ha! Me, drop such a delicious parcel as yourself? You must think I'm not insane anymore." He continued down the path, Hatter was in his mind, following along. The two of them were both enjoying every bit of Alice's company. The one girl who got away. Todd might claim she is the reason he is insane but he was must look much farther back than Alice. Maybe even before is own conception. .....Ten Sixths

Sleep had long since stopped being a friend to our dear green Witch, as her tossings and turnings throughout the night had indicated. When the sun finally broke through one of the windows, faint as it was from the mild level of cloud cover, it was met by a single brown eye glaring balefully at it for a long moment, before the cover was yanked back over the owner's head. Such a yank is a vigorous movement, sadly... as her many bruises and contusions made very clear. After a long, pained hiss was issued, that cover was removed, with significantly more care than it had been drawn... and Elphaba pushed herself up into a seated position on the edge of the bed.
Now for the morning rituals. Unwind the bandages, clean up the injuries beneath them. Grind, mix, and re-apply poultices, gently re-binding said injuries with fresh cloth from the night before. Thoroughly oil herself, scrape the oil clean. Find a suitable twig from the herbs and plants she'd requested, and do her best to get her teeth cleaned up, through various scrubbing and chewing.
Fortunately, the Witch had known her room was quite empty, so the lack of any sort of concealing clothing had been of little concern to her. However, now that her normal morning rituals had been completed, she turned to what was left of her maunt's attire, and lifted it from it's "neatly" folded pile. It took only a moment's scrutiny to mentally declare the tattered remains of said garment totally unfit to wear, and just a few moments longer to return it to it's original place. Slowly rising from the vanity, Elphaba began scrounging through the various wardrobes and chest-of-drawers for something that might be less mangled than her own attire...

Alice laughed, and squeezed her arms a bit, to give Hatter a semblsense of a hug as she held on to him still. ”I would never dare insult you so my good insane friend,” Alice replied. She smiled wicked briefly, before turning her smile to calm happiness. She wondered if perhaps she would dance later with Hatter. She felt like dancing. Hn. Otherwise she thought little of her own insanity.

In the style of......Todd continued along, and they finally made it to his and Hare's white pickett fence. He opened the gate with one hand and did the same with the front door. He was not sure if they still had company or not he just headed straight into the largest room of the house, the tea room. Not the tea drinking room. This was the room with all the tea sets and kettles. there was planty of floor space and he started the record player to a small waltz tune. He then gently set her on the ground, "CAre to dance?" He asked, offereing her his hand. HGer thoughts practically jumed from her head. .....Ten Sixths

Follow the breadcrumbs... Oblivious to Peter's discovery of a shadow, but quite relieved he was done eating, Gretel spoke gently.
"Okay now, darling, do you feel weel enough to walk? The town's only a short walk East."
The walk was not, in fact, very short, but Gretel had to get Peter to leave.

Hare's sensitive ears immediately knew that Todd was home, but he also heard that Todd had a guest, and chose instead to remain in the other room. He sat quietly, head cocked in anticipation of any need Todd would have of him.

As Tink deliberates her next move, the cat's ears suddenly shift backwards towards the door. Rising off of its hind legs, the furry sentinel turns to listen to something in the room. After a couple minutes, it seems to be satisfied with what it hears. It pauses for a moment to stretch out its front paws, then scampers down the hall with new purpose... leaving the door unguarded in his absence.

Slowly rising from the vanity, Elphaba began scrounging through the various wardrobes and chest-of-drawers for something that might be less mangled than her own attire... The large wardrobe resting against the corner wall reveals a surprisingly vast selection of alternative attire. Unfortuantely most of the garments, although adequate in sizing to fit the green witch, seem to be highly decorative. However, if one bothers to shift through the beautiful array of finery, towards the far sides of the rack there seems to be several more casual choices. As the majority of the clothing was surely meant for those of noble blood, these items might have been designed for the working class that attended to them. This chest appears to be fillled with only women's ensembles, offering dresses, skirts, and tunics.

Mr. Eccentricity
Finally, the words were set in her mind and ready to be said. Carefully, cautiously, she began to speak.
"Molly, I..." she said in a quiet voice, but her near-silent remark went unheard as Molly decided to speak just at that time too. Whatever mild annoyance or frustration that would have resulted from such a coincidence was calmed by curiosity and a happiness than Molly had decided to speak to her again. She remained quiet, not wanting to disturb her with her words. Then she asked for her input. Brightened, she spoke after testing the air with her nose.
"Yes, it smells rather pleasant," she adds with a small smile.
She's not so little anymore... "It does, doesn't it?" Molly replies distractedly, her eyes scanning the forest around them. It was possible that the scent could be coming from a short distance away and therefore offer no real threat to them in the form of additional company. However, the scent was rather strong and Molly could not recall catching a whiff of it before. It just seemed to come out of nowhere. The idea did not sit well with Molly. She wasn't a fan of surprises. "Maybe we should look around.. see if anyone.." Molly starts thoughtfully, but a faint sound from above them stops her mid sentence. Glancing up at the tree canopy hovering over them, she squints for a moment then visibly relaxes as realization appears in her eyes. The tree directly above them seems to be supporting orb-shaped melons of various sizes. The smallest ones are a non-ripe green colour, and as they get larger they shift into a corn yellow, pale beige, or some tint of brown. Some of the largest ones must be rather heavy as their branches look to be weighed down. One of the melons higher up looks like it has cracked open near the top. "It's a breadfruit tree!" She exclaims in surprise... only to pause shortly after, her brow furroring slightly. "What is a breadfruit tree doing out here? They only grow... Oh bloody hell, tell me we didn't wander that far off course.."Muttering to herself lightly, Molly turns her gaze to the forest floor. "We need to get one down. Help me find a really long stick, would ya?" she asks her companion.

Alice gave him a twisted smile, for the edge to it was too wild for it to be called crooked. She curtsied in the most proper and serious of forms as she laid her hand in his. ”Hatter…I’m ever so flattered that you asked!” Alice replied in a breathless pleased tone. She sounded much like the child she had been upon her last visit here.
[[So sorry for the wait! I didn’t realize you had replied!!!]]
