"I heard you, tough pup." she answered back playfully, still looking at the older wolf. "Ok, if he isn't going to hurt me...why did he come over here?" she asked in a threatened tone, but didn't wait for an answer. She ran straight for him, as fast as she could. Apperantly too fast, as she slipped on some snow and slid to the wolf's feet.

Instead of getting back up and attacking like her original plan, she stayed where she ahd fallen and started to laugh again. She rolled around, making a small circle around Tobias. She got up and ran to Kamali, trying to stop suddenly in front of him, where she lost her balance and ran into him.

"My name's Ona." she giggled crawling off from where she had fell on him.

Kamali 'oofed' as he hit the ground, then laughed a bit too. He decided he liked this strange pup. "Ona? That's a nice name.." his head tilted and he got up too, watching her. "Why are you alone here?" He hoped he wasn't being too nosey.

Rha...and Tobias had run off as well! By the energy they were giving off Lera could tell they weren't in any kind of dangerous siutation, but she hoped they would return very soon, just beyond this brooke lied their new home.

Lera rolled, craned her neck back, and let out a familiar howl, calling out to Tobias and Kamali. Her howl was strong, melodious, and soothing.

Ona got up and shook the snow from her coat. When he asked the question, she perked up a little more, if that was even possible. "My parents went hunting a few nights ago. They were the hunters of my old pack." she said the last part matter of factly, went to attack stance again.

"My dad taught me how to catch small animals. He says he will teach me to catch bigger ones when I'm older." she shook her backside left to right, tail shaking with it, and lunged for a small rock. "I'm looking for them right now...," she looked up in worry at that, "Your pack didn't run into any wolf...unfamiliar to them did they?" She started to think of what may have happened if this pack seemed threatened by her parents. Her mother could take on a couple wolves, and her father the same...but a whole pack?

Ona jumped. She was startled by the howl that was just heard, it sounded so dstrong, like the howl that her old pack leader howled. Feeling a little scared, she ran over to Kamali and hid behind him. "What was that?"

Suuru kept along with the pack, his wings easily sailing upon the drafts of wind that rose to meet him. His own mind was elsewhere, back in the southern lands. He longed for peace again. To sit on his log and watch his master and his mate bound through the waters happily again. No more false rumors of madness, no more pain and hurt. Just the sun and the forest again. These woods had only showed him that life was unfair... he looked to the little pup being carried. No doubt the crow's master was being used as the example of what not to be- he'd heard his name spoken to him by many many wolfs in the few hours he had been there watching over this pup. They didn't understand and instead of focusing on why the faults were there, they used them to drive fear into the young's mind. They should have focused on their own miscomings and weaknesses rather than obsessing over those of others. Lexi and Gaara were the evil ones, Suuru's master had never committed murder before like them... and with such cold malus. The crows who had been in the area were not shy on the details. It was cold murder of a youth... something that those above didn't favor in the least. They were the mad ones, the monsters, the ones pups should learn not to be like.

He scowled at his own thoughts, turning his head to take in the surroundings as best he could. They really weren't moving out as far as some of the other packs were, it was quite close to the river- following one of her outer arms that wound through the woods. Far enough from the humanlings at least. No traps were placed out here. The pups would be safe enough. He longed to speak with Gizmo... to tell him things from where he had seen them. To hear a story from two sides would give the listener more details. The points that overlaped would be factual and the rest would be up to him... even more he wished to bring his master in to talk to the pup... repay him for the kindess that he had shown him. With a sigh he extended his feet and caught a bare branch, letting it groan and sway under the new weight he had imposed upon it. He was still going to follow after the pup but he needed a rest and to clear his mind.

The strong alpha male would glance to Lera occasionaly. It was now obvious in her scent that she was now pregent, and he wasn't going to let any harm come to her.. Ever. Howling slightly, he would hear another pup.. Yes, another pup. Sniffing, he would fall back to face Kamali and the said pup, looking her over. Great, another one with strange markings. Theier whole pack was like this...

he gave her a small woff, as if testing the safety of her, to see if she was going to harm them or not. Glancing to Lexi, he would sigh. He hated how they were treating her now.

Lera still laid next to Gizmo, being to exhausted to move. Her face said that she was anxious, thye needed to keep moving, they needed to make a den and soon. She could feel like moving around inside herself, and wish that the pack could recroup and be on the move once again. She licked a paw, waitinf for the return of the rest of her pack.

*Wow... so much has happened that Carmen has been completly unaware of! Then again... she's used to just being the shadow of a group that just looms around in the distance and is their if you need company. The one in the background that no one hears about... sort of like a background singer in a band. Oh well, she was used to it sence she was a little pup so it didnt really matter much to her anymore, nothing really mattered to her anymore... she just felt like a jellfish on the water that might sometimes catch the tides.*

*Sniffing around at her souroundings the skeletal she-wolf would promptly notice in the distance a few wolfs. Slowly walking closer the scent of the two wolfs caught her nose mid way, twas Lera and Gizmo. Lowering her shoulders back into her normal slouch she would continue on to meet the duo. Noticing that the pair where laying beside one another she didnt want to disturb them incase one was sleeping. Shuffling around near.. but not to near to them she would procead to lay down under the starry light skys.*

((leanhugs Kou)) heart

Lexi, since the insident with the crow, has 'kept her head down' metaphoricly...keeping watch around the borders of the pack and staying close to Gaara, Haku, Lera or Carmen, watching the pups carefuly to make sure they stay out of trouble, but largely not interacting with them. Every time she catches the scent of the crow Suuru, she growls softly, but says nothing, knowing Lera herself is more likely to be able to deal with the threat of the birds mischeif if it tries to cause trouble.
Still, no matter what the pups think of her, and as much as their opinion wounds her, she's determined to protect them, and expecially to protect the growingly pregnant Lera. The pups may seem to lack the deep instinct she finds so natural, that she trusts so deeply, but it won't prevent her from using it to their best interests. She sighs as she finds a spot within watching distance of Leera and lays down, sniffing the woods again to be certain of threats. Her nightmares, which once had almost vanished, have woken her with a yip at least once lately, although in them, the dark amorphous shape that she remembered haunting her, has lately begun to take on a more solid shape.

Haku moved from the pup that seemed to be having a blast and curled up next to Lexi, rather than his mate. yeah, he'd probably get in trouble, but he wanted to talk to her about something. "Lexi, you should know.. No matter how they treat you, no matter how they act.. You mean a lot to me. And that's all that should matter." Licking her forehead softly, he would grin at her. She was like a little sister or something.. And he wanted to make sure she was all right.

Sitting up, he would continue to smile down at her, before glancing to lera. They would need to move out again soon.

Lexi looks up startled as Haku curls up nest to her, and then relaxes again, her eyes hezitantly warming.
"It does matter to me." She says. "Thank you..." It makes her feel strangely at home in a way she hasn't for a long time to be curled up next to another wolf, like she remembers being so long ago in her birth packs den with her little mates. "It means very much..."

He'd be sitting a far off distance from the others, trying to think over what had happened these last few moving days...they were almost there, ALMOST. But, who knew, something could go wrong...though, something really great could happen as well. Sighing heavily, he'd sit up straighter, and toss his head in a false howl...which was silent but churned his stomach nevertheless. He didn't know what to do with himself...he was upset, yet not, angry, yet happy, and tired yet energetic..Why couldn't he explain this? Shaking his head, he'd close his eyes...and focus silently on what he was supposed to do...protect the pack, and especially Lexi..

Keep moving on in life... Was all he was thinking, trying to keep himself quiet and calm.

Two days had come and gone and the pack had travelled, stopping in short intervals.Lera was tired, and wanted to seek the comfort of her own den, whyioch was now nonexistant. She longed to move into the new territory and could not wait much longer. She gave a short whine before standing. She looked to Carmen and gave a grin and a tail wag and then to Haku and Lexi. She understood that Lexi sought comfort, and she understood Haku's actions; as Leradien herself oftened did the same thing with Gaara.

"Haku, we must be on the move once again," she reminded him.

Giving a nod, the wolf would move too look his pack. "MOVE OUT." he barked at them, then took his place in the front of the pack before starting off again. They were almost there! So close. Sniffing around to be wary of humans, he would keep very close to Lera. He was over protectived at this point, nto wanting her hurt. That could be very bad for the babehs and stuff.

Looking around carefully. This was very important to him. His left ear would twitch all the while. Closer.. closer they were.

((Oliv, Leth, and Strawberry: Instead of leaving kam and the others behind can we just say that they followed the rest of the pack across the river? because it's important that we get settled in there soon e0e if there's a problem then just...tell me or something and we'll make crap up xD Ona can just tag along if she wants n_n ))

Lera gladly accepted when Haku moved close to her. She felt protected, strangely enough, and that led to comfort. She moved side by side, occasionally moving her head up to give a small lick to his face or a nuzzle to his neck. Lera would also occasionally look back to see if the rest of the pack was following. Carmen, Gaara, and Lxi were not far behind, not where the pups (considering they were carried most of the way). Lera kept a comfortable pace as they moved along the back.

She stopped as she reached another crossing point. This corssing was a smaller branch of the main river, and could be easily crossed by adults and pups alike. Stepping across this small river they would come to their new territory.

Lera promptly crossed, the chill water feeling good on her tired feet.
